Great Outlet outside of Disneyland Park. Highly recommend coming early if possible cause it gets VERY busy here. Was able to find a few things at the store for under $20 total, freaking awesome. The store is split with the discount clothing on the right side, full price clothing on the other side and discounted housewares. Absolutely atrocious customer service from Philip who is supposedly one of the managers. Wanted to return two defective toy guns that I bought for my kids yesterday. Wanted to purchase two toys that were more expensive after returning the defective toys. Philip's tone and delivery was extremely condescending and rude. Pretty weird workers. I understand that they have to be all "Disney" but it's completely over done at this store. We bought gift for our kids and when we went to pay the cashier pointed at two small boxes with or ornaments and asked us which one we would like, so automatically we thought it was a gift with the purchase, but then he was "alright that's 12$ instead of 25" We of course told him that we thought it was free and we didn't want to it. It felt like he was pressuring us to buy the ornament and feel shy to say that we didn't want it. read more

Manager Natalie working at 2:24 pm on July 6th is Horrible! Ufortunately, I bought a clear mug that was wrapped when I bought it it and it was broken on the inside when I opened it. I could not have broken it if I tried because it was chipped on the inside and not the outside. She accused me of breaking it when I left the store and would not take the receipt to exchange it for another mug. I used to be a Disney Store cast member and this was a bad show. Horrible. Just a warning, see a rotund Latina with glasses named Natalie, don't expect the good Cast Member service we used to get. Samantha was very nice though. I still can't believe how poor of a Cast Member Natalie is. I always got 101 on Secret Shopper days when the store was newer. She sure wouldn't...to actually accuse someone negligently is horrible. What would the point be. I had to tell her what their receipts say and I had to watch her try to read it for awhile and she still was rude and I am nice to everyone, that is why I worked at Disney. Growing up we only had one Disney Store within driving distance and the prices were super high because it wasn't an outlet store. I'm not sure that Grown Up Jen fully appreciated how excited she would be upon arriving at this store many years later. I was instantly 5 yrs old again. The prices are a lot less than I'm used to at that other location. To the point where I can actually afford to indulge my inner child and buy all the toys and clothing and kitchen accessories with Lilo & Stitch on them that my younger self would have adored. The line is long but fast moving. The staff are friendly and one even addressed me as "Your Majesty." I'm quite positive that no one has ever addressed me as that... ever. First time for everything! The selection is quite limited since it's a small location, but again -- the prices are great. They tend to have a different featured doorbuster each time that I visit. The merchandise is not stuff that says Disneyland on it, so you may have to go directly to the park for that. Nice little outlet, though! read more

Disney Outlet makes me wonder if the "happiest place on Earth" is really just up the road - this solely based on my interactions with other parents at this store. They're plain & simple buzzkills: Rude. Impatient. Treat you like your invisible. Case in point: My latest venture at around 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015. The employees are usually nice here, but typically very busy. The store itself is reasonably large. It's mostly easy to navigate with a smaller stroller. I'm definitely not always satisfied with their "outlet" prices, but sometimes it's ok... Typical Disney store. It gets busy, but queue moves quickly. First of all, don't expect Disneyland merchandise at this store. Second, this store is called an outlet, but I don't see how it can be called that. It's located close to the freeway, so is easy to find. Orlando, Florida has stores that sell outdated Walt Disney World park merchandise. We stopped by hoping for the same kind of thing for Disneyland merchandise, but from what I could tell, that type of store doesn't exist in LA any longer. There was one when we last visited Anaheim 12 years ago. The Disney Store in general was having its twice a year sale, and this store had some great deals. We were able to get some nice Disney toys, shirts and coffee cups that were a better quality than the Disney merchandise you can get in the Anaheim Walmarts and Targets. Worth a stop. read more

Not everything is outlet priced here, but there is a great clearance section and lots of outlet specials. Mind the signs, some deals are only if you buy two or more. Customer service was great. The staff was attentive and not overly pushy. I was asked if I wanted a bag and I said no, but she came back later with one anyway when she saw my arms overflowing. This store needs to work on their expectations when it comes to parents with multiple children. I had to run to the vehicle to get something for a child, upon returning I tried to join my wife and children but was told I couldn't because there was a line. I always feel that outlet stores are misnomers when it comes to Disney. Don't get me wrong, if you're looking for stuff from the Disney parks, some of the older versions can sometimes be here. For example, clothes and ear hats. But, overall, not much to really shop for if you're looking for outlet pricing, as the "outlet" section is just three or four shelving sections. The rest of the store is your typical Disney store: clothes, toys, plushes, with some media towards the cash register. Prices are the same as your typical Disney store, as well. Never had an issue with service and, honestly, the service is not bad when considering the amount of people they would get on a given day, especially on the weekends. Citadel parking is a pain. On a Saturday noon, we parked far in the back near the corporate buildings. But, it's free, so no issues with that. read more

I recently moved to SoCal and wanted a little bit of Disney magic without having to deal with the hassle of Downtown Disney right now, so I checked out the outlet store in Commerce. The wait to get in was somewhat long (an hour for me), though in all fairness it was a Saturday afternoon, and what more of an authentic Disney experience can you have than waiting in a lengthy line? In general, it moved along consistently and people did fairly well at social distancing. Just be aware the store limit is 28 people and your mask can't have valves like mine did or any other openings. Though they did offer one to cover or replace mine with. Inside, their selection was pretty decent. As an adult without kids yet, there wasn't as much there for me or my girlfriend, but we did walk away with some nice finds, including a 10" Indiana Jones Adventure Funko Pop, a Mickey and friends Christmas ornament, a sweatshirt from Disneyland's "Arendelle Aqua" collection, an Emperor's New Groove glass, and two Toy Story Green Alien plushes, all at decent-to-major discounts. Overall, we had a good experience. The staff was helpful, the store was organized well, and we didn't feel rushed. Their selection and availability could be better, but it's a minor point. I'm sad to be writing this review because as a former cast member, I understand how important making guest experiences from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave is. It was understandable that the wait to get into the store was an hour with limitations due to COVID. We waited an hour in the sun for our turn to enter the store. We were in the store browsing for 20 minutes before we went to the register. AS WE WERE PAYING, the manager Natalie asked if those of us not making purchases could leave so others could come in. The only people not paying WERE CHILDREN. She insisted because people were waiting. We waited for an hour as well and to be rushed is my very fair as there were families in the store that entered before us still browsing as well. To be asked to leave when we were already paying is just rude. I would NEVER ask a guest to leave so other guests could come in. You're ruining that guest's experience. If you wanted guests in the store for a limited time, that should be expressed at the door not as they are paying. My family and I spend hundreds if dollars a month at Disney stores, outlets and parks. We won't be spending another dime at this outlet store and suggest others take the hour drive to Carlsbad for better guest service than shop at this store. read more

Visited this store for the first time about a week ago and my bf and I had a bad experiences with customer service. We walked in and right off the bat they thought we were trying to steal. I felt so uncomfortable when security started following us everywhere. I was there to shop for my nieces bday gift and also a shirt for my Disneyland trip but couldn't shop in peace and felt sad and in shock that the lady at the door called security. Idk why they felt the need to assume that we were trying to shoplift since we weren't event caring any huge bags nor did we go dress bummy. I've never been discriminated in my life. Crazy busy on the weekend, even when I didn't go in December. There are some deals, but overall, I was unimpressed. I was shopping for an adult, and the selection of stuff for adults is pretty much limited to shirts and mugs (I'm used to the Disneyland Emporium, where there's plenty for adults), which was a bummer; granted, they have limited-edition adults' (and kids') shirts there for really good prices. For kids, lots and lots of toys, with a big Marvel section, and both times I went, a big section for whichever movie is most recent. Lots of princess stuff, too. What I like the best is that the clothes that didn't sell at Disneyland/California Adventure end up here! Maybe you missed that Haunted Mansion shirt, maybe you didn't get a 2014 hoodie last year...find 'em here, and heavily discounted (like, 50%)! I was hoping to find picture frames and didn't, but if you're interested in apparel, both adults' and kids' shirts/pajamas are plentiful. read more

I placed an order on Disney online for some Christmas presents on 12/12. They sent a notification that the items had been shipped a couple days later. On 12/18, I got an email that one of the item was out of stock, so I wrote a complaint since I then had to rush to find a replacement Christmas present. On 12/19, Disney wrote to say that a "Magical delivery is on its way" with the item that was out of stock, so I did not get any replacement present. Christmas came, and nothing came from Disney. On 12/26 I called them, and all the rep could tell me is that the item was never shipped (so the email was NOT TRUE), and all they could offer was an apology. An apology for disappointing my niece on Christmas Day? This was my first experience shopping at Disney Online and will be my last. read more

We had a great experience on our 1st visit here! We arrived just as they opened when they held a little wake-up/opening ceremony. My daughter was chosen to be the sorcerer's apprentice, they even had her wear Mickey's robe and hat. We all said the magic words and the lights turned on for us to go in. It was great to see everyone participate and it made all the kids smile. This store has a great selection, great staff, and great deals... We will definitely come here again! read more

This outlet store has better discounts then the regular disney stores. Came here a day after Christmas bright and early and it is crowded! No surprise of course. Lots of toys marked down or on sale. Lines are extra long. My mother in law handed me a toy one of my daughters super wanted so I just paid for it. After walking towards the front door, turns out the toy my daughter wanted was suppose to be marked down to $10 for a doll. The receipt said otherwise (full price at $17). I had to hunt down an associate to ask why is it advertised as $10 but it rang up as $17. It's their job to make sure it rang up correctly. Obviously I shouldn't have to wait in that long line again to get a price adjustment. But I wasn't too happy when they asked me for an ID. Hello you just rang me up?? The associates response was she had to make sure it was MY item that I PAID for and not someone else picking up the receipt. Ok... then why would i want a price adjustement on your item that was marked on sale but rang up full price? Mad attitude over here... NOT a pleasant visit and although it was adjusted... Great clearance selection! We got lucky and looks like they just got new park shipment and 75% off! Cast members were super nice and friendly! Only down fall was I had a basket full of merch n feels like my cashier was rushing my transaction & over charged me for a hat I didn't purchase and an extra item. It happens no foul done. Just that it's out of our way to come back for the refund. They need you at the store for the transaction which is a major minus for us since we are near the park and it's a good 20-40mins away depending on traffic! Which the freeway is always crawling. Just check your receipt if your not going to be near the area. Lesson learned for me! read more
