We were able to visit the day we called. Ask for Carrie! She spent over 2 hours with us. She's not about a hard sell, absolutely no pressure -- she really wants your family to be happy there. She truly understands what you are going through. This location was built in the late 1990s and I believe they are in the final stages of remodeling it. The drive up still feels outdated, BUT don't let that fool you. The apartments we saw were newly painted, updated bathroom, updated kitchenette and new hard wood floors. The main building is peaceful, spacious, and full of energy. A grand piano sits in the entry. There are all types of seating areas, for example there was a breakfast area, outside patio, small cozy chairs nestled around a tv (the news was on) and a full service dining room. Many residents stopped to say hello and expressed how much they enjoy living there (that was a huge plus for us!). TIP: They are pet friendly! In fact, they just built a beautiful new enclosed court yard. Bright green grass. Sitting areas too! So what does it cost? That's what you really want to know. When we visited they were running a special: 1 bedroom/ 1 bath, 3 meals a day, all utilities plus internet is included, all activities (no hidden fees), access to a washer and dryer (free), once a week light housekeeping/ trash pick up, 24/7 nurse on hand for evaluations, transportation services within a reasonable radius, concierge desk for miscellaneous requests and 24 hour security. We were quoted 1k. They also had larger apartments 2 bedroom/ 2 bath that were $1,700 a month. This community is called "Independent Living Plus" meaning you come and go independently but it includes amenities you get from an assisted living facilities. It's a pretty darn good deal!

All of the staff, especially Stephanie Duke and the executive director Robbie, have made us feel so welcome and at home. I've eaten two meals with my parents here and to see the looks on their faces when they actually like what they are eating plus have the ability for more flexible dining hours is just amazing. The staff has been incredibly responsive to inquiries, the lease was easy to read and the speed at which they have helped my parents be ready for their move in is amazing. I would strongly recommend anyone searching for senior independent living to take a tour at Lakeview!!!

Debbie Stalling is the "business director" at this location. Valentina Rico is one of 3 concierge that man the front desk. I worked here as a temp at this location. Wednesday August, 17 2022 there was a statement from Valentina Rico in the concierge report saying "A resident was found slumped over in his apartment by his son". After taking his dad to the hospital he told Ms. Rico that his dad was Covid +, no actions were taken. This aroused my suspicion as well as the safety of other co-workers and residents because of the daily close contact. After bringing this to Ms. Rico and Ms. Stallings attention the report was deleted from the system on Friday August 19, 2022. They told me it wasn't covid and it was some other medical related issue. Monday August, 22 2022 I received a call from a family memeber of yet another resident stating that her dad was rushed to the hospital over the weekend, he tested positive for covid as well. She also stated that we should make the residents and staff aware because of the individuals that dine in the dinning room (187 occupancy) and that participate in the daily activities. Again this was brought to Ms. Stallings attention no immediate actions were taken. After hearing this information i put on a mask. Ms. Stallings ask me to remove my mask because it could put the residents on alert. Ms. Stallings questioned me for trying to protect myself and others. Ms. Stallings informed me that she contacted "Staci" at corporate to see what protocol should be executed at that time. Ms. Stallings behavior as a ""Business Director" is highly questionable, being that she has a hard time performing her job duties that require moving away from the desk. It seems that everything was done to sweep this under the carpet. I have called corporate about this, Jessica wasn't much help. I spoke with Toni Howard, an HR Partner. This is very frustrating knowing whats at hand and they are responsible for all these seniors. The resident and co-workers have all been put at risk. These are people's parents here and your employees. Other things that have occurred here is for another audience.

Residents love to socialize with one another but feel as if that's no longer an option as they are being told when and where they are allowed to sit in the common areas. The new staff they've hired is not very friendly or nice to the residents. Sadly everyone is not cut out to work in senior communities and it shows. We visited dozens of sites on the internet, and drove to six places in the north Dallas area. The one place that jumped out to us was Parkview in Frisco. We have never been sorry that we chose this as our home. It is a an attractive facility, and the landscaping is beautiful. Parkview has several different floor plans and apartment sizes, but we chose a two bedroom, two bath apartment that meets our needs perfectly. It has a modern kitchen, large living/dining room and a comfortable balcony with a view. All utility expenses (except TV and phone) are included. Our maintenance needs are also included and fixed rapidly just by a phone call. But it is the friendly residents and serving staff that puts Parkview ahead of other retirement complexes. Smiles and hello's greet you in the hallways and warm conversations are the norm in the dining room. And by the way, the food and service iin our Embers Restaurant is first class, with a wide variety of selections and all prepared and served well. We love to take cruise vacations, and our life "aboard" Parkview is very much like that on a premium cruise ship: daily activities, entertainment, dining, etc. So if you are looking for a retirement place, you should come by Parkview in Frisco. We think you will like it . . . we certainly do. Bob M P.S. Here's a link to a website we publish highlighting life here at Parkview in Frisco: www.parkviewers.com

It seriously looks like a serene SPA with a Texas-twist - it's sooooo beautiful in every little detail and it's amazingly well thought through to help the residents thrive. It totally astonished me and still, I have a veeeery critical eye when it comes to living conditions and surroundings! :-D I definitely recommend this place! :-)

I solicited the help of the Carrollton Police and thankfully they brought her out. The police report is #2022082537 made on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. There were problems at AL from the very first day, and Mom's entire stay there was five weeks and three days, which in hindsight was five weeks and two days too long. Do not leave your loved one in the care of Autumn Leaves. The organization is corrupt from the top down. Two days prior to the kidnapping situation, the Healthcare Director of AL tried to have me arrested for criminal trespassing while I was sitting in my mother's room early in the morning to ensure Mom was allowed to sleep. I'm very grateful that the three policemen who arrived that day agreed that I had a legal right to be there and did not arrest me. What a nightmare!
