Shelly helped us to find an assisted living for my father in Tarrant County and a year later, she helped us secure an Independent living facility for my Mom in Dallas County. I was transferred to the an admission person to talk to they were more helpful. If someone is trying to reach the building to get information about having their loved one stay there not picking up the phone is not a good look, but picking up the phone and having an attitude is unacceptable.

They are so short staff I don't even think it's legal. The management does not care at all about the safety or well being of the residents or they would take action to stop the neglect going on in the facility. A lot of times they work with 1 CNA for 40 residents and that is no way sufficient. The CNAs can't do their job properly because they are short on linen and towels and it takes forever to come back from laundry. I pray for the residents there now that their families can advocate for them and get them out of there or get things taken care of at the facility. I have never in my life seen a facility so horrible.

Enter Jerry and Diana. They found a quality nursing home close to my residence in Allen & also in compliance with Texas guidelines they were able to protect their hard earned assets. They've supported me & my family for many years and have been in my corner since Day 1. Diana and Jerry are great to work with. Both are professional and personable. Their preparedness for handling stressful situations put me at ease even during times when I was caught off guard by Medicaid's paperwork. I didn't always return the required paperwork in a timely manner, but no fret, Diana and Jerry were still able to get both my parents approved. They easily got my mom renewed/approved for Medicaid for 11 consecutive years & until her passing in November 2019. They also took on my dad's case as he transitioned into a nursing home too and I was grateful for that as well. Even after his passing in January Diana followed up to help me settle up with Medicaid & make sure there wouldn't be any issues going forward.

The staff and management at the facility was very understanding and helpful in assisting us during this transition. While she was at Atria-Carrollton we enjoyed the level of care and work of the staff to keep her engaged and active. This facility not only welcomed and cared for the resident but worked to keep the family informed and up to date. It was always a treat to be greeted by Margarita at the front desk.
