Robert and Lana are awesome!…read more In the last three months, Top Notch has done the following for us- - replaced and painted an exterior door - textured and painted two bathrooms - re-shingled our roof - replaced gutters - washed and stained a patio - replaced a light fixture - put in a set of interior french doors and two regular interior doors - painted a vanity and made a new top for it - painted several rooms ..... and I am sure there are at least 5 things that I am forgetting! Top Notch can do almost anything you need done for your house and they'll do it for a reasonable price and at the time they said they would do it! It's even nicer that both Lana and Robert are great at responding to emails and texts as s that can make it WAY easier to communicate while you're stuck at work. I would highly recommend having them come out and give you an estimate on your next project. I mean.. now that they've finished all that stuff for us I guess it's ok to let you all know how great they are :)

I talked to Robert for about ten minutes. He didn't want to do quotes on evenings or weekends, but my husband and I both work. He eventually said "my wife will kill me, but I'll do it on an evening." He then said we both have to be there in case my husband and I argue and disagree on the work he does, and he couldn't put himself in a position between married people. That sounded a little weird to me, but he sounded nice otherwise, so I figured I'd give him a shot at the work. The next day, I got a voicemail from his wife canceling our appointment saying that we "weren't a good fit for them." I just wish they'd been honest from the beginning and not wasted my ten minutes writing down every detail of the work I wanted and all my contact information and where I'd heard of them if they were just going to cancel immediately afterward. The whole encounter was weird.

Rick helped us to source ideal materials for our kitchen and made suggestions that helped enhance the functionality of the space. Additionally, we have a toddler and his team did an excellent job working to accomodate nap schedules, playgroups, and cleaning up diligently to ensure our little one's safety in our home during construction. Several months after the remodel, when I had one or two minor issues (so small that I can no longer even recall what it was), Rick came out personally to fix them and ensure that everything was still meeting his standard of excellence. One of my dogs recently chewed one of the cabinet facings that housed the built in trash can, and Rick- who paid careful attention to my love for my baking and cookbook collection- also helped me to come up with a cookbook cabinet solution that will be built to put in its place (and will be far less enticing to our hungry pups!). Just finished a large kitchen remodel. I had the exterior redone a few years ago (siding, roof,…read morewindows) by the same team. It is mostly run by Henry who acts like a general contractor. He has a group of people he's worked with for many years. Many of the same members came back when I had the kitchen done. Unlike some general contractors, he knows his team and he also spends a lot of time at the jobsite supervising. He was there almost every day, and for several hours at a time. He has a good eye for the work and keeps the quality high. As things come up unexpectedly as they do when you start tearing things up, extra work and costs are explained and accounted for. I had some plumbing and electrical that needed to be done for my kitchen that wasn't part of the original quote, and I did ask for some painting and repair in the living room. So while there were overruns to the original quote, the work needed to be done and the costs were explained and accounted for before the work and charges were done.
