I love cider so I knew going in that I would love visiting their taproom. And yep, I did. Place is quite large - plenty of seats. They have games and cards you can play with and they had some sort of class going on while we were there. Maybe cake decorating or something? It looked fun. The server was extremely helpful - explained what some of the flavors were and gave me her opinions and favorites. We tried a flight - all delicious. The only issue I found was they didn't open till 4pm on Friday - didn't leave us much time when we had plans that night.

I tried the seasonal drink local AF and BTC. It had blackberry and vanilla. It was absolutely delicious. The other had bourbon and it was so good.

Cider breweries are my jam and Diskin was top notch. Innovative and fun flavors. I really enjoyed Daydream, Babe Magnet,Ciderveza, Hot & Sticky). As for the ambiance, there is a large indoor and outdoor patio, plus TVs, food menu as well as a drinks menu if others in your party prefer other drink options. Bonus: Diskin is pet and baby/kid friendly. They have board games as well as cornhole and a few other outdoor games on the patio. In a nutshell: this is a fun spot worth checking out if you're a cider fan.

I'm a cider girl from Colorado and I was more excited to try Tennessee cider than I was the moonshine and the whisky (though we did that too :). I could not have been more thrilled to discover Diskin! From the moment we walked in, the ambience was great, the lighting, the music, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Lex walked me through the options, I ended up getting a flight of six tasters - I'm on vacation! And everyone single one was a delight. The prices are reasonable too, I'd be a regular if they had a location out west!

While in town this weekend we discovered Diskin had a special event to celebrate the release of their Roses Cheeks Cider !! We had a blast, lively event with a chill vibe and fun activities. Snow globe making was my favorite! We started with 2 flights to try a variety of flavors, each one unique in its own way and ripe with flavors. We both agreed that as described is exactly what you get, which we appreciated immensely, sometimes you're searching for the flavors and that's no fun.We finally decided on "Bobs your Uncle"and "Tiki Tonik"as our go to for the day, both smooth and satisfying without being too sweet or dry. Big hats off to the lovely strawberry blonde young lady who showed me how to make a Snowglobe, I love it and will always remember you fondly. They also had a beautiful snow day backdrop for pictures and some twinkling lights for ambiance. Overall a very enjoyable day in a comfortable atmosphere!!

Diskin is so good!! Love the vibe of the place with open garage style doors. Friendly for large groups! They also allow dogs outdoors which is great! The flight was such a fun option to try the different ciders. I cannot explain how big this venue is!!

Went here for trivia on thursday! Trivia was awesome. Such a big area and dog friendly outdoors. I actually ended up mixing two flavors per the bartenders recommendation and it was amazing! I was hungry and got pizza, im not sure if I just dont really love slim and huskies or if this specific flavor wasn't for me. I got the hot chicken pizza, it was over cooked and not very cheesy. The cheesy bread was a good app.

Slim & Husky's Pizza has taken over the kitchen here and it was such a good decision! Everyone was so helpful and took my order quickly! I ordered the Nothin But A V Thang vegan pizza and it was so so good. Perfectly crisp and full of toppings. They released a Cherry bomb cider today and had a themed party with a cute photo backdrop.

As one of the only "cideries" in Nashville, you have to check this place out! The atmosphere is a mix of casual and fun! There's a large seating area both indoors and outdoors. When the weather is great, this place is a must. If you know what you want, you can order a regular size of any of their ciders on tap. I had never been here and decided to go with the flight. They gave me four choices of ciders. I decided to go for three of the flagships ciders: 615, Bob's Your Uncle, and Tiki Tonik and one of the seasons ciders: Jo Loco. Each one had a distinct flavor, with the Jo Loco (limoncello), 615 (fruit tea) and Tiki Tonik (pineapple) being the most unique. I will say though, Bob's Your Uncle was the most traditional and my favorite along with the 615! The drinks were delicious and I can't wait to come back with some friends!

Diskin is a craft cidery located in Nashville's Wedgewood Houston neighborhood and has become one of my go-to places to grab a drink with friends I attended this weekend for "Babe Fest" - a celebration for the launch of Babe Magnet cider - and had a wonderful time. It was my first time ordering food from here, and my Bahn John was delicious! I also ordered the charcuterie. It was an extremely generous portion, especially given the price, but slightly awkward to eat since it didn't come with any crackers or bread. Diskin is dog friendly and has a great selection of board games and yard games. There's also plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.

I LOVE Diskin!!! They have the best ciders in town with a great selection. The seasonal one right now is called Resolution, it is a cinnamon spice cider and tastes like fall in a can. There was a food truck here on a Friday night, I got the chorizo papas and they hit the spot. They also do drag brunch on the weekends which I have been wanting to go to since I'm sure it's a blast. Come here for a fun, chill night out!

They opened at 4pm and let us in when we were a few minutes early. Loved the ciders they had and so happy we got to come here and give them a try. We even met the owner who was super cool and chill ! Love the fact that the space is so open and everyone was having a good time. We tried 12 of their ciders. 11/10 would recommend coming !!!

Love this place! They are super dog friendly (not just dog tolerant). They allow your dogs inside which is a godsend when it's 100 degrees outside and you just what to go somewhere cool to enjoy a beverage with your best friend. I'm not necessarily a beer drinker, but I enjoy their frozen cocktails.

Ask the Community - Diskin Cider

Are we allowed to bring our own food?

No; they have rotating in-house food providers. Menu can be found on website.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, but limited to the outside. The area outside is very large and we have taken our pups many times when it’s not too hot outside.

My daughter, my BFF, and I headed to The Mockingbird in Nashville, Tennessee for a bachelorette brunch, and let's just say the food did not disappoint! The menu was full of creative dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. From the burger and seasoned fries to the steak and eggs, crispy Brussels sprouts, and everything in between, we had ourselves a proper brunch! But can we talk about that GRILLED CHEESE?! Listen... we LOVED it! Sometimes the simplest dishes end up being the ones you remember most, and that grilled cheese definitely made an impression! And the sweetest little touch? The Mockingbird surprised us with a "Congrats, Bach!" card that made our celebration feel even more special. Good food, great company, and making memories with two of my favorite girls before the big day. That's what this season is all about! She Eats He Eats: Bachelorette Edition! All three plates landed well and the kitchen kept things simple and consistent. The mocktail program deserves a mention. Easy room to sit and talk through a meal. We will be back.

The service was a 10/10--truly superior. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the menu and how almost everything could be ordered as shareable plates. The ambiance was also really nice and made it a great spot for trying several dishes and enjoying the evening. We ordered the plantains, duck tacos, sticky ribs, truffle mac & cheese, gnocchi, and crispy tuna. The STICKY RIBS were absolutely the star of the night! Crispy on the outside, moist and tender inside, plenty of meat, and packed with flavor. Oh my goodness...these alone are worth going back for! I already can't wait to have them again. The duck tacos were another favorite--well seasoned with a crispy wonton shell that gave them the perfect crunch. The crispy tuna was really tasty as well. The gnocchi had a little more sauce than I personally prefer, but it was still very good. The truffle mac & cheese was okay, but fairly average compared with some of the other dishes. The only dish I didn't enjoy was the plantains. They had a combination of sweet, salty, and a little spice that just didn't work for me. And don't skip the drinks! I had a frozen margarita that was DELICIOUS and the perfect addition to the meal. Overall, Kore was a great experience--from the service and atmosphere to several standout dishes. I'm definitely returning, especially for those sticky ribs! If you haven't tried Kore yet, add it to your Nashville list.

We were staying at an Airbnb in East Nashville recently and read about other's very positive…read moreexperiences at Kore so we decided to give it a try! :) Also because of recommendations, we made a reservation ahead of time! After some fairly lengthy confusion at the hostess stand, despite having had a confirmed reservation - it took quite a while for her to decide which table she wanted to give us out of the many open spots. She left us standing there, without explanation, to go put out the placements that seemed necessary to have set before we could sit, then finally came back to take us over to a spot - this didn't feel like a greatest start to the evening. It was very awkward. You know what they say, first impressions are important! Thankfully we were greeted by a very friendly waitress who was very knowledgeable about the menu, both food and drinks! She took great care of us throughout our meal. We dove in with drinks - A Sapporo, they have it on tap, and it's delicious! As well as an Old Fashioned! Both fantastic! It took us a little while to decide which food items we wanted to choose! This is a small plates restaurant so the options are numerous, they all sound so good!! We tried to pick at least one thing from of each category! We decided on the Kalbi dumplings, the Cauliflower, Kalbi Steak, the Crispy tuna, and Gochujang Mole. Every single dish was absolutely amazing and filled with the most rich, full flavors!! My absolute favorite was the crispy tuna! So delicious!! The mole dish - Chorizo, fingerling potato, red onion, red veined sorrel, crema was also next level exceptional! SO much flavor!! Something that was a little strange about our visit, and the reason for only giving 4 stars is this: We made our reservation off of the times offered by the restaurant. We chose 8:30 due to other things we had going on in our day - they offered as late as 8:45. This is the type of place that it's nice to work slowly through the menu and try a few dishes and then order a few more, etc... Unfortunately, right after we placed our initial order we were informed that we would need to have all of our food AND drink orders or refills in to the kitchen within the next 10 mins as the kitchen would be closing. This was too rushed and disappointing for what we were planning on for our dinner. We wished that the restaurant would have been more clear about this when we made the reservation, or at least when we first began perusing the menu. We did not have enough time for what we would have preferred and did not end up ordering any more food or drinks, as we definitely would have - however, what we did try was worth it! I would just HIGHLY suggest going earlier in the evening, much longer before they close!!

One of My Favorite Meals in Nashville…read more Whenever I travel for work, I make it a point to seek out authentic, locally loved restaurants instead of the usual chains. I first found Onda about a year ago during a previous trip to Nashville, and it's become one of those places I try to visit every time I'm back in town. Onda's name comes from the Korean word meaning "to come," and that's exactly how it feels. It's an inviting, modern Korean restaurant that celebrates traditional cuisine with thoughtful hospitality. The restaurant itself is beautiful--a bright glass-front corner space in Midtown that's clean, contemporary, and welcoming. Parking couldn't have been easier with a dedicated lot right across the street, and I believe they also offer outdoor seating, although on this rainy visit everyone was happily inside. My go-to is always the L.A. Kalbi, and Onda absolutely nails it. The marinated beef short ribs arrived sizzling over caramelized onions on a cast-iron platter, filling the table with that unmistakable sweet soy aroma. The meat was tender, beautifully caramelized, and pulled effortlessly from the bone. Every bite reminded me why this is one of my favorite Korean dishes. The meal came with a generous assortment of banchan, and honestly, those little side dishes are half the experience for me. The kimchi had just the right balance of tang and spice, the potatoes were comforting and delicious, the crisp pickled vegetables and radish added that refreshing bite that perfectly balanced the richness of the beef, and every little dish complemented the meal beautifully. The rice also deserves a mention. It wasn't plain white rice but a darker grain blend served piping hot in an adorable little copper bowl with its own lid. It's those thoughtful touches that make a meal memorable. I usually judge a Korean restaurant by two things: the quality of the kalbi and the banchan. Onda excels at both. Their menu also offers everything from japchae, bulgogi, seafood pancakes, tteokbokki, soft tofu stew, kalbitang, Korean fried chicken, kimchi fried rice, and traditional Korean barbecue favorites to creative dishes like kimchi arancini, plus cocktails, soju, makgeolli, and even milk bingsoo for dessert. What also stood out was the atmosphere. The dining room was filled with people who clearly knew and appreciated Korean food, which always gives me confidence that a restaurant is doing something right. The service was warm and welcoming, and checkout was quick and easy using a handheld payment app. Perhaps the biggest surprise? The value. Around the country, L.A. Kalbi often costs well over $35. Onda's was just $28, and the portion was generous enough that I couldn't even make room for dessert--even though I was eyeing the milk bingsoo and homemade madeleines. Nashville's food scene continues to impress me, and Onda has earned a permanent place on my list of must-visit restaurants whenever I'm in town. Life is too short not to eat well. If you love Korean food--or you're simply curious to explore it--put Onda on your list. I don't think you'll leave disappointed.

The space was very chic and clean, with bright colors and vibrant energy. The bartenders were there when I needed them, taking my food and drink orders but not overly smothering me. There were some things that stood out, but most that did not. I welcome comments on what I should focus on for a future trip, as I am always willing to go from "this is average" to "this is outstanding" if I just did not hit the right notes. Tl;DR - Dessert was the star of the show This came recommended by a guy I recommended Kosho to. He came back with a glowing review of Kosho, so I figured his recommendation of Tantisimo as the best restaurant in Nashville might stick. Perhaps I should add this up to a night that was not hitting on all cylinders? Or perhaps our taste buds were not in line with the crowd here. As such, I find this average with some high notes. Yes, I know most people consider 3 stars to be bad, but to me it was just average. YMMV This was a last minute decision and I was able to find a spot in their parking lot when I drove up. This is a kind of luck I seem to have, but would gladly give up for winning a huge lottery. LOL. Seemed like a great sign. Coming in, the place is small, but definitely builds up the vibe they are going for, which is like a small, upscale cantina. Kudos. Nicely bound cocktail, beer, wine, and liquor list. Kudos. Trisha greeted and was able to lead us to drinks. Kudos again. I got the Much Fashioned, which was like a Latin old fashioned, which uses Belle Meade bourbon, piloncillo, and aztec bitters. Very nicely done cocktail. As it was later, we went more with smaller plates: bolillo bread, pan de bueno, yuca encebollada, crudo, and shrimp skewers. The pan de bueno was a bit like Brazilian Pão de Queijo only less cheesy in execution. The Bolillo bread was more interesting with the chorizo butter. The star of the starches was the yuca encebollada with mushrooms and scallions. The Yellowfin crudo was interesting with the strawberry, which added a nice touch. The fried planatin strips added a nice visual. The shrimp were overly salty and a bit overcooked. We ended with dessert. The CU|FLan was excellent. And extremely well executed flan. I got the carjillo, which reminded me a bit of an espresso with a nice hint of vanilla. I would go back for dessert and drinks, for sure. I am torn on the meal and would love to have any recommendations of what items I did not have I should consider on a future trip.
