Port is always worth a stop if I'm driving the through Bayhead! I was so surprised at how quiet it was on a Saturday morning (labor day weekend no less), but I'm not complaining! Service is always super friendly, and I love their selection of specialty lattes and food items. No food for me this trip, but I've loved their breakfast empanadas in the past! I tried the main avenue latte for the first time, and it will definitely be ordered again! If you're looking for good coffee, this place is worth a try! read more

Port Coffee Roasters - Iced Main Avenue Latte - 16oz - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Bay Head, New Jersey

Port Coffee Roasters is a must-stop every time I'm in Bay Head. The coffee is consistently excellent -- smooth, rich, and perfectly made whether you're grabbing a quick cup or lingering for a bit. It's the kind of place that instantly makes your morning better. I also love buying bags of their espresso beans to take home. They're always fresh and make café-quality espresso at home, which is a huge win. You can really taste the care and quality that goes into their roasting. read more

Was really excited about this one. Took the trip on a rainy day. There were a few people inside. Ordered two iced specialty lattes and the total was over $23. I know non-dairy milk is more expensive, but we go to a different coffee shop each weekend and we've never paid that much. Upon tasting our two different drinks, I don't know what the flavor was if it was the milk or the sauces that they use, but we just really did not like it and couldn't drink them. I've also never been to a coffee shop that doesn't have a bathroom open to the public. This was unfortunately a miss for us. read more

Port Roasters is a must-visit! My go-to is the iced matcha and cookie butter latte. The owners and staff are so sweet. I love to grab a drink and sit on the benches on Howe Street near the beach. Highly recommend! read more

Roasting their own beans. Option for POUR OVER for all us coffee nuts. Small place, big flavor. Friendly service. Worth traveling to and waiting on the line. Bought a few bags of beans also since they roast in house. read more

We've tried their coffee and beans at a market before but had never been to their storefront. They seem to be quite busy, the entire time we spent there. We ordered an iced americano, an iced latte with oat milk, a leek and parmesean bistro and a broccoli and cheddar baked empanada, for $20z Due to our empanada, our order took awhile to come our. The leek bistro was creamy and the empanada had a lot of broccoli. Unfortunately, our empanada was still cold in the center. The americano was a tad bitter and the oat milk latte was unexpectedly sweet. read more

They are quite busy because their coffee is phenomenal. You're at the beach - what's the hurry? I haven't had their coffee since 2023, and still remember it as the best espressos, lattes and cappuccinos we've had this side of Italy. They are ten stars. I think those who want an "adequately executed experience" should try Taster's Choice or Folger's Flakes for an instantly executed cup of experience. These are good people trying to run a business and should be supported because they produce an excellent product at a reasonable price. I am re-reviewing because of the one unfair and likely one-sided bad review. Perhpas AP was the rude one. QYB read more

Awesome coffee, place smelled like fresh roasted beans, friendliest staff and overall best coffee experience you could ever imagine.

Delicious hot mocha and coffee. Owner was extremely nice and easy to talk to. Gave us lots of information on the area!! Right near the beach. They had baked goods too but we didn't try them. Street parking was not an issue but it was off season so... read more

Slow service, both in store and for online orders. I ordered online and did not have my order after my confirmed pick up time, I heard an employee tell a customer just walking in with an online order that theirs would be prioritized. After inquiring about my order I was rudely told that it was only 1 minute past my pickup time and I would need to wait...the point of online ordering is to streamline the customer and establishment experience. Perhaps you should not operate an online ordering presence if you can not adequately execute the experience. I do not recommend. read more

The best latte I think I've ever had!!! We stopped after participating in a beach cleanup in Point Pleasant, and we both cannot get over how good our lattes were. Sadly we are not close by, but I will definitely make it a point to come back. read more

If I could rate this place even higher, I would!! This is the best coffee around. It has a great location right near the beach. The owners are truly kind people and know how to make great coffee. I've been coming here since they opened and every year it gets better! My mom loves to order an Americano, and my grandma (who is a regular!) usually orders a pour over. Personally, I think the unique signature drinks are delicious :) Their matcha is also high quality! The empanadas are really tasty and they have plenty of delicious pastries to choose from. If you're ever in Bay Head, or just passing through, make sure to stop here!! read more

Best coffee and people. Loved everything from pour overs to iced drinks. And a great vibe.

I visited Point Pleasant from out of town and was very impressed with Port Coffee Roasters. The service was very efficient on a Sunday morning when I visited, the staff was friendly and helpful. What was a nice bonus is usually coffee places only have flat whites in one size and they were able to customize it for me! The coffee was great too! read more
