Robert and Lana are awesome! In the last three months, Top Notch has done the following for us- - replaced and painted an exterior door - textured and painted two bathrooms - re-shingled our roof - replaced gutters - washed and stained a patio - replaced a light fixture - put in a set of interior french doors and two regular interior doors - painted a vanity and made a new top for it - painted several rooms ..... and I am sure there are at least 5 things that I am forgetting! Top Notch can do almost anything you need done for your house and they'll do it for a reasonable price and at the time they said they would do it! It's even nicer that both Lana and Robert are great at responding to emails and texts as s that can make it WAY easier to communicate while you're stuck at work. I would highly recommend having them come out and give you an estimate on your next project. My husband and I are looking to remodel our bathrooms. Carrie C's glowing review of Top Notch sounded great! So I put them on our list of people to call to come out for a quote. I talked to Robert for about ten minutes. He didn't want to do quotes on evenings or weekends, but my husband and I both work. He eventually said "my wife will kill me, but I'll do it on an evening." He then said we both have to be there in case my husband and I argue and disagree on the work he does, and he couldn't put himself in a position between married people. That sounded a little weird to me, but he sounded nice otherwise, so I figured I'd give him a shot at the work. The next day, I got a voicemail from his wife canceling our appointment saying that we "weren't a good fit for them." I just wish they'd been honest from the beginning and not wasted my ten minutes writing down every detail of the work I wanted and all my contact information and where I'd heard of them if they were just going to cancel immediately afterward. I used Top Notch Renovations to completely remodel my house, and I was VERY happy with the results! Seems like Robert had somebody at the house working pretty much every day until the work was finished. It has now been 5 years and I haven't had any problems. (Rudy was the name of the guy who did most of the work, so if you could request somebody by name, I'd say he did EXCELLENT work!) If you are worried about how you'll feel in the end, Top Notch really made sure I was comfortable with the results - great company! read more

First off the previous reviews do not do Robert and his crew the justice they deserve. I am very happy with the work and personel attention given during the repairs to my house after a neighbors Dodge 4 door deisel dually drove through my house. They have been very profesional and helpful throughout the whole repair process. The work is Top Notch and they clean up after work is complete. Robert and Jenny have helped and addressed any question or concern that I may have had making the repair portion of a very stressfull situation very easy to deal with. All the stress that was caused by a dis-honest insurance company started to fade when Robert and his crew started fixing the big whole in my wall. Oh my goodness, finding this company was a godsend. We bought a complete kitchen from another company and a church was going to do the demo for us for free so they could give the old kitchen to a needy family. That fell through less than two weeks before the scheduled install of the new one. All the quotes for demo I received from other places were more than the price of the kitchen! I was so stressed and heartbroken. I called Top-Notch on a whim to see if they could help me and Lana said that even though they were booked solid, they would try everything they could to help. Well, they pulled through and made it work. I booked them for the day and they gave me a completely reasonable quote and didn't take advantage of my desperate situation. Lana and I both over-estimated the time it would take to demo the kitchen, but instead of just doing that part and bailing, they found tasks to keep them busy all day. They could have easily gotten paid a full day's pay for just over 3 hours of work, but they were honest. I don't think you see that in many companies anymore. They put up all new walls in the kitchen, repainted the ceiling, and fixed another wall in the front living room where I had removed some wallpaper all because they had the extra time. Their work was remarkable. I had questions a few days later and texted Robert and he was still just as helpful, even though he already had my money. I immediately told my husband that we are saving up money so we can hire them to renovate our master bathroom. I can't thank these guys enough. Doing a kitchen renovation while pregnant may not have been the best idea stress-wise, but they made it so much easier on me. I completely agree with Carrie C. Top Notch is amazing! They replaced our kitchen countertops, backsplash and sink and got rid of a doggie door the previous owner had put in the master bedroom wall. They are WONDERFUL to work with, always get back to you on time and work very fast. On top of all that they are very reasonably priced. Robert was adamant about making sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. We had one issue with the new sink having a strange odor. When I called them to ask about it, they immediately wanted to make it better and sent the sink vendor to our house free of charge to investigate. The problem was resolved that day. These guys are great. I called and spoke with Jenny who was super nice, attentive, and helpful and was able to come out with Robert to give me an estimate on the work I needed done. The bid was sent back to me the SAME DAY. I had other contractors come out and estimate the price for the work I needed done, and not only did they take much longer to deliver the bids, but Top Notch was the most affordable. Robert was awesome and very helpful throughout the entire process, and was able to begin working just a few days after I had placed the original call with Jenny. The only issue I had was a small air pocket on the wall after spraying the texture, but Robert remediated the issue quickly. Robert even notified me of an electrical issue that came up during the work, and helped me get in the direction of getting the problem fixed. Fixes things when an honest mistake was made. THAT is important. Top Notch leveled several bedrooms and installed floor leveled and engineered hard floors installed. There was an issue that required some of the boards to be pulled and re-installed. Even very good workers make mistakes from time to time. The important thig is that Top Notch came out saw the problem and fixed it without issue or hassle. We are big fans of Robert, Jenny and Lana at Top Notch. We had them do a complete remodel of our house and we are very pleased with the results. They are very detailed oriented and work hard to keep their customers satisfied. The quality of the work is high and Jenny is amazing at managing detailed plans. They really impressed us when, 2 months after all work was finished, Jenny proactively called to see if we had any warranty work that we would like to have touched up. I don't know of any other business that proactively calls the customer to check on warranty work! We wanted to give them 5 stars but one supplier and a couple of other hiccups caused our 12 week schedule to double so we reduced it to 4 stars. We will use them again when we need a general contractor. Also, their tile guy, Sebastian, is a real craftsman. Try to get him on any tile work you have done. read more

We recently had our master bath completely renovated by Top-Notch. I have had experience in the past with other contractors for various repairs and renovations. Nothing compares to the quality, responsiveness and attention to detail delivered by Top-Notch. They laid out an initial plan and tracked nearly to the day throughout the entire process. The quality of the work was excellent. Robert pays attention to detail and if it's not done to his satisfaction, it is corrected. The tile work by Sebastian was outstanding. Robert seems not much interested in establishing a clientel. One week ago he came over to give me a quote on installing cabinet and fixtures in a small guest bath. To date, no quote, nor an email, nor even a phone call. While he was here, I had the very distict impression that he was so not up to date on styles and materials. I imagine during all the flipping he has done, he only worked with very standard big box material, and anything a bit different is overwhelming. As Kirsten said in her review, don't waste your time. Find someone knowledgeable and really interested in pleasing customers. read more
