Worst experience ever I was in a crunch because my daughter communion is on Jan 10 so I came literally Dec 28th at 6:15 to find a dress and ended up buying shoes mind you we always go to LA. But since I lagged I said why not. Dress over priced but I'm on a crunch shoes $38 I said why not every though target and Walmart is cheaper. Went home shoes didn't fit came back literally 4 days later would joy honor exchange because said shoes were worn. We have not worn them he sold them like that to us. Said would exchange but subtract 20% back to him for restocking fee.... Said fine I can find something less than $38 got a crown for $24.99 he has the audacity to say I owe $8. What a crook. I have never had such horrible service. Save your time and money go buy from Huntington park or Los Angeles where they will honor their word. This guy is a joke. read more

I hardly ever leave bad reviews however, today is the day. I went to Stonewood Mall today and saw this boutique with very nice dresses. I figured I would browse to see what caught my eye for my daughter(almost 2 year old). When I walked in I was greeted by an older Asian woman. She seemed nice and asked me if I was searching for a specific color or occasion. I mentioned I was just looking to see if anything caught my attention. I have NO IDEA what vibes I gave off and how anyone could shop there comfortably, as she never left my side. As well as did not seem to like me touching the dress (I only looked at one). She was grabbing the dress from me while I tried to see the bottom of it. So I just decided to put it back on the rack the way I saw it and she said "I'll do it." I wouldn't go back because it was so uncomfortable and was not welcoming at all. The dress was also $80 for what I assume was a random brand and the quality was not suited for a baby's skin. read more

TL/DR: Unethical and illogical policies using the pandemic as a lame excuse for poor service. I called the store Saturday afternoon and spoke with a gentleman who informed me that they were only allowing guests to try on just one dress during their visit. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted for our daughter and proceeded to make arrangements to take the 45 minute drive to bring her in that evening to try something on. We were greeted by a woman pretty soon after our arrival (gave a star for that) and my daughter and I were very excited to see all the beautiful options they had that fit what we needed for our event. After a little bit of browsing, my daughter picked a dress she liked and wanted to try on. Understanding this would be our "one", we asked if she could try it on to make sure it was comfortable and the size fit well. The woman told us that due to the pandemic, they weren't allowing guests to try on the dresses at all. She proceeded to have my daughter hold the dress up against her body as the woman pulled the bow taut behind her to get a sense if it would fit. I informed the woman of my earlier conversation with the gentleman where he explained that we could try on one dress but she pretty much brushed off my comment and said that we could try it at home and exchange it if it didn't fit. I confirmed with her and she explained that they don't offer returns, only EXCHANGES! I asked if my daughter could at least try it on over her clothes and the woman abruptly declined. Having driven nearly 45 minutes to go to this specific store, my daughter and I were very disappointed and left. I completely understand when something is "final sale" or "exchanges only", but I can't justify spending $100-$250 on a dress without at least making sure it fits comfortably. What "COVID-related" issue can possibly happen to the dress while putting it on for 2 minutes that couldn't have already happened while she had my daughter press the dress up against her body? And why is it that we can take it home to try it on and bring it back to exchange it without a concern for the pandemic but can't try it on over her clothes at the store? What it sounds like to me is a sleazy sales tactic meant to weasel customers into guaranteeing the store owner a sale rather than putting in the work to provide excellent service. I'm very unhappy about the contradictory information given to us over the phone by the gentleman who answered that afternoon. I believe he was the same one there when we arrived and yet he stayed completely out of the way and silent during our chat with the woman, likely his wife. Maybe this is the game they play? Not sure, but I wasn't falling for their trap. read more

I went to mall to walk around while I charged my (electric car)... I happened to see this store as soon as I walked in. Omg they have such nice dresses for a first communion ... here's the thing though, I had just bought my daughters first communion dress like 2 weeks prior. Oh well. But if you're ever in the need for a special event dress for a girl, check this place out. I saw crowns, veils, bows... as well as rosary sets ... I did see some items for boys, but as expected, there is isn't usually a large selection for that gender. read more

In search of some cute bows and headbands for my girls, I walked into Kids Boutique in the Stonewood Mall not knowing really what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the help that I received from a nice lady (5/6/15). At first I was kind of disappointed that I had to buy two separate bows just to get the one I wanted, but it was fine. I needed a headband for my 9-month-old whose hair is still too fine for clips and rubber bands. One of the clip-on bows seemed to be a great match to a dress I had already bought, so the lady offered to do a quick fix to get the bow I wanted on the headband I wanted. Both items were $2.99 each for a grand total of $6.52 with tax. I've spent way more than that on accessories that were just as cute. There are special occasion clothing for both boys and girls. But since we have only girls, I was truly impressed with the quality, affordability, and beauty of at least 5 dresses. We discussed some of the sizes because our oldest is a tad small for her size while the 9-month-old is seemingly playing catch-up as fast as she can. There is a dressing room! I suppose the only negative is that they don't allow cash refunds and exchanges are only honored with your receipt within 15 days. I can't wait for an occasion to pick out dresses for our girls here! Small store but has a little bit of everything. Good prices for First Communion dresses, wide range of sizes and nice styles. Conveniently is near one of the entrances to the mall so you are able to go in and out quickly. The sales person was very helpful with finding the right size and best style for my daughter. I was very happy that I was able to avoid going down to downtown and deal with parking and walking. read more

Visited Kids Boutique a few days ago in search of the perfect baptism outfit for my future godson. The lady who was there (I believe the owner) was on her phone when we walked in the store, but she quickly ended the call and asked if we needed help. She was very kind and helped us find exactly what we needed. It did not bother her at all that my godson tried on the outfit before purchase,...I know babies can be a handful! About three weeks ago I was looking for a black suite for my son. I went to countless stores at three different malls with no luck. After calling a friend in Downey she told me about this store in the Stonewood mall. When I arrived I was amazed and overwhelmed with the selection. The quality of the suite isn't the best but then again it's for a 6 year old boy. Again huge selection and very good price. read more

Why five because it is just a small mom and pop store for children's clothing. There isn't a store like this for another 30 miles. They also do custom special order if you don't like the dress at the store. Bad thing is they do exchanges no refund.... I've been dealing with the owner of this boutique and she was very accommodating and very nice person, very professional. She even told me that I can exchange the suit that we bought that was too big for my son. The only problem in this store was her employee and the name was "Britney". She was very unprofessional, rude, liar, and she will give you attitude because she doesn't want to be interrupted on her cellphone, she was very busy using her cellphone (texting and talking) while working with customer. Britney does not even know how to treat customers. BEWARE: If you have someone like Britney's work ethics in your company, no customers will likely to go shop with you and if nobody will buy to your store then you will be losing (big time) profit. read more

We've been going to this business for outfits for special occasions for the last 8 years. They have formal wear (baptisms, parties, first communion, weddings etc.) along with the accessories. You will definitely find an outfit for a boy or girl! If there is more than one customer you may have to wait as there is only one person in the store. The prices are reasonable and we've had great customer service while at this store (part of the reason that we keep going back) and it is definitely worth it! Im 8 months pregnant and i was planning on buying my little girls first dress for presenting her at church. I walked in and looked at a dress that i liked.. while the 2 lady employees continued to have a conversation no one offered help or even looked in my direction but until i planned to ask my sister through snap chat what dress should i buy then right away i was told theres no pictures allowed. Ive walked into places before that have signs outside that say no pictures allowed you guys should put one in your store letting people know. This store has really really cute clothes but im sure ill find another store with cute clothes aswell and more helpful employees. read more
