I limped into their facility after realizing I had a slow leak in my tire. The doughnut was not an option being 200 miles away and the manager found me a compatible tire at a local supply house. They were shorthanded, and the manager and the tech both went out of their way to get me back in the road less in than 90 minutes. in addition, I found their pricing very reasonable as I was obviously at their mercy. Called Sunday 7-21-24 and spoke with Justin, needing just a simple flat tire repair was told 2 hours so i ran it down and dropped it off. well long story short 5 hours later i showed up and they still haven't touched the tire at all. Looks like i have a firestone credit card that i will NEVER use, and 3 vehichles that are coming up on needing new tires ( was going to do all three at once with the no interest plan). I will make sure all 3 of the vehicles get tires somewhere else (everyone offers credit card promos for no interest). Justin knew I have been looking at tires as that was one discussion we had at the beginning as he even showed me some tread patters for all terrains when i first stopped in to drop the tire off. when I picked it up 5 hrs later his attitude was like he didn't care one bit. Firestone you lost a customer if you guys cant tackle a simple tire repair I will never trust you for anything more major than that. don't worry though another place got the problem fixed in about 20 mins for me. I walked in today hoping to make an appointment to have my tires filled with air. The amazing young mechanic (with the hiccups) was so accommodating! She had me pull right up to bay 1 and even showed me the area on my car that lists specific tire sizes, rim sizes and psi protocols, and explained it! She walked me through each tire check and topped off each tire with air as well. Another mechanic came over and chatted with us during the process, so friendly! Turns out, I had a screw stuck in my back left tire! She showed me how using soapy water in a spray bottle is awesome when checking for air leaks. So cool! She repaired that flat tire so quickly too! Firestone has serviced my car for the 7 years that I have lived in the Grand Valley. 2 years ago I was told I needed a new battery. I tested it with my personal battery tester & it was fine. I finally replaced it this year, just due to its age despite that it still tested well. I scheduled an appointment last week for a tire rotation & oil change. I did not wait for it there, but asked how much time it would take & was told 2 hours. I had arranged for a friend to give me a ride home & back. 3 hours later, I went to pick it up & it was just at that moment that they were taking it in for the shop for the work to be done! Very friendly, honest, fair, and quick service. Could not have better things to say. My experience here honestly made me a Firestone Complete Auto Care customer for life. In the middle of a cross-country road trip, I hit a chunk of asphalt that completely mangled the splash shield underneath my car.. causing me to limp 200 miles from middle of nowhere Utah to Grand Junction. I first tried going to the Grand Junction Honda Service Center, who were unapologetically unhelpful and seemed almost annoyed I asked for help. The guy there wouldn't even come out to look at my car and just shrugged his shoulders. I was desperate. I called Firestone and Megan answered and immediately made me feel at ease and that I would be taken care of. I came in the next morning, and in less than an hour after dropping off my car I was back on the road again. The 2 gentlemen (I didn't get their names) who helped me were incredibly honest, kind, knowledgable, and clearly want the best for their customers. I've never had a better experience at an auto shop. I regularly use Firestone back in Denver, because I like the quality and variety of services along with their pricing and hours. Even though I use Firestone all the time, I've never had a tech come out and talk to me and explain the issue. Then, actually bring me out in the shop an SHOW me the issue. That was huge. This store is well staffed, intelligent, helpful, and friendly. Being out here on the Western slope in Cedaredge for short time period; I was having a hard time finding anyone open on the weekend to take a look at my car. Most places are M-F 9-5...the exact times I work and cannot get in. So I chose to make the drive out to GJ early on Saturday and I'm glad I did! Jeff was amazing! We are a touring band (KOLARS) and our tire blew out about 10 miles from this spot. It was on Labor Day! This was the only place open and they said if we got there by 5 they could help us out. We got there about 1/4 to and we were out of there in just under an hr with alignment and two new tires!!! He hooked us up with a solid rate and gave us the full rundown. Wish we always came across this kind of customer service. Called Firestone -they had the battery needed and could take us in. Megan at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. She was excellent. They took us right in and we were out quickly. I was driving cross country from California to Wisconsin, when i noticed that the car would shake when I applied the brakes. I've had this problem before, and I knew it was the rotors. I had taken my car to another place on a Saturday, and after they assured me there was nothing wrong, I resumed my drive, and continued to have issues. Luckily for me, Firestone was open on a Sunday. My sister had called while we were driving on Saturday, told them about our situation, and even though they were fully booked (only place open on a Sunday), we were told to come in as soon as they opened so they could have a look. We got there when they opened, and were told they would work on my car as soon as they could, but it could be somewhat of a wait. Luckily for us, they work quickly, and my car was ready to go in about 2 hours! The people working there are very friendly, and I feel like I was charged fairly.
