I've never bought a car here but over the last several months they seem to be using the side street in my neighborhood as overflow parking, probably for shady repossessions, since their is also always an equally shady looking tow truck parked near by. For a few months now they've got cars lined up and down the street on Norseman Terrace parked across from the school and 95% of these cars always have that Discovery Auto advertisement plate or plate frame. Some of them have paper tags still, others have real plates, and they're all parked nuts-to-butts down the street. I purchased an automobile from Discovery about 8 months ago. I also purchased an Extended Warranty form them. here recently I had an issue with the warranty company whether they would cover an electric motor. They denied my claim. I reached out to Discovery and they got on it immediately to resolve the issue. The issue has not been resolved as yet, but the professionalism and service ( after the sale) was totally awesome. This is a pretty long story. This auto place sold my mother-in-law and brother-in-law a 2014 Ford flex. They claim all cars are checked out by mechanic before sale and clean. The car was sold dirty first off; second, we were sold head rest screens as add ons that never worked as well as dvd player the front ac is messed up the driver side only blows cold the passenger only heat wiring all screwed. In the first month our rear driver tire was ruined, it was as if something peeled a strip of the tire all the way around. Then a month later, the same thing same tire(we bought a brand new one) the manager at the dealership blamed us and claimes hes seem people drive from one side of his lot to the other and do the same thing. Its because of the rims he said. This isnt our first vehicle with rims. We have delt with this and have replaced a total of 5 new tires in less then a year. And when I message them on the facebook page instead of anything helpful the block and DELETE MY COMMENTS WARNING PEOPLE. I am Filing a complaint because this company and Zeus financial is constantly scamming. They wait to do certain things just to charge you more money. They ask your personal business and still don't care. They give you one week grace ****** which is not helpful at all. This company works like a cartel instead of a business. They don't ever take accountability. They blame everything on the customers. I wouldn't recommended anyone to this company. They are going to scam them out of so much money. They don't have a service center. You pay for insurance on the car if you don't have your own. Even if you break the car they don't use the insurance unless the car is in a wreck. They make you pay to fix any damage on the car yourself. I don't think anyone should get a car and be lied to within their contract. I never got a printed copy of my contract. I've asked more than once. I want to be sure I am getting treated fairly. I've heard nothing good about this company. Most of the cars I see on the road are all beat up in some way. They pride themselves on "Working with their customers during hardships" and blah blah blah but after you've had your car for 8 months, never miss payments and are never late on payments, and need to have the catalytic converter replaced which is a $1600 job, not only does their service center NOT do this type of repair but they don't give a damn when you actually need their help with ONE payment. I would not recommend this place. I went to this dealership to look for a car after spending a long time waiting for someone to assist me after they said they would. Then they told me to come back another day. I went back, and the wait was once again so long. After getting approved for a car the guy assisting me Failed to communicate a lot of important information before getting approved like needing full coverage ins. Down payment will be way more than what I anticipated, he was really adamant on putting something down at least to keep the car to a side for me, i made sure to ask if I decide not to get the car what are my options he said I would receive a check with my money I went back to get my deposit and the lady at the window was rude! I bought a 2012 Ford Focus SE on Friday December 21st, 10 days later while traveling to be with family on December 31st my vehicle began to stall in the middle of I-35 at 2am in the morning. Luckily I was able to pull over but once I did the car stopped and would not start again. I was stranded on the side of the highway in 30 degree weather and since the car wouldn't start I didn't have any heat. Discovery Auto sent a tow truck to pick up the vehicle and then closed for the day- WITH NO NOTICE TO ME. No one called me to tell me what was going on with my vehicle and after repeatedly calling back I messaged their Facebook page I was told they closed at 1pm for New Years and would not reopen until Wednesday January 2nd. HOW CONVENIENT. So, I was stranded for New Year's - I had to pay for a Lyft just to go get food. And now here it is January 2nd (also my daughters 7th birthday) and after paying $100 for a Lyft to work TO PAY FOR SAID VEHICLE I had to contact Discovery since no one had contacted me back. I was told by the representative at the service desk that due to them being closed for the holiday a service technician was just now about to look at my vehicle and that she 'would let me know.' I then asked her what I am supposed to do for transportation since the car I just purchased has broken down. She then told me her supervisor is "out for the week" (CONVENIENT, ONCE AGAIN) and due to the 'troubles' they've had in the past with loaner vehicles they no longer let customers use them. I then asked her how that is my problem when I JUST paid a substantial amount of money down to purchase this car and THEN also paid $266 more on the vehicle on Friday December 12/28 and also today $100 more for a ride to work. I have a car that I'm paying for but can't drive it and I'm still having to come out of pocket for transportation. This has been one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had with any business and to top it off THIS IS HOW I'M STARTING MY NEW YEAR OFF.
