I came in for a slow tire leak. Technician noted the tires were below safe driving tread wear, which I had suspected. Bought four new tires. When I got home I discovered one of the stems had a leak. The service manager personally came out to my home to retrieve the tire, fix the stem, and return it. He then checked all the other stems to ensure they were good. Above and beyond service. Got really poor service here at this store, on Dec 1, 2022. Some employee really messed up. I came to this store because my neighbor's mechanic said my tires were so bad, he would not let me leave his shop, cos he is liable if I got into accident and killed someone, he would be liable cos he told me my tires wee that bad, and he still let me drive on them.. But he let me come to this store to get new tires, because it was only 3 miles fromhis shop, on local roads. So I got two Discount Tire house brand tires on the back, and this store put the older ones on the frront. I drove my car to La Jolla that night, Then next day I drove it to Temecua and spent the night at a vacation rental. The next morning, I was shocked to seee BOTH my front tires were so deflated, they wre almost flat on he ground. I also noticed that both my wheel covers had fallen off, on those same front tires. I drove to the nearest DiscountTire (America's Tires in Temecula), but this was already 3:30 pm. Temecula store documented in my recxord that the two front tires had only 18 lbs of pressere in them, when it was supposed to be 36., and he wheel covers were missing. After wating 1 hour at that store to check if both tires had nails in them, I asked how much longer, cos it was almost 5 pm. He said there are still 4 cars in front of me. I left. I blew my errand and shopping time waiting. I called the Santee store and told Mike the manager what happened. I purchased on ebay replacemenht wheel covers and I had to drive the 25 miles back to the Santee store for them to reimburse me $40 for the wheel covers from their cash regisiter. . Mike could not explain why my front tires had so little pressure in them, only 18 psi, vs 36. I said I wanted compensation for my trouble , including having to wait for nothing at the Temecula store, as a result. I said I was about to purchse 4 new tires at the Scottsdale Discount Tire and I wanted a discount extended there . Mike the Santee manager said he would take care of me, when I got to Scottsdale. Well, now at Scottsdale store, I spent $ 612 there for supposed to be 4 tires. Bu when Scottsdale called Santee store, Mike would only extend $10 per tire "discount". I thought that was so little! The Scottsdale empoyee seemed to agree $ 40 was not very much . So he increased the discount to a free 5th tire,worth $125 which was $85 MORE than the $40 Mike was giving me. My truck is a dually wheel and uses 7 tires including the spare, so I needed he 5th tire. So the $40 and the fact that their tech only inflated my front tires to half the pressure they were supposed to be at, and did not secure my hubcaps so I lost them, I am giving this store only 1 star. Although they did reimburse me for buying new hubcaps, it wasn't enough after the $40 "discount" for $612 to raise review to two stars for buying me new hubcps. I liked my old hubcaps. I am going to update the Scottsdale Store review and give them another 5 star update. read more

I went there this morning and was "helped" by a young lady named Elizabeth ( I think) short, brown hair, braces . From the start, she was lacking any all customer service skills. It's very rude and short when asking questions. I asked her about the speed rating on the tires, and she flipped her screen to me and quickly scrolled down the page faster than I could even read it. I almost adked her if she was upset or something because I felt so uncomfortable even talking to her. I actually just left that store and went to the El cajon branch. If im spending that kind of money, I'd rather do it somewhere I felt welcome. The people at the El cajon store were amazing. I tried to make an appointment to get my tires rotated and balanced and they said they were booked up three days in advance but I could drive in and do a walk in dropped off my car at 12 and picked it up at one they even fixed a flat that I didn't know about I had a nail in my tire out the door 40 bucks in an hour pretty cool! My husband pre-ordered/purchased the tires ahead of time and made an appointment for this coming Friday to get them installed. The tires came in so fast and were ready for installation yesterday (Monday). We were told that if we came in any time before our Friday appointment, they would prioritize our service due to the pre-existing reservation and it would take about 45 minutes. Boy did this team deliver. I showed up about 9min before opening and checked in on the QR code. I was immediately called in when the doors opened. No issues at all with the reservation situation. The tires were put on and my car was ready to go in about 35min. Went here with a tire pressure sensor error and thought they needed to be replaced. Autozone said the sensors may need to be replaced if still giving an error with full tires. Discount Tire checked the code and stated they only needed to be recalibrated. Filled up my tires, recalibrated the sensors and out the door with no charge. Anthony at the fill station, and the rep I first worked with, were knowledgeable, friendly and all around great. They earned a lot of trust with this one and I'll be back when I need new tires, regardless if better deals elsewhere. read more

There are few tire companies that even come close to the customer service experience. Briefly we had 2 tires that were flat on the passenger side of our Hyundai. I got there just a little after they opened at 8 a.m. they got me checked in,... tires fixed one replaced the other repaired,.. rotated the tires a d i was out by 9:30 a.m. i cannot recommend anyone better for fixing tires. Today the showed why I keep coming back to them. We were on our way to our college finals when our tire started to make a weird sound. Upon further we found a huge screw / bolt in there. We went straight to discount and told them what we found. We also explained that we needed to be in San Marcos in less than an hour and a half. They are always are quick and get my air filled right away and are always friendly. I knew I needed new front tires for a while but I have been ignoring it because I hardly drive anywhere right now. Recently I've had new tires installed and it only took about 20-30 minutes before I was back on the road. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with discount tire, I've been using them for almost a decade and never had an issue until I used this location on mission gorge road in santee. My cousin took my truck in for me because I couldn't get off work, when I got home I test drove it to find that I had steering wheel wobble.... I tried to get them to fix it as they charged me for a service they did not complete and they said I'd have to pay again.... I came back a few weeks later after I had gone to a different shop to get my wheel PROPERLY balanced to get a refund and they hassled me over that, eventually after going through three people I finally got the refund. Also, the shop I went to said they used the wrong type of weight "aluminum on a steel wheel" and the wheel was off balance by 2 ounces. Discount tire.... The reason for my 4-star review is that one of the employees gave my sister an uful service. we purchased blk Friday sale tires for two cars. I made an appointment when we got to the store she was told the tires have been discontinued, and no one called us or sends us an email we paid for 45,000 mile tire and the guy wanted to give her 40,000 mile tire for the same price, when she refused she told me what had happen . The employee did not bother to give her a discount or ask the manager if they could upgrade for 45,000 to 50 or something to keep her happy. He would rather lose a sale and a bad review he didn't seem to care at all I was very disappointed ,I ask to speak to one of the managers Stephen he was very helpful he upgraded her tires ,and apologized, and gave her 40 dlls discount. A couple things here. One they were not fully upfront with the costs. They made it sound like the warranty was included and not extra. Secondly, I came here at about 3pm. Needed a full set. They informed be it would be done at 5:15pm. Waited and walked around a bit. I noticed people were leaving and one guy just grabbed his keys. Then at 5:20pm my car was still unmoved on parking lot. I went to leave the house yesterday and found a tire was flat. I had Audi roadside assistance put the spare on for me and headed into discount tire without an appointment late in the day. (They were busy). There was a nail right in the middle of the tread of the tire, I threw it in the trunk. My tread was lowish and I assumed they were going to reject me and make me buy 4 new tires.
