Bagels

We stopped in just for bagels but ended up eating a pork roll and cheese on a bagel. The sandwich was very good with 2 eggs and 3 slices of pork roll. I wish I took a picture of the sandwich, but I was hungry lol. The workers in there are very friendly and had an excellent attitude. The place is small but there is a few tables inside and outside. I would recommend this place.

Owner serving a customer and part of the menu is visible above him.. food is delicious and fresh !!!

Loved this spot !! Food was great, service from owner and wife and two helpers was fantastic .. prices very reasonable and bagels delicious and fresh .. while I was there a young man came back in to pay because he left without paying . He got all the way home and realized his mistake and rode his bike back to pay his bill. He also left a nice tip! There are still good people all over this place !!! It's a nice deli with some seating inside and some outside .. it's always crowded !!

Ordered a whole sub but was given an 8-10 inch sandwich for $12.xx minus bag of chips cost.

The latte was perfectly frothy, and the farm-to-table menu had SO many things we wanted to try. After 20+ years of marriage, my husband has gotten pretty good at guessing what I'll order. He read the description of the Vicious Biscuit, "Jalapeño biscuit, creamy pimiento cheese, cauliflower doused in hot honey" and said, "That sounds horrible. But this is exactly what YOU would get." Yep. And it was SO good: creative, sweet, spicy, cheesy... basically everything I love. He ordered The Acosta- it was AMAZING. But the best part? Our server, Anabelle, gasped when we ordered because those are two of her favorites! She was so sweet and genuinely excited about the food that I felt like we'd found a kindred foodie spirit. Such a cute spot and so close to your beach. I'm def coming back.

I had one of the specials which was a chicken salad sandwich with the chicken corn chowder. Everything was so good. The chicken salad had dill in it and cranberries, so tasty. The soup was filling I took 1/2 of my sandwich home. My date had the chopped salad which looked really good. It had a lot of chicken on it and all of the other toppings. He liked his meal as well. Definitely be back if in the area.

Even…read morethough the The Food Shack closes at 2:00pm, the server behind the counter was very gracious and still took our order (and the orders of some people behind us) without complaining. We were really impressed by the location. The Food shack is located right on the beach which is the perfect way to enjoy a lunch on a Summer day in Point Pleasant. They have lots of umbrellaed outdoor seating, and some benches in the sun, so there are options for everyone. They also have some indoor seating, and the inside is adorable. We ordered a swiss grilled cheese with tomato on top, and a BLT. Each item came with pickles and a bag of chips. Each item was priced reasonably, especially considering typical Jersey Shore pricing. My grilled cheese was great. The bread/cheese/tomato ratio was perfect. The cheese was gooey, and stayed gooey even as the sandwich cooled. The bread on the grilled cheese was crispy on the outside and still soft and warm on the inside. I didn't know what to expect from a small shack on the beach, especially with something as simple as a grilled cheese, but I really enjoyed it. The BLT also had a gread tomato/bacon/lettuce/mayo ratio and wasn't too greasy. Overall I will definitely be coming back!

Not often does a place do as well or better than the last place when it changes hands and the previous joint was a local favorite. At the Point IMHO is one of those such spots. The menu is flat out one of the best I've seen in years! So many amazing choices from savory to sweet, creative fun names for everything, outstanding choices, tons of options for every palate. They kept some of the staples from before which is a nice hat tip to tradition but you can also tell the new chef/owner wanted to have some fun with the menu and it's a hit in my book! The food is very fresh, coffee hot and delicious, and the service is as good as it always was! Tanya is the best! The pancakes are next level, all of their omelettes I've tried have been dynamite, favorites include the French Onion Omelette, Reef & Beef and Juan in a Million. Today we had the Sunrise in Tulum Birria tacos and Country Benny (okay along with a flight of pancakes, stop judging). Everything was great! Avocado toast options are fantastic as well. Love seeing such an iconic local breakfast joint not only stay as good as it's always been but actually improve. This is a can't miss for breakfast or lunch if you're in Point Pleasant Beach or even just passing thru. Keep up the great work At The Point Diner!
