Got partially delivered, I got up and found more (5 places) at the bar, brought them back to the table. Cut into the burgers - both my wife's and mine are rare. This time, when I took the burgers back to the bar area to ask for them to be fixed, the wait staff appeared annoyed with me (or I read them wrong?). They re-made the burgers, total time from order to delivery was 42 minutes. Everyone else in our party is done: the waitress is picking up plates. How have I not reviewed district yet! This is my wife and I's favorite restaurant in Tulsa; we are here weekly because of how good it is taste and quality wise. Frying in tallow is such a plus and helps us not feel so bad eating out so consistently but also the food is just freaking amazing. I had an Olympic style jump off the high dive as I splashed my "CLASS" burger into a non-Olympic sized pool or unnaturally yellow cheese. I gave it an 8.5 as it really lacked style points. Too bad you can't give extra credit for drippiness or how your mouth feels when you take a bite. The flavor was super on point and it was fun to eat but I wish I'd have had more meat. Described as 8 oz of locally sourced beef, with pepper jack cheese, tallow (beef fat) caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato and mayo. We put a hold on the mayo. A big burger was soon delivered with fresh crisp fries. The burger was a thick lean patty perfectly cooked medium rare. It is such a thick burger it is a challenge to eat. It was very good. Next time I will order it without the tallow onions. It is a crime to cover the flavor of that excellent beef. However, my wife loved the tallow onions on the burger.
