Very pleased with the way they handled their business today, I called them and asked if they would be there i had a hole in a tire and was going to be after 5 pm before I could get there, I showed up about 5 minutes late, said they could not repair my tire because it had two holes to close together, and for liablity reasons they can't fix it. They did not have the tire I needed, and could not get the tire I needed til Monday. they couldn't install my spare either as it was the original 2006 spare. We were on a vacation trip 350 miles from home, and I'm am now 25 miles from my family on a Saturday evening, they are at the RV. so I start to put the spare on my self since I really don't have any other options at this point. the manager came out and asked my to stop he did not think it was safe to use, that he was going to give me a new class E tire (10 ply tire for my dually) , it was a smaller size then I needed but would get me through) til I can get the right tire. They put it on my spare tire rim and installed it and did not charge me anything. Thank you Discount tire in Bee Cave Texas. read more

I have a service contract with them for road hazards, etc. and needed a rotation and flat repair. I called ahead to ask about the wait, mentioning that I was ten minutes away. I was told no problem as there were only five people ahead of me. Two hours after arrival I drove out. Tire pressures were off but, per the owner's manual, I drove a few miles to see what my TPMS indicated. After five miles at 55 mph, from front-left to rear-right they read 38, 41, 43, and 39 respectively. Apparently they didn't bother to check them for me after rotation. I'll be returning for similar service, but when these tires reach the end of their useable lifetime, I won't be back. Discount is not what it was a mere ten years ago. read more

On Monday at around 1:00pm it was very busy, I can see why; these folks are pros with their customer service. The wait time was a bit but despite that they had the store manager assigned to my vehicle. They were helpful with giving me knowledge in the decision of choosing tire type and brand and the difference between them, the technicians were friendly and hard working. Unless you bought your tires there with their protection plan, they will tell you every single time that your tire cannot be fixed. We have shown up several times, due to convenience, and only needed a nail pulled out of the tire. Every time they tried to sell us new tires trying to convince us that our slow leak was not fixable. I'm here for routine rotation and balance and, as always, an having no issues at all. I arrived just before my appointment time, checked in and while hanging out inside during pouring rain, overheard a bit of a problem at the counter. Seems another customer had some problem and was starting to raise her voice that she had "never paid for this before". Now I have no clue what her issue was, but I did observe three of the staff each go over to her and tell her "sure we will fix it no charge, we're just busy and it may take awhile". She finally seemed to understand and I guess they'll work on her issue soon. But I was impressed with the staff's attention and level tone and demeanor while helping her out. I guess if I ever have a problem they'll be cool handling that too. I'll keep coming to this location. read more

I brought two cars in today , one for new tires the other for a rotation. After the new tires were installed I noticed a noise while leaving the store. Brought it back and the staff determined that there had been some damage to a rotor while removing the lugs. Mike the Manager went above and beyond to make the repairs no questions asked. I had a slow leak in a tire and had Lexus check it out during a service appointment. They said it could not be repaired and wanted $330 to replace it. Discount Tire had the tire for $260, so I decided to take it there. When I arrived, they checked it out and were confident (but not certain) it could be repaired. "You only have 11,000 miles on your car, I would hate to have you buy a new tire if we can repair it." Well - they did repair it - FOR FREE! Very courteous and professional. In a world where good service is difficult to find, these guys were top-notch. They had every reason NOT to repair my tire; instead they did what was "right" and I'm forever grateful. We are from out of town , just glad that we found a discount tire 11 miles away from we were vacationing. We waited more than 4 hours to have our flat tire repaired as recommended. My 2018 Avalon with less than 22,000 miles on it was damaged at Discount Tire. I take very good care of my car. My mother passed 8/25/19. I inherited this beautiful vehicle. I brought it in to have the right rear tire replaced. During the time they drove it in and had me drive it out, they must of put a heavy machine part on the hood that caused a dent. Both my assistant and myself noticed it right away. I asked what happened. No one would answer me. I watched closely how they change out tires and noticed how much pressure the employees are under to hurry up. The equipment used are long heavy tools powered with air pressure attached to huge black hoses. My hood had markings of black rubber scuffs and a dent. The manager denied that their employees could ever accidentally cause this damage. Went on to tell me I hit something. Not the case. Their insurance company paid out 300. And said this payment isn't for causing damage to your car. It's for being a great customer?!? read more

Finding a place trustworthy and reliable is very difficult now a days, but this place is different. Customer care is A1, they officially got a guest from me for a lifetime. Got in right as they opened by 8am and left by 8:45am which i was told would take roughly 40mins. Felt very intimidated by the line at first waiting outside with 8 people ahead thinking id be here for 2+ hours that can of course ruin anyones morning/day off. However service with replacing the nail in my flat tire was quick, easy and efficient. My girlfriend had replaced these tires 3months ago and fortunately paid the extra $10 or $15 of warranty that would repair/replace without having to pay full price. Not to mention, it wasn't even necessary for me to pull out my wallet at all within my visit. Still in shocked that I was still able to enjoy my morning even when i had to make this pit stop. Brandin was the gentleman who helped me out, but regardless I believe in their whole team that they work as hard and is friendly as he is. If you call around the area, you can get them mounted and balanced for 100+tax out the door. Do your homework and you'll save some major coin. I've been to this store 3 times in the past year to replace (eventually) all the tires on my Jetta. You can tell they're working hard for their customers. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Long story short, I was having issues with road noise and had my car at an autoshop for more time than I wanted. The autoshop wouldn't do anything (under warranty) until I replaced my tires. Once I got it back and took it to Discount they were understanding and empathetic to my situation. Having purchased so many tires with them, the manager was kind enough to only charge me a replacement fee for one of two new tires purchased that day. This week I bought a new set of tires for my 1 1/2 year old Audi A6. After the tires were mounted I noticed scratches on 3 of the 4 rims. When I brought this to the attention of the store representative he brought the store manager over to take a look. His response was that the scratches were not caused by the mounting process and he would not take responsibility for the damage. I'm very upset because I take great care of my automobiles. I purchased a set of four All-Terrain tires for my SUV at this location after using Discount Tires great online resource that not only shows reviews of tires but you can also lock in a price by either purchasing the tires online for installation at one of their shops, or by printing a quote and taking it in. The price on these tires was amazing. $50 less PER TIRE than any other tire retailer. I called the Bee Cave location, made an appointment and had the tires quickly installed by them. The staff was extremely helpful, the environment very clean and comfortable. After I got home, I went to fill out Discount Tires online survey about my great experience; but, I did notice on my receipt that the price was actually $11 higher than quoted. So, I commented on that in the survey. Two days later I received a call from the manager at Bee Cave apologizing for the error and asking me if I could stop by, at my convenience, and they would refund the difference. I made it in about a week later, received another apology and a logical explanation that the price had gone up in the computer, but it was their error for not catching it at the time of installation. They promptly refunded my money in cash (that surprised me...I figured it would probably just be store credit!) at almost double the actual amount - "for any inconvenience that I may have experienced." That was definitely not something I expected nor asked for. I was very impressed. I can highly recommend the Bee Cave location and their great staff with full confidence. I had a great experience that got bad, then great again. I bought 2 new tires from this Discount Tire because I've bought several tires from them. I recently moved to Dripping Springs but had a slow leak. I went to DT and together we decided my tires were getting pretty bald that it was time for 2 new tires. I got a great price and 2 new tires. The next day one of my new tires was flat. Ugh, painful. I'm living in the country now and park on a dirt/gravel road. It was not fun changing this tire. I took it back to DT and told them what happened. They were profusely apologetic and said the stem had been install incorrectly. "Wait, what?" They acknowledged making a mistake? Unheard of! Then the manager Mike asked me if they could comp one of the tires to make it right. Not only did they immediately fix the problem and admitted it was their mistake but they also comped a tire! Wow!
