I've used discount tire everywhere I go. I'm never disappointed in. This was no exception. Was driving late at night (heading from Colorado to California to see my son graduate college ) when I hit a rock and caused a flat. I got towed to discount tire and slept the night, waiting for them to open as I was on a long road trip. Corey, the manager came out way before they opened as he saw my car and started asking me what happened. From there he took care of everything. Even getting the tiring needed from a different location. They got me changed out and back on the road again! The entire team was super professional and really nice. Discount Tire on North Avenue is really a poor location to do business with. I went in, with an appointment scheduled for an alignment check and spin balance, only to find out after a hour and a half, that walk-in customers take priority on alignments!?! When I arrived, there was only one customer there, but more and more people kept walking in and they kept putting people in front if me. I finally told Derek - who was more concerned with trying to sell me new tires which I didn't need - that I wanted my keys and I left. Would give 0 stars if I could. I have visited 3 separate times in an attempt to get an alignment. Every time I waited for over 3 hours (truly no exaggeration) and was continually told I was "up next!" For over half of the time that I waited. Can't make appointments, can't give partially refunded prices for the amount of time that was wasted. And yes, I did go in first thing in the morning to try to beat the crowds. I have wasted over 12 hours trying to get my tires aligned over the course of several weeks. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other tire store. Boooooo read more

They took care of a tire repair and rotation in less than an hour, even being busy. And they charged nothing! the dealer wanted $50.00. There was a short line when I arrived but every person got taken care of presonally, professionally by a very friendly and helpful group. Drove over the Rockies with a screw in my truck's tire. Had to wait for the shop to open in the morning ,and they took care of my problem right away. Armando was the tire tech who helped me, and he was great. The screw actually didn't go all the way through to the inside of the tire, but another employing jamming an awl into the hole where the screw was ended up causing a leak. A very, very, VERY slow leak. Armando had to go through the entire tire repair process twice (fixing the mini-pin-hole leak the second time). I really appreciate his hard work, attention to detail, and willingness to make sure the job is done 100% correctly. My total cost: $0.00. Seriously. On fact, when I was parking the car, the guys in the shop area smiled and said hello. Very friendly service. You know, when you go into some places and they're pretty pushy about selling to make their commission, etcetera? I didn't feel this way at Discount tires. Alberto understood my budget, and had no judgment. After looking at my old tires, he asked me questions about what I thought of them. Did they drive okay or to my liking, handle well in weather (of which we have plenty), did I feel safe driving on them, and so on. I appreciated his confidence in the tires...all of them. He had info on other tires they offer and never pushed any on me based on price. That's pretty cool. There were about half a dozen people waiting for their tire services. I'd say they were moderately busy. I was told it'd be a 45 minute wait. Ended up being 30 minutes exactly. I was expecting to pay much more than I did. Poor customer service. Had an appointment scheduled for new tires to be installed which I was on time for. When I came in there was one technician on the phone and he carried his conversation on for 10 minutes without ever acknowledging me. Several other technicians came in and out and none acknowledged me. Another person came in and stood in line. The office door was open and there was a technician sitting there, but he got up and shut the door not acknowledging me either. Finally the one on the phone put his caller on hold and called someone to help me. There is no excuse for at least acknowledging a customer. read more

I stopped-in here while on a road trip through the area. I had some time to kill in-town and realized that my truck was over-due for a tire rotation. I stopped-in here and Robbie took care of me right away. He was friendly (as were all the staff members who I saw working in the store when I was there) and didn't balk at all when he saw that the tires I needed to have rotated were beefy 35's mounted on a lifted Silverado. There was no up-selling (I previously bought the tires from a Discount Tire store in So.Cal. so the rotation and balancing was covered under the tire warranty so there was no charge). He estimated that it would take an hour (they were busy) but my truck and I were back on the road in 45 minutes. I just want to say I am from Dallas Texas and on a Monday around noon got in my truck to go for a hike to find out I had a low tire. Got air in it and drove it to Discount Tire and of course there is a hour and a half wait it's a Monday. So I told them I would take the tire off and leave it so we can still go on hour hike there is 14 cars in front of us.
