After spending $1540 on a new set of tires in Richfield, UT we were losing air fast in one of them about 100 miles out. We ended up changing it out for the spare to limp us along to Grand Junction. The manager at the Big O tire on Grand Junction was great! The valve stem didn't get replaced when the new tires were put on in Richfield. They got us in and out right away and now we can head to Lakewood with confidence in our new tires. No charge. read more

Multiple complaints: Filled up left driver side tire to 97 P.S.I And passenger to 72 P.S.I both way other what my actual P.S.I should be, got on the interstate started fish tailing before I had to pull over check my tire psi lower it to the proper amount of air A service I thought I had paid for but was mistaken. Giving another chance I purchased two more tire and had them mounted by the big o crew. I woke the next morning to one of my brand new tires flat. Concerning me I put air in the tire and brought it back to big o. When I got there they took the tire of and found a hole approximately the size of a pen head which they offered to get welded for me never giving and explanation just offer to get it welded for free. About five or six months later the weld fails on me while driving down the interstate causing front end to shake causing me to pull of the interstate for another time because the air was getting released on rim with a failed weld. Took it back to the shop on north to see what they can do anything about this and they said I could pay 75$ to have all metals re weld their failed weld. The lack of accountability on shop guys and sells man shocks me. read more

Friendly and efficient. We had a slow air leak in our tire due to a stuck nail we picked up on our way from IL to CO. We called in the morning Matt answered and told us to bring the tire in. Getting there we were greeted even before entering the shop by one of the mechanics. He took the tire in and fixed it in less than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend. read more

Was a walk in on a Thursday morning(today) for an oil change. I was told with the tire rotation and alignment check included it would be around an hour and 10 minutes. Given the current state of things they had the waiting room blocked off so you can leave or wait outside. Understandable, no problem. Over an hour and a half of standing right outside of their building I walk around back to check on my car and see it parked outside. I go in and ask if it's done, first they tell me they're still waiting on the alignment check, then that changes to it's done, we tried calling you. Confirmed the phone number given I had my phone in my hand the entire time and didn't receive a call or voice message of any kind....they had the right number, I'm going to guess no one actually called. Not to mention I'm standing on the other side of glass....I guess stepping outside to see if I was waiting for something in particular wasn't in their ability either so I was left waiting for who knows how long for no reason. Then I get in my car and drive away when I realize three of my tires still need air. How are you going to do a tire rotation and alignment check without putting the right amount of air in??? Everyone I spoke with was friendly but they are clearly unorganized and need to get their act together. What a mess!! read more

Took car for brakes was charged 400 to do brakes. Still squeeking. They will not stand behind their work. They are now saying they replaced the front brakes when receipt said they replaced back brakes. Frauds!! Now there is red paint all over the side of the car. We were driving through town on a road trip from WI to CA. We realized one of the tires on our trailer was separating and needed to be changed ASAP. Had to drive 3 hours to get to Grand Junction so I got onto the Big O website and set an appointment to be sure I could get in in a timely matter as I had to drive three hours back home. I also wanted to be certain they would have the tires I needed in stock. The website said they had two available. I received an approval for the appointment at 1pm Saturday the 29th of June. When I got there I was not on the appointment board, They had no record of me (even though I had the approval receipt on my phone) and they did not have the tires I needed in stock and could not get any until Monday. No more Big O tire for me. Went down the road to Discount tire and had two mounted right away. costs a few dollars more but worth it. read more

I just had a great experience. At stoplight car next to me told me I had a flat. Pulled through the light into the Big O. They took the car right away, and in 20 minutes had a hole plugged and ready to drive away. With no cost. For new tires will definitely go here, even though it is out of my way. Had to buy a new tire and asked them to check my brakes. They said rear roters needed replaced as well as brake pads and the quote I got was $380 ish which I felt was over priced. I bought the brakes myself for $40 and went to a local mechanic who replaced the brake pads and said the roters were fine and I paid him $40 for the labor. I most definitely would never recommend anyone getting their brakes replaced here unless you like over paying!! read more

Went to take a new car in. They took it right away. Only to wait 4 hours before even checking it out. I just needed a quick "this is why your check engine light is on" thing. But apparently they can't tell you that the car is was behind. And then it takes 2 more hours for them to tell you that a fan (that my dad saw first and wanted them to check out) wasn't spinning. Thanks for the obvious. But overall crap experience because it took 6 hours for them to tell me the same thing that my dad could. read more

I called to check availability and pricing for some Nitto tires. The guy said he would call me back in ten minutes. After I didn't hear from him in over an hour I called him back, but he still hadn't found out anything. When I called a third time he had a price so I told him to go ahead and order them, but I guess he forgot, because when I showed up two days later to have them installed, nobody knew anything. I got the old "Who did you talk to?" routine. I ended up going to R&R and got them the same day for about $25 less per tire. read more

We were broke down on the side of I-70 somewhere between Utah and Colorado. We are from California and we're moving our son to Colorado. We had a truck full of furniture and were towing a vehicle on a car dolly. Our radiator blew and we were stuck! Dan's towing took us into Grand Junction to BigO. The guys at BigO took us right into a bay, knowing we were really in a pickle. Skyler greeted us and asked where we were from and to our surprise he graduated from the same high school as we did in Southern California! That's when we knew it was going to be ok! We were sure other things were broken like the head gasket and also we thought our battery might be done. They checked everything and were totally honest with us out of towners and only replaced the hose and reservoir and 6 gallons of antifreeze too! It all happened so fast! I didn't know parts could be delivered that fast! We were in and done in about 45 minutes. They were so kind! Honest and good! Thanks BigO! read more

I was traveling with my daughter from Fort Collins, CO towards home when my daughter informed me that she noticed a nail in one of her tires. I told her we needed to get it fix asap as I didn't want to take any chances of having a blow out or getting stuck in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire. I called Big O Tires and they informed me that they could do the repair. We arrived several hours later and dropped her car off. We walked down the street to grab some lunch thinking it might take awhile to do the repair. I got a call before we finished our lunch informing me that the car was ready for pick up. We were completely surprised when we went to pay and were told that the repair was "no charge". I am truly grateful to the staff of Big O Tires for getting us back home safely. Decent service but don't go if you don't have three hours to spare. Went for an alignment I was the first costumer of the day, took them two hours to get me on to the lift.... And another hour to finish the job. They usually do a good job but they are slow and pricey. read more

On Friday 12/27 ,I took my car into The 2894 N. ave Grand Junction location , for a "engine light on" was told 2 Upstream Oxygen Sensors were needed and 1 Downstream sensor was needed , when I received the invoice , I checked the part number on the invoice DEN 234-9009 & Bos 13338, then called O'reilly auto parts, where Big O had claimed that they had to pay $308.99 for each upstream sensor , O'reilly auto said that they sell the upstream sensors for $181.00 each , the DownStream sensor BOS 13338 is Priced at $80 , BIG O Charged me $220 for the Downstream sensor , now when I called the manager Dave , or Michael Burke , I spoke with Dave who hung the phone up on me , then I called back, and Asked for The number or E-mail address , i was refused the the phone number , then given a mumbled E-mail address , Is this how BIg O Tires does business ? so i got charged $308.99 for a $181.00 part ,Is Big O Tires Ripping People off or is Dave at 2894 N. DIDN'T TIGHTEN THE LUG NUTS AFTER PERFORMING A SIMPLE TIRE REPLACEMENT. CAUSED ALL SORTS OF DAMAGE TO MY TRUCK. They had my truck for five days to fix the damage they caused. Then lied about my ball joints being damaged and then didn't replace them and then gave me my truck back after five days in an unsafe condition AGAIN. THEN after not completing the repairs they assured they would, they had the audacity to ask me for $600 to finish the job. Had to go to the Better Business Bureau because they're corporate executives won't call you back. read more

I was in town from Denver for a trip, and I got a nail in one of my tires. I made it to Big O Tires about 10 minutes before they closed on Saturday, and they were cool enough to pull my car in and patch the tire immediately. Customers, After calling and speaking with "Matt" finding out that they could get me right in for a tire spin balance and rotate, ( my wife) purchased the tires their. I waited 10 minutes for "Matt" to help me. Matt walk off, 5 minutes later Matt help me saying it would be 45 minutes, no later, and I would be out the door. 45 minutes later I approached Matt who said, "Now 4:15pm", OK?, whats 4:15" Matt says, "now 4:15". It is already 4:15. Matt says "we'll"ll get you in at 4:15". DUHH!!! I then ask, where is the car? We walked out back, the car is setting in line. The car has been setting out back the whole time!! Matt" had plenty of time to share with any delay me thru out the hour I waited - Matt was 10' away the whole time. "Matt" lied over the phone and worse lied face to face. OK, so here it is. Lousy companies hire lousy employees and provide lousy services. They do not give one sh-t that a customer walks away. Expect very little from this location. Zero apologies for this review. WORST SERVICE EVER!! I left two rims overnight all they had to do was mount and balance two tires, I called the next afternoon to confirm the work had been done. I was told they were ready, told them I'd be in at 5 to pick them up. I get there at five, had to wait 30 minutes just to find out they had not even mounted the tires yet. I asked for the manager, only to have David deny that he was the manager (he said he was an assistant manager) though his business cards sitting on the counter noted him as the Service Manager, he told me "sorry" he would talk to his employees. NEVER EVER will I take another tire to this BIG O, when a manager doesn't even have the Nerve to accept responsibility for their employees actions, I want nothing to do with them, from a Manager of over 15 years, your job dude is to take responsibility for your employees, not deny that you're a manager!!
