They all have the patients best interest at heart and are very loving and caring. They are quick to respond with any and all questions or issues. I highly recommended this team. They started out in IL (independent living) and 3 years ago we lost Dad and Mom moved into DL (dependent living). All buildings are connected so Mom gets to see old friends at Sunday Brunch. (She is 93 now.) She has made many new friends in the DL building who are charming and so nice to her. I'm writing this because over the last 5-6 months I've been joining Mom for Happy Hour and have gotten to know her friends. I can't tell you how many stories I hear them share about other facilities in Dallas (Austin and Houston too) about how bad the food is and how they themselves (or friends) are ignored and not cared for. They told be several times that when they tell people how awesome everything is at The Forum... their friends don't believe it!! LOL, LOL. Well... it's true! Yes, I confess I take Mom to Sunday Brunch so I can get one of the best omelets in Dallas (in the IL building) and the rest of the food is so nice. My sisters take guests and we always celebrate birthdays and holidays at Sunday Brunch. Enough about that. Let's get to the brass tacks. The staff is probably the best I've ever encountered. If I'm with Mon and she has an ache and needs some Tylenol, I call the front desk and the nurse brings it to her within 15 min or so. VERY RESPONSIVE!! (Abbey is so awesome!) Mom has a Help Watch on her arm and can press the button and help comes immediately. As well, the staff will call me with every incident (like sliding out of her chair, etc.) Major or minor - they update the family immediately. AWESOME! Ok. So you are looking for a place for your parents. Absolutely check out The Forum. Have frank and direct conversations with the staff who show you around (and see if you can pay to sample the Sunday Buffet!!) Our family has so much peace knowing even the cleaning people care about a quality job and if they observe anything that needs attention - they alert the right people. Called and talked to Alex and he met me the next morning and had the hospital bed and other equipment delivered to our house early afternoon. He took care of all the details and coordination including having a nurse there ahead of my Mom arriving from the hospital. The nurse (Katrina) was absolutely an angel! She had over 4 years of hospice care and was so professional and compassionate and along with medications made sure Mom was comfortable and not in any pain or discomfort. Highly recommend!

FRANCES LOMIBAO**** Over the past decade, I've grown accustomed to the poor bedside manner of physicians. Most doctors don't listen to their patients. Most doctors mumble "mmhhmm" when you tell them you're in pain. Most doctors tell their patients what to do. Dr. Lomibao is not most doctors. Dr. Lomibao treats her patients like real human beings with real problems. She takes the time to listen to you (even when it meant listening to my decade's long medical history). She asks great follow-up questions. Most importantly, she's one of the first doctors I've had who actually empathizes with her patients. It's silly, but I cried after my first appointment with Dr. Lomibao. I've never had a rheumatologist say, "I'm worried about you." It's a breath of fresh air to have a doctor who is as concerned about my care as I am. On top of her amazing rapport, Dr. Lomibao has great training. She completed her internship at Long Island College Hospital SUNY Downstate (Brooklyn, NY); her internal medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital (Pittsburgh, PA); and her rheumatology fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine (Indianapolis, IN). She is also a member of the American College of Rheumatology. ****THE CARE PROVIDED**** I have psoriatic arthritis with psoriasis. I've seen a rheumatologist at UT Southwestern for the past four years. Over the past year, two of my fingers got really misshapen, my psoriasis returned, and I've had a lot of inflammation and pain. My last rheumatologist really didn't seem to care as my symptoms got worse. When I would ask for more aggressive treatment, my rheumatologist would ignore my requests. So I scoured the internet for reviews and found Dr. Lomibao. It has changed the course of my care for the better. Dr. Lomibao immediately ordered a full set of labs and x-rays. She taught me about my condition and how treatments can help. Unlike most doctors, Dr. Lomibao doesn't tell you what to do. She offers options and lets you decide. However, if you want her recommendation, she will provide it. Dr. Lomibao got me started on a new medication with promising results. Most importantly, she presented me with a more aggressive (but safe) dosing regimen that my previous rheumatologist would have never cared to offer. For the first time in my life, I feel like I actually have a rheumatologist who is fighting for my health. ****THE OFFICE & STAFF**** This office is Dr. Lomibao's re-envisioning of how a doctor's office should work, including the staff. Miranda is fantastic, friendly, and fast. Whenever I have a question, they get back to me within 24 hours. I've never had a billing or insurance issue, and my appointments are always right on time. You can read my review on Google about this office and I've been requesting my medical records and print out all the charges is a normal print out about the charges that they charge me and when I had done and they will not give it to me probably cause they didn't even inject the right Medical Botox for this condition I have so they're really giving me problems. I found two doctors that are way more cost-efficient for somebody with health without health insurance and I've repeatedly asked for my records and they act like they can't print out a statement of what I paid. I have asked about more than 30 days ago and legally they're supposed to give me my records, but they won't give them to me so I don't know what's wrong with this place. They probably didn't even know what they're doing. This place is horrible. They're unfriendly they're unorganized and they don't care. All they care about is money. I would not suggest this place to anyone. They fit me through more pain in agony than when I went in there, they embarrass me they humiliated me i and they're just all around terrible and I don't really ever go to the extent to write a review about somebody else unless they're this awful and these people are awful. After initial screening (over the phone) I was told I qualified for the study and an appointment was scheduled for May 3rd. I spent an hour completing paperwork, when I was FINALLY taken back - the nurse started asking questions, then I was asked about MY WEIGHT. Yes, MY WEIGHT. Only after a few moments, the nurse informed me I couldn't qualify because my BMI is too high. As discouraging as it was to hear, I was more angry that my time was wasted. If their staff is reading this, I still expect compensation for MY TIME. DO NOT GO HERE

We accepted nursing students to help for the needs in my husband health. The first one had an…read moreattitude, she did not like my husband making it difficult for her and us both, she became ill, and we accepted a second student. She was nicer and she did her duties that were written down for her. She came to work exhausted; I would go ahead of her and do things so she would not be asked to. We allowed her more time to do shopping as she had a very difficult time of it and would call and need extra help. She had a language barrier that at times was very hard to understand, making conversation unpleasant, and she would tell us she could not understand us. Victoria their supervisor was there to support them in all ways, you the client if reporting issues to her in my case were told that she would talk to them and that she did not want to have this conversation again. Lesson learned here for us is not to accept a student to work for you, their personal load just maybe too heavy for them to do a good job. Also, read the rating of a company before accepting their help.
