My go-to wine place in Downtown Long Beach! Staff are always so helpful when it comes to making recommendations to wines! My favorite - Silver Palm
This is the one! When you want to have some good wine and some beautiful music selections, come down to Long Beach and check it out! #LaCrush takes care of the live music! Snacks on just come and unwind
Husband & I came back for a date night this past Saturday evening since we're wine members & had to pick up our monthly wine anyway. We sat outside bc the entire place was reserved for a big party. The weather was a bit chilly outside but it was tolerable & our server turned on the heater for us which was nice. We ordered the charcuterie plate again bc that's a must to pair with wine & the Caprese salad. The caprese salad was nothing extravagant but it was a light & flavorful. As for wine, we decided to try a bottle instead of the wine flight this time & the wine did not disappoint. It was solid & we finished the entire bottle. Service was attentive & great just like last time considering they were busy throughout the night. We'll be back again soon!
Took my girlfriend here for date night and the ambiance was great -- live music really set the mood. We each got a wine flight and split a charcuterie board that paired perfectly with the wines. Service was quick and our waitress was attentive. Solid date night spot.
This has been my go to place to bring friends or just treat myself. I recently visited for the 15yr anniversary celebration and as always it was a delight to see Angela and to have a moment to catch up with her. There was a live performer and I loved her renditions of popular R&B songs. I caught myself grooving and singing along. I took advantage of the anniversary specials for drinks and food and loved that my favorites are still on the menu I absolutely recommend the citrus olives and the meat lovers flatbread. This a woman owned business and I love being to support my girls and local spots. So be sure to stop by show some love to this very cute spot of mine.
Since they changed ownership they've given the interior a little refresher which is such a great ambiance. Our favorite server Mabel is always on point! Next time I'll take pics
What a cozy neighborhood wine bar. We were invited to come out for a small event and what a great choice. Enjoyed a glass of sangria which wasn't too sweet with diced fresh fruit and the raspberry beret which was champagne with a scoop of raspberry sorbet was excellent!!! Sliders come as a pair with a side salad. Good choice of brisket and not saucy which I prefer. Lettuce cups with mushroom was interesting and something I've never had before. Good to have on days when you just want to abstain from meat. A good choice for vegans. Again, this is a cozy place to catch up with friends or even a small event. Service is good with a friendly staff. Recommend.
My parents were in town and we needed a chill place that was parent friendly. District wine was the perfect place! Made a reservation for 4pm, but I was mega late. Luckily, my parents were well taken care of and had already gotten themselves started with a bottle of Pinot (delicious). The food was good too! We started with brisket flatbread and also had the curry mac and cheese. My favorite out of the two was the flatbread. Im a sucker for great customer service, our waitress was kind, friendly, and added to the comfortable atmosphere! This was such a great place! It was a relaxed environment and Ill definitely meet my parents here again!
Five of us checked out District Wine for their Happy Hour which runs 4-6 Wednesday - Friday; 2-5 pm on Saturdays. Closed Monday & Tuesday. I had a great glass(es) of Chardonnay for a great price - $6. We ordered the Shishito Peppers which were grilled to perfection and have an amazing sweet sauce. Great starter. The Charcuterie and Cheese Plate was plentiful albeit I prefer more bread than crackers. A friend ordered a Margherita Flatbread. I was not impressed. As a final order I got the Gorgonzola Honey Crostini which was FABULOUS. I'll be back for more of that and the Peppers! The place has areas to relax with friends but also a few large tables where you might mingle with someone new! Glad this place is downtown!
This is a wine bar with a small plate selection as well as a wide variety of seats that aren't uniform design. Our party of three decided on a flight of 4 wines (which you can either customize or pick from one of the set options). As we are not wine connoisseurs, we had immense help from the waitress. Note that this place doesn't have as much sweet red wine but there's sweet white wine to choose from. We enjoyed the sparkling white wine so much that we got a bottle to go. Note that you get a discount if you decide to take a bottle of wine home. As for the small plates, we got brisket sliders, curry mac n cheese, and Italian meat flatbread. Small plates is really just a synonym for appetizers since they cost as much as a normal meal ($14-$17), but you get less food. The brisket sliders are only two sliders and the Italian meat flatbread looked like 4 very small slices of pizza. The food itself was above average, but with no bang for your buck. The overall check for 3 of us was $101.75 (includes tax and tip).
Very nice evening spent here. Ambiance chill, service wonderful. A great date night or quiet convo destination. We enjoyed an assortment of their menu items: the BBQ Brisket Sliders, Sweet Blues Flatbread, Butternut Squash Soup, and Smoked Shrimp Ceviche. All excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Louis LaPierre Reserve Brut - two glasses. Dessert was also quite nice: Apple Crisp à la mode, and Ginger Creme Brûlée. As mentioned, but certainly worth mentioning again, service was wonderful. Another bonus: did a check-in on Yelp and got a discount. Nice. Would definitely like to go back and try some of their other offerings ... with another glass (or two) of that Brut.
This place has a great feel. It's so relaxing and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My wife and I sat outside and made our way through a few of their small bite on their appetizer menu. Our waitress explained everything we ordered and gave several recommendations. The outdoor seating was nice, they had a couple little couches facing the walk so we could people watch with our pup who they welcomed as well. I don't know why it took us so long to try this place out, we only live across the way, but im so glad we did. Definitely a place to go to relax and enjoy a glass of wine and fun atmosphere

This is one my secret spots. If you are looking for a hangout or dating spot for grownups with cool vibe, this is the place. Their price is very budget friendly and food is great! While everything has became more expensive out there, District Wine is still offering a space for us to hangout without worrying about the bill so much! If you are in Long Beach area, and looking for drinking wine with small bites, this is THE place. The service is great too! They have very friendly staff. You can tell that they genuinely serve you well. read more
Had a great solo experience here, can't wait to return with friends. Located in the heart of east village, you get the city vibes from the big beautiful windows but not so busy to where it's overwhelming. This place is a hidden gem. The interior has a cool rustic vibe, you feel like you're somewhere in Solvang. I ordered the wine flight and the mushroom lettuce cups. The portions were really good and everything tasted great. My service was also great, I was served by Laura. Can't wait to come back here and try more wine. They also offer happy hour and specials. Apparently they also host paint and sip nights- pretty cool. read more

Thank you for your review and 5 stars! We strive to make everyone…
This bar was my favorite of the night because the menu has so many fun drinks to dry. My group tried the sangria popsicle, vodka lemonade, and the fiery Sonoma mule. All the them were delicious, but I enjoyed my vodka lemonade the most. The prices were more than fair for the area and cheaper than the last few bars I had visited which I absolutely loved as after a few drinks it can definitely add up. Hope they don't change the prices! We didn't get to try the food this time but it smelled so good! We came on a busy Friday night before closing (last called was at 10:30 yay!) and waited just a few minutes for a table. Also, they are DOG FRIENDLY!!! This will be my new go to wine spot! Can't wait to try more drinks and hopefully some good eats. read more

Several years ago, I stumbled upon this gem. I had a white wine with a frozen fruit popsicle inside and I fell in love. This drink was so delicious and unique. So, years later I returned during winter time only to find out that this drink is only made during the summer. However, this place still did not disappoint. The waitress created an amazing wine flight based off of the information we gave her about our likes and dislikes. Fast forward a few more years and I ended up here again during the summer to get my wine popsicle. It was just as good as I remembered, but the popsicle has definitely been scaled up to another level. This place is amazing! read more

My husband and I had our combined 40th birthday celebration here and it was incredible! The venue is so cute and stylish, all our guests were so impressed. We pre-ordered all the tapas and everything was so yummy. The staff including owner Amanda and staff Mabel were so nice and accommodating. It was really such a great experience. We love the cocktails, especially the long beach fizz and sangria and the ned Sauvignon is our fave. We will be back again to enjoy a little date night soon! read more

I absolutely adore this little place. We have made reservations through Yelp both times and their sign with my name on it never fails to put a smile on my face. Such a nice touch. All of the staff have been very friendly and offer great suggestions! My friends and I have done the wine flights each time. I haven't come across one I didn't like. The ambiance is darling, with dark walls, gold trim, and cool light fixtures! It's more like sitting in a close friend's living room than a bar. Although it was a busy Saturday night, we were able to feel tucked away in our little section. Usually when we go we will split a flatbread and a couple small plates. It's a wonderful place for great conversation and catching up! I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could. read more

Happened to come across this cool wine bar on a recent stay over in the area. Since I was alone, I sat at the bar and it was relaxing and a comfortable spot to enjoy a libation and a tasty snack. A very relaxed and comfortable environment, reservations are recommended for parties of two and up as this place is very popular with the local crowd. The night of my visit was no exception, the place was full and groups waiting as I walked in. My bartender was also my server and she was not only very professional, she also was very kind in taking time to answer my couple of food questions, though very busy. I ordered my snacks and a cold libation, kicked back and people watched while waiting on my food. Very quickly my flatbread and arugula salad appeared and they were both freshly made and quite tasty. The flatbread was a great combination of pineapple, Gorgonzola cheese and a balsamic reduction drizzle, its was delicious. My salad was enough to actually split if you were so inclined. Fresh greens, candied pecans and pickled red onions, again a great combination of flavor profiles in a salad. A cool vibe, in a comfortable setting with a great selection of not only wine but beers on tap as well. A good choice for what I was looking for on my visit. 4 Stars 00650 read more
Cute little wine bar in downtown Long Beach. We made reservations and a table was set aside for us, which was a plus! We tried several wines that were not very good. We asked for some suggestions, and the waitress recommended some pretty good wine tastings. We did not eat any food, as the menu was very limited. Parking is difficult.... Due to being on the street and metered. read more

Always 5 stars for district wine. I've been coming to this wine establishment for the past few years. Service always pleasant helpful with suggestions and with a smile and upbeat staff. Ambiance is a similar vibe to a classic Las Vegas smoking room. Comfortable chairs and private dining area for smaller parties if you want a more intimate gathering for a private group also outside tables. They have a vast wine selection from Spain and Australian wines. I was a little bit disappointed this time around because I'm a big fan of Argentinean wines but they only had a selection of 2 wines from the mendoza region which is my favorite which they have carried in the past... perhaps just a seasonal wine supply thing. Otherwise great place to come relax for a couple hours and have a couple glasses of wine and a few small bites. Highly recommended. read more

The downtown Long Beach area this place is located in, is called "Thai District". There is nothing Thai about this place. Parking is free after 6pm-- plenty of street metered parking that's free up for grab. The place is very cute, with outdoor patio and indoor sitting. The dessert is def the highlight of the meal. The cinnamon sugar covered tortilla, just goes with the vanilla ice cream and the berries! read more

I come here now and again bc I live close. Always friendly and great vibes. One star ding bc of last night...I've ordered the curry Mac n cheese a few times now, but was so disappointed last night. This was the 2nd attempt they made after we sent the first back. Dry noodles on top and a watery soupy (no cheese in sight) curry broth underneath. Usually a rich cheesy curry roux...but this was...Yikes. Please teach the new guy how to make it. They did take 50% off this dish for us, (tbh we should've not eaten it but my friend was hungry!) but I hesitate to order it again. Otherwise, go for the wine, the ambiance, and friendly service. read more

I love District Wine. They are so knowledgeable about their wines and the happy hour is fantastic. Very classy. I came here because it is close by....and it did not disappoint. I hear it's woman owned. Also, they have a paint and sip event once a month. I love it. I will be back for that and the great food, wine, and ambience. read more

I've been here a few time now. The first time I was blown away and they have yet disappoint. This has become one of my favorite spots. Great wine selections and delicious appetizers. The staff are always so welcoming and is very knowledgeable about the wines with pairing and recommendations. The Bon Bon, Strawberry Jalapeño Jam, and Gorgonzola Honey crostini's are my favorite. If your every in town, definitely check this place out. Wonderful intimate atmosphere great for dates or girl talk with friendly service. Seriously, you'll thank me later! read more

Nifty little wine bar nestled on linden ave in the east village of Long Beach. We came here late Sunday night and were greeted right away! They have a bomb selection of wines and tapas. Recently it looks like they upgraded the menu to include a larger breath of vegetarian options too! Seating is all outside and you can choose where you want, tons of people watching if your into that. This is the wine bar to be at on a breezy night out in Long Beach. Maybe take a walk to see the surrounding area after your drinks and tapas, we live just strolling the arts district. Big wine fan and this place had my heart. Good job people we will be returning 5 out of 5 stars for you. read more

Relax and unwind at this wine spot. Wonderful outdoor seating in an amazing part of Long Beach, and at night it is extra nice with the lighting in the surrounding area. The wine flights are interesting and a great value. They have 3 wines to try, and maybe they do a custom flight for you if you ask. I had the Gorgonzola & Honey Crostini: Crispy baguette, topped with warm gorgonzola cheese, roasted pecans and drizzled lightly with honey. I also had the Jalapeno Jam & Goat Cheese: House made jalapeno & strawberry jam, drizzled over goat cheese & served with warm baguette. There were both very delicious. Highlight of the night was the Sangria Pop. It's a frozen popsicle of fruit that is swimming in white wine. They have a huge selection of small bites and wines. you can't go wrong. Yummy and fun. read more
Flight Menu for $18 you can taste 3 prefixed wines Mariella Rose - Fun end-of-summer bright clean flavors of strawberries & citrus from Portugal. Spanish Red Blend - Second best on the tasting menu since it drinks more like a Shiraz my favorite aspect was the tobacco and chocolate notes (more like bitter cocoa) Chateau Grimard Bordeaux from France, this one was not as pleasant, maybe we needed a legit cheese to really enjoy it but doesn't stand well alone. We also took home a deliciously sweet Dessert Wine from CA, which was the Quady Essencia Orange Muscat. This is a sexy blend of orange blossom & apricot with a touch of honey. This one tastes more like summer than the Mariella Rose. The sliders brisket and pretty good, setting on top of cute brioche buns with sweet pickled jalapenos. The only disappointment was the flatbread. Not amazing but bland and basic. Fun Tip: They offer 50% off on take-home bottles, you can also purchase a bottle to enjoy and take what you don't finish home. If you want to bring your own wine, there is a $45 corkage fee. The setting is not ideal for children but obviously most suited for adults the rooms are moody and discrete. If you are interested in having a date night, I highly recommend making a reservation. We did this on Valentine's day with a prefixed menu which did not disappoint. Payment options are ApplePay, Debit, Credit or Cash. read more

Stopped by unexpectedly after walking by this place for a year. What a gem! My new neighborhood spot. Wine was on point and the Tapas menu hit the spot. The crostini and bon bons are yum! We definitely recommend. We are hear on a Friday night and there's a live singer from Columbia that's Killin it! read more

Is it OK to bring older kids (age 11)?
I have never seen any children at this spot so you would be the first. I've seen plenty of animals but since its considered a restaurant during the pandemic and not a wine bar, you would probably be fine.
What are the healthiest and lowest calories menu items?
their salads are good....just get the dressing on the side
