As he has aged into a toddler, he now wants to participate which is awesome! The people who work here are incredible. They still remember when we started this routine and have shared in the various emotions we have gone through while playing the games--the ups when we win and the bummer moments when we think we won but the claw drops it short of the slot. It's such a wonderful environment, and the people who work here are friendly and kind. We definitely have a great time every time we visit. As for selection, they have made some changes to the store to include more merchandise and less claw games. The merchandise is great, and there are still enough claw games to play. Heads up: the claw games take the special tokens that you purchase at the back of the store. Overall, this place is amazing! Our little one loves it especially now that he can participate. Great memories have been made here for us. The first time my little one won is a memory I will always remember--just the pure joy is priceless!

BE WARNED DO NOT BUY POKEMON ETBS FROM HERE…read more Yesterday I came across this store with two of my friends and saw they were selling an ascending heroes etb. I decided to purchase it and when I got home and opened it the packed were visibly tampered with. A few packs had a thin silver line showing at the top and some had minor air pockets compared to major store bought packs. Not only that but each pack opened THE EXACT SAME WAY - easily pealed perfectly from the top and down the back middle seal. I paid $180 PLUS TAX so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I can't speak for their single packs but after this experience with the etb I'm never purchasing from here again. I stupidly said no to a receipt so I doubt I can ask for a refund now but be warned if u do buy Pokemon cards here BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

We're compared prices on a bunch of items from each of the K-pop shops at The Source and K Place is almost always is a few dollars cheaper than its competitors. Secondly, the album selection is better and you get a wide array of new releases as well as older albums from previous generations. Many of the new releases also come with preorder benefits (POBs) that is only offered at K Place. These attributes also applies to their online store as well which we also buy from when we are unable to go to the physical storefront. The store can get busy especially during weekends but the lines always go pretty fast. The customer service is nice too. A guy let me repick my POB if it ended up being the same member as another POB I picked. If you sign up for their free membership you get $5 off every $100 spent in-store and online as well so definitely sign up for that if you want additional savings. Another thing to look out for is discounts throughout the store. Some popular items that go on discount are usually older magazines and various merch that they're trying to get rid of. Once in awhile, they'll have a stack of freebies by the front entrance too (usually opened albums without photocards, posters, etc.). Once in awhile, they'll host a girl group/boy group photocard trading event too so keep up with their social media if you want to buy/sell/trade your photocard collection at one of these events. Every time I visit The Source, K Place is my first choice for any potential K-pop purchases.

They carry albums from so many different groups, including newer releases and older ones that can sometimes be hard to find. it's honestly such a fun place to look around because there's always new releases and old releases! They had also given me extra photo-cards with each album i bought!Which i found nice :) Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for K-pop albums or lightsticks! Great selection, great stock, and really good service. I'll definitely be coming back!

To be honest, dear reader, I am not an avid comic book reader! While I do enjoy the superhero…read moremovies that come along each year, and I do casually read certain runs, or listen to explanations of certain comics via Comics Explained, I do not keep up with this medium as consistently as I do with Video Games. The only run that I have kept up with on a consistent basis is the Sonic the Hedgehog comics, both the Archie run (slightly before Ian Flynn would take over) and the IDW run as I am a huge fan of Sonic. Due to this, I do like to visit a comic book store every once-in-a-while, and this is my #1 spot! I found out about this nice little spot back in 2006 or 2007 as after learning about the Archie run via the Sonic Mega Collection, I wanted to start reading these comics. I noticed this place from time to time in my family's travels to Bellflower and asked my Mother to take me one day. I stopped going for a long time, not because of any specific negative reason, but just because they stopped selling the Sonic run. Since Sonic is the only comic book that I read, I had no reason to return. I did find out about places like Pulp Fiction, but I found that the customer service was consistently not up to par and eventually stopped going. Last year, during Free Comic Book Day, I wanted to stop by a Comic Book Store in order to pick up some of the free comic books. I first went to Amazing Comics & Cards, but found the selection to be very limited and a similar problem of the customer service being poor. I went here after so long to see if they were participating in Free Comic Book Day, and luckily enough, they were! Going in, it is still majorly organized as I remember way back when, but just now with more Graphic Novels and Manga. One thing that I can always say is the best about this place is the customer service. When I went to Free Comic Book Day, they gave people a list of what was available and crossed out any that were not available, they allowed an individual to get way more comics than the previous store I went to (like 5 comics in comparison to 2 or 3), and when I was conflicted on which comic to get, they just allowed me to have both. Not only this, the main guy at the cash register, I never got his name, but is an older white gentleman that usually wears a cap, is always nice and helpful. I don't remember him from years ago, but immediately from our first interaction, he has the best personality. Easy to talk to and start up a conversation, and leaves a definite positive impression after stepping out of the store. And this isn't just one interaction, I had been going from time to time in 2025, and the attitude was always solid. They never seem to run out of the comics that I am looking for and just generally seem to be great spot hidden away in the Bellflower area. In all, from what I remember back in the mid-to-late 2000s and recently, I give them 5 stars. A great place for comic readers and worthy of being one of my favorite spots to stop by when I am in the mood of purchasing a comic.
