We have been using Legacy at Home caregivers for our mom off and on for over 5 years. We have had…read morewonderful experiences with them. There have been times we've needed caregivers 24/7, and there have been periods of time when we've only needed a caregiver for a few hours here or there to support mom while venturing out to a doctor appointment. Legacy at Home is flexible and allows us to shift between mom's needs with very limited notice. After a recent fall and an ER visit, mom was sent home about 10-11pm. With a few hours advance notice, we were able to have a caregiver meet her at her facility and stay the night with her to provide the support she needed. The schedulers are fantastic and the caregivers are warm and loving. If for some reason a caregiver cancels at the last minute (car accident, illness, dangerous weather, etc), the scheduler on duty will work tirelessly to find a replacement caregiver and they will call back with regular updates on their progress - no matter if they are successful in locating a replacement caregiver or not. And most of the time they are able to find a replacement caregiver. They have amazing people who are caregivers. Many of them have made this their career choice and they want to help and support their patients. It may take a few caregivers before you find the right personality match between your loved one and the caregiver, but once you find the right matches, it's a wonderful thing! The caregivers select their preferred schedules and patients and you start to see the same people over and over again because they form very sweet caring relationships. The caregivers may even text an update here or there, if you also form a relationship with them. I highly recommend Legacy At Home. They have provided significant peace of mind for our family knowing our mom is being well cared for every day.

We are incredibly grateful we found Lifted Hospice during one of the hardest moments of our lives…read more We spoke with multiple hospice services, and from the very first interaction, Lifted stood out for their compassion, responsiveness, and deep understanding of cancer care. Melodie Tubbs, BSN, RN, went above and beyond. She came late in the evening to explain everything with care and patience, knowing how critical my dad's condition was. Early the next morning, she personally made sure all paperwork, medications, oxygen, and essential supplies were processed and delivered within just a few hours. That level of urgency and follow-through gave our family immediate peace of mind. Our assigned nurse, Tiffany Rowbotham, RN, has been exceptional. Even with a busy schedule, she arrived within an hour of being notified. She took her time assessing my dad, never rushed, and calmly explained things multiple times to different family members. Most importantly, she made sure my mom felt supported and comfortable. Her presence alone brought reassurance during an overwhelming time. We also learned about the heart behind Lifted Hospice. The founder, Chris Jones, started this organization after his own father's experience with hospice care. That passion is clearly reflected in the way the team operates. His values still guide the company, and it shows in the genuine care provided to both patients and families. Watching a loved one go through this stage of life is never easy, but Lifted Hospice has brought us clarity, comfort, and trust when we needed it most. This is a God-blessed organization. I can say with complete confidence that if you or your loved one needs hospice care, Lifted Hospice will truly show up and care with heart, dignity, and professionalism. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended.

This is copied from my Google review and had to add an update to their response:…read more I have filed official complaints against this unprofessional organization with HHSC and others will follow. If your loved one has dementia or Alzheimer's, do NOT use this company. Scott looked me in my eyes and lied to my face, the "doctor" had NO clue about my fathers previous baseline. I told Scott before we signed up with them that I require the doctor prescribing the medication to understand that my fathers baseline just 90 days prior, and I was assured he would. All this company wants to do is dope your loved ones up and say that's normal protocol for someone with Alzheimer's. Do NOT let anyone prescribe Depakote to your loved on if they have Alzheimer's. What's worse than the doctor not knowing a thing about my father and Scott lying to my face is, when I asked for his complete file, they sent me a partial file telling me it was complete and then I asked where the doctor notes were from Scott to "Dr" Basil Younis as well as some other things, I was stonewalled, lied to again from Alecia Powell saying that they just sent a partial file because they wanted to get me the files fast and by law they had 14 days to send this. It's been over 30 days and they have still yet to send me the complete files. I will be filing complaints with CMS & APS in addition to the complaints I have already filed. They also had a woman in my fathers room that must have been rented from an agency, because she was wearing a different logo on her shirt, and she was ROUGH and UNPROFESSIONAL with my father. When I asked Alecia Powell who this woman was, and even sent her a picture of this woman, Alecia refused to answer the question as to who she was and if she was employed with them. What make matters even worse, I added in Chris Jones to the email to try to get some help, but even Chris (CEO) per LinkedIn didn't have enough professionalism to get involved and address the situation. How stupid can you be!! I have EVERYTHING in writing and in videos. So, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The do NOT care about you or your loved ones and all they will do is DOPE THEM UP!!!! UPDATE: What a joke your response was. How about his, why don't you post PROOF of me harassing your staff?? Why do you continue to LIE not only to me, but to everyone reading this? Since you want to make false statements about what I did and did not do, I will post screenshots from Scott who lied to me, and pictures of the woman you still have REFUSED to address whether or not she works for you. In addition to this, Scott also said my father slapped and grabbed your staff by the throat, yet this was NEVER mentioned to anyone, including the facility dad lived at, so this was clearly another LIE! So, your staff was attempting to further drug my father due to the "agitation", your staff lied about in an attempt to further medicate him when I hired you only to taper him OFF the Depakote that the first hospice company put him on which ironically enough, Kristtina who is your liaison and happens to be Scotts wife came from that hospice company. I hired you at the recommendation of the facility dad was at. Since you just want to lie, here's some screen shots of my conversation with Scott. Folks can make up their mind who is telling the truth and who is lying! Scott also tried to fear monger me into dad being kicked out of the facility if his behavior got worse in an attempt to make me comply so you could continue to dope him up. Lastly, dad was completely OFF Depakote for more than 2 weeks with REDUCED agitation, NOT INCREASED! 100% documented from the facility he lived at. So, this "Doctor" and Scott told me they needed to keep doping him up when in FACT, this was NOT needed! SHAME ON YOU!!! As I told you in the email yesterday, you are in violation of the law, you refused to give me the records when I asked for them, and still have not. I will also be contacting the attorney general. You should have done what is required of you, but instead, your team lied over and over again and now you will be held accountable! Your turn, show us how I "harassed" your team. I'll wait!

Asked for the invoice I assumed my sister received it but I got it and then had someone else in the business look at it and they indicated I was over charged by at least 20%. But my sister seemed to like the people so we went on. This week my credit card company notified me that possible fraud on my card. Realized it was possibly visiting angels so sent Britt an email asking if they had charged the card because i nor my sister had not received an invoice. No response, but looked and my card continued to get charged again that morning. I was out of the country but called Britt since he had not responded to my email. Indicated to him that had possible fraud but he said he had charged it. I said ok but I never received an invoice from him. He said he always gets payment first then gives us an invoice of charges..... I said that is unusual. Most all companies bill the services so the client can review that charges than is paid. He argued with me and became rude after he maybe saw I was catching him in a possible unethical business practice. Any company I know would never have a problem showing the client what service is being done for the Payment. The other visiting locations in the area seem to have positive reviews reviews but this one in Plano does not. We have decided to find a more reputable service in the area. Look closely before you make a quick decision on a slick talking marketing rep.
