Professional, competitive, friendly, and reliable. I contacted 8 moving companies in the Ashburn, VA area to assist me with a move from Philadelphia to Ashburn. District High Quality was by far the most competitive. They communicated with me clearly, were flexible, friendly, and exceptionally hard working. After they assisted with my first move, I contacted them a few days later to ask if they could help me move another large item. Even on such short notice, they were able to work something out with me and the item was moved that same day! These guys deserve your business, and if I ever move again in the area they will be the first company that I contact. I really can't recommend them enough. read more

We had a great experience with our move. Everything arrived in good conditions. They took care of protecting sensitive furniture. We surely would recommend them. read more

They arrived 2 hrs late. They did a good job with the packaging. The quality of work was good but they were slow initially. And towards the end they started rushing. And missed a bunch of things like parts of reassembly and placement of furniture. read more

These guys are the BEST! Start to finish. Christian walks you through the move from beginning to end, basically 'hand holding' and his guys and one gal movers were wonderful, professional, friendly and always a smile, even after a very loooong day. You will not be disappointed, and I am fussy and particular!! read more

These guys are legit, professional, quick, honest!! I moved from Tysons to Reston and call different companies and Christian responded within 20 mins. I was on a very tight schedule and he was so accommodating without the crazy price tag. I will ALWAYS use Christian and his team for anything I need to move. I am throughly impressed by the professionalism and honesty. Thanks again Christian. read more

Completely unexpectable and inexcusable company; very unprofessional. As a professional who has moved many times from state-to-state I recommend paying more and going with a company that will not let you down. To the owner, Chris, do not send a canned apology response for standing me up on my important, confirmed consultation for an out of state move. To the viewers reading this, I would like to share that on the day of my confirmed consultation, I was calling from various phone numbers and texting to see where they were as time had elapsed and they were no call, no show, and no reply. I communicated with this company, specifically to Chris, very clearly and transparently that I was moving out of state and needed complete professionalism and timeliness; no time for missteps as my job and money depended on it, literally. They let me down. I do not recommend. Additionally, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and also my employer (which is an international/major firm where they solicited) to report poor customer service and suspected fraud, too. To the owner, Chris, I tried to contact you directly and also text -- calls go directly to voicemail and messages go unanswered. Do not reply to this note to contact you directly or apologize; for what? Your customers deserve better. Sad sad sad. read more

I hired these movers for a move from DC to MD (about 25 minutes from Point A to Point B) and they didn't show up the day of the move. They were scheduled to arrive at 10am. At 8:30am they texted me that they were on their way. Around 9:45am they texted me that they had been pulled over by the police and wouldn't be making it because they police weren't letting them go. Luckily, I did not pay the deposit they asked me to pay through paypal or venmo. I don't know the specifics of what happened and I hope they are OK, but they did not show up which left me in a huge bind. I had 3 hours to get out of my apartment before the new tenants moved in. Their number on their website is the number that was texting me, so there was no main office to call. I also never heard from them again after they said they wouldn't be making it. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend hiring them based on my experience. read more

Would give this company 10 stars if I could! Chris and his team worked hard and diligently and as soon as they got to my home, they got to work. They gave me a very reasonable price and were willing to work with what I wanted. They got the job done fast and efficiently and I am going to recommend this team to all of my friends and family. Don't waste your time hiring anyone else, this company will truly go above and beyond to ensure the furniture doesn't damage. Thank you so much for everything! read more

Christian and his crew do amazing work. Very respectful & professional. Their clients are always telling us how happy they are with his services. read more

I highly recommend these guys and will use them again. Chris was very responsive and stayed in touch the entire time before, during and after the move.Movers were prompt, professional, accommodating, courteous. Price was competitive. I liked that they only charge for actual time vs tacking on travel time. Customer service and satisfaction was obviously front and center with these guys. Pat B, Reston read more

District High Quality Movers provided a very high quality service at the last minute for a very good value. Though a simple move of just furniture (no boxes) within the same building, the move was done with no damage to the furniture and in record time. They even helped when my stressed out cat got stuck behind the washing machine by moving the washing machine. My experience with District High Quality Movers was very good all around. read more

I recently used this company to move from a 900 square-foot apartment to a townhome. Unfortunately after the expensive seven hour move only half of my items made it to the destination. The other half were left behind. The half that didn't make it to my destinations were left in my garage because I have too many stairs in my townhome to get my items into the house. I was left bringing in all of my boxes myself after seven hours. During the course of moving the boxes and furniture into their designated areas throughout my home I discovered that most of my furniture was broken or missing pieces. It has now been over a week and I have still not received a response or apology from the company after four emails. I have now spent a lot of time and money on replacement parts for my furniture in order to repair it myself before I can unload the boxes that I moved myself. Very disappointed. read more

I would highly recommend this moving company. I have used them three times in the past few months and they have been great. They even moved items for us from Ashburn Virginia to upstate New York. On our last move they were able to accommodate our request within 45 minutes. Very flexible and great rates. read more

Sir , we could barely reach you before we booked you let alone try and call you on the day of service. However the fact remains that your men were slow. We were in a bind. In any case a simple... "I'm sorry you did not have a pleasant experience with our company. We are committed to providing a wonderful experience for everyone. We will look into this issue and make changes as necessary. We hope you will try us again in the future." See how easy that was. If a customer has an unpleasant experience, as a business owner is not necessary to address everything the "customer " did or didn't do. Say Sorry and move on. Best of luck read more

Cristian and team were on time, took thorough protective measures when wrapping mattress, tables, etc. This was our third move and by far the best movers we've utilized. They were quick and did an exceptional job! read more

The guys with District High Quality movers were punctual and stayed beyond the move to help put together our two beds. They were professional and did all they could to help us out during a somewhat chaotic move. One of the most important things was they didn't leave a single scratch on the walls or our furniture. If you need 2-3 guys to help you quickly load or unload a POD, truck or house, call these guys! I'd use them over and over again. read more

Totally impressed and highly recommend this company. I called several movers including the one who just moved us 3 months ago and every one told me a minimum of 3 hr charge plus 1 hr trip charge and fuel. We wanted to move a couch, two chairs an ottoman and 62" media center to CubeSmart Storage about 2 miles from our Townhouse and all quoted really high. CubeSmart recommended Chris and told me they could help load our truck or move with their truck. Of course we went with Chris loading his truck. One hour later we were in storage. Best recommendation I have gotten since moving to Loudoun County last year. They are professional, dedicated, and very efficient at moving your home whether a few items or a whole house. read more

Very responsive and great customer service. They were able to deliver a bed on the same day and within 2 hours of our first contact. Highly recommend them. read more

I can't say enough good things about Cris and District High Quality Movers. I got three quotes for my Mother's move, and Cris asked questions the others didn't. We went with his company because of their cost and the quality of their service. On the day of the move, my sister's moving company was a no show, and Cris's men helped with her stuff, too. Very reliable! We ended up calling them back for a second job. I highly recommend them! read more

I've moved twice with them. Amazing service, they are fast, efficient, friendly and careful. Highly recommended. They work smart and go above and beyond. Thanks again for a great experience! read more

These guys did a great job, and I'm planning to use them again in a few months. They were very easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly to all of my questions. The movers used furniture pads and plastic wrap on all the big stuff and didn't get a single scratch on anything. They even managed to get my oversized grill through some very tight spaces. And they showed a few minutes early (and more importantly, finished an hour early)! read more

Chris and his crew were very thorough prior to and during our move. they were courteous effective and careful with our valued items. I would recommend anyone looking to move within the DMV area to use them. read more

Cristian is polite, efficient and flexible, and they did a great job in packing and making sure my belongings were safely transported. He went above and beyond to coordinate with my shipping company, which was very valuable to me since I am very busy with my two month old baby and this is a sudden move. It took a lot of worries off my mind and I highly recommend this company for moving. They work in the North Bethesda/Rockville area also. read more

I messaged about 10-15 movers after 9pm on a Thursday night looking to have a treadmill moved up some stairs that following morning before 1130am. Cristian responded right away and gave me avery good price. They were very communicative via text, and offered to come early (which I wanted so that was great). In the end, they finished the job quickly and made sure they didn't damage anything while moving the treadmill up some stairs. It was a pretty tight space and they had to remove a door, but they did everything very carefully and quickly and were very polite and professional. Highly recommend! read more

This is the first time I've reached out through yelp and not only was the response within minutes, but Cristian came back with an extremely reasonably priced flat fee that included all the services we were looking for. He came on time and did such a fantastic job. The move was from a 4th floor apartment in Arlington to a storage unit (with VERY little space to work with). They wrapped and transported everything so securely and went above and beyond when we hit a snap with getting the couch out. Then loading the unit, basically a miraculous Tetris success. Thank you for an effortless move Cristian! Do yourself a favor reader, hire District Movers! read more
