This is an awesome new spot in Nashville. They have had this location open only about six months as of this writing, but they really seem to have it together. The Cider: When we visited there were 10 different ciders on tap. We went ahead and did the "mega" flight for $33 and tried all ten. There were only about two a piece that my wife or I didn't care for, but non so bad we left any in the glass! She fell in love with one of their flagships, Tiki Tonik, a pineapple cider. As she was sipping on it and smiling and purring she started thinking about the ways she could use it in cooking too! Haha. Personally, my favorite was BTC, or Bourbon Tart Cherry. It's a blend of apple juice and tart cherry juice that is aged slightly in, you guessed it, bourbon barrels! You can smell the barrel as soon as you put the glass to your lips and the flavors blend together beautifully! As for other options they had 4-5 local craft beers on tap and they did cider based cocktails too. They also have a chef on staff and serve a variety of snacks/small plate style offerings. We tried the smoked BBQ and really liked them. They also offer things like deviled eggs, mac'n cheese, lamb sliders and a charcuterie board The space is quite large, both indoor and outdoor as per the norm anymore. FINALLY! Nashville now has a taproom you can hangout at all day. The space is amazing with open floor plan, tables, high-tops, bar space, sofas, picnic tables and hammocks. There's Cornhole, super size connect 4 and loads of board games to keep you busy. The taproom includes large roll-up doors and great outdoor patio space. This is a fabulous place to waste the day away. They offer all their canned ciders plus a slew of others only offered in-house. There is also a variety of local beers on tap for those who 'just can't.' They offer a nice menu of bites(pictured), which I firmly believe all taprooms should have, and let's not forget the slushee machine! The cider slushy is killer. We tried the Port Cider slushy(pictured), the Lil' Blondie slushy(pictured) and a mix of the two(pictured). We ordered a cider cocktail with fruit tea cider, st. Yes! Nashville, get here! We need places like this to thrive. Amazingly, this is the first big, craft cidery place in town that I know of. Staff was helpful in explaining the menu to us and very friendly. Of course, we had to try all of the ciders, so we got two flights and sampled everything on draft. A couple of the ciders I thought were just okay, but most were fantastic. I especially loved the a darker colored one that was flavored with blackberry, vanilla and lavender I believe. I also love the dry, classic cider called "bob's your uncle". Some friends met my wife and I there later on and we ordered some excellent wings and bruschetta to snack on. The vibe on the inside is spacious and industrial, with an open view into the area where the ciders are actually brewed. The inside also had cornhole, giant connect four and other board games. We came here while on a short trip to Nashville during COVID-19. They checked temps at the door and made sure you had a mask on anywhere besides your table. They had online menu via your phone. The place itself is very laid back and relaxing for a fun afternoon trip. All staff were very friendly. The cider itself was okay, not my favorite but I don't really like super sweet drinks. If you like sweet ciders then this is the place for you. They had some very interesting flavors though. We did 2 flights which was kinda expensive at $15 a piece. They also tacked on a 20% gratuity to our bill which I thought was a bit much and wasn't told ahead of time. Our bill was $40 for 2 flights, pretty pricey for what we got. I'm not a big beer drinker so I was pleasantly surprised to find that Nashville had its own cidery--and it's delicious cider at that! They have a few standby flavors but always have seasonal specials going on to keep it fresh and fun. But there are many things other than the booze that make Diskin so special. Some of these include the modern & spacious layout, board games that anyone pick up and use, great music, and food trucks that often show up on the patio area (hammocks included!). Big cider fan and really appreciate ciders that lean to the dryer side of the spectrum and aren't overly sweet. Diskin ciders are an English Dry style and they do not disappoint. My favorites are the classic staple Bob's Your Uncle and the taproom only WeHo (a dry hopped cider for the adventurous type). The staff here is super friendly, service-oriented, and quite knowledgeable. Every time I visit (and I've been plenty of times) Emily always seems to be slinging drinks behind the bar which is fantastic because she is wonderful. As far as the cider, I'm not a huge fan myself. However the bartender selected a flight with the driest cider and I was pleasantly surprised. The crisp, tart drink hit me faster than I thought it would so be careful! Next time I want to try the cider cocktails which sounded tasty. If you don't like cider, they have a couple of beers available or explore the food menu for a yummy treat. This spot is perfect regardless of the occasion. We went there twice this month, and even in the height of winter, in the middle of a pandemic, Diskin Cider was the perfect atmosphere and scenery to celebrate on a night out with friends. First of all, they are extremely safe. Tables are sufficiently spaced out, an actual 6+ feet distance, as opposed to most other restaurants. They require masks to go around until you reach your table, and take your temperature when you walk in. Now that that's out of the way, the drinks are amazing. They allow you to sample a few beers/ ciders before picking and they're all very good. They had the seasonal coffee beer when we were in and the whole table ordered it after sampling it. The food is also great for both people who want something to snack on while drinking, and those who want something a little more substantial before drinking themselves into oblivion. We had the sliders, the popcorn, and the nachos, and all those are solid choices. Overall, whether you are stopping there on the way to something else and want to have a quick beer before hand in a nice setting, or you want to have a chill night with your friends and roll in wearing your beat up jeans and a crew neck (me), Diskin Cider is the place to do it with the perfect balance of fun atmosphere and cozy space. read more

Before this location was established, I was introduced to Diskin at a tasting at a local liquor store. Since then I have had the biggest love affair with the Tiki Tonic--buying a pack and either drinking it straight or mixing it and making my own cider cocktails. When I heard that Diskin was opening up a location, I had to go! Thank goodness I did! They have a few other ciders that are not sold at my local liquor store. I tried a flight of the ones new to me. I think I might have a new fav! Wild & Single!!!! The flavors of the cider are so fresh! Tip: sit at the bar and snack on the spicy granola! They do have food but this time I was there just for drinks. I can't wait to go back and sit in the patio area and perhaps rest on the hammock. Such a cool chill spot!
