I took my 2007 Honda Odyssey to Qualtech to have the middle-row driver-side seat repaired. The seat had been completely folded down by my cousin's kids and would no longer fold back up properly. The team inspected and diagnosed the issue and explained that the part responsible for keeping the seat upright was broken and, unfortunately, no longer available. What really impressed me was that they didn't charge me anything for the diagnostic service. That genuinely surprised me and increased my respect and trust in this company. Very disappointed in the service paid almost 1400 for my 70000 mile service and after my return the car on the warning lights says MALFUNCTION on my mercedes benz 2007. Car is excellant shape new tires. I went by the reviews and saw positive but in my case I felt I was not treated well. My car never said malfunction before I took it in to Qualtech after the service I drove it 12 miles then it appeared. The owner said it wasnt what they did. To make matters worse they damaged my hood with a scratch to boot. They are very busy waiting is crazy. I will continue to see why they felt it wasnt there problem. Never had any problems with this car they did fix the car going up and down. Which was alot of money. They did do my other vehicle with was inspections only. I feel they took my car in to find the problem but then said do a screen shot which I will send to them see what they plan to do. read more

I have been previously there and had another guy and he was nice and pleasant. I didn't feel very welcome to be honest. Got an oil change here - really great, fast service! The whole change with tire rotation was done in about 25 minutes. Make an appointment online, super easy. Also, they have plastic screens to limit exposure to the employees, so that's really great to see. You can wait inside if you like, although I'm personally a little iffy about staying indoors with strangers these days. read more

If you don't shop around they are going to rip you off. They quoted battery replacement $338+tax. After mentioning AAA battery price, immediately dropped the price to $187. Otherwise rip off? I am surprised of so many positive reviews! In which world a battery negative cable (spare part, not including harness and labor) costs $110. I still paid because I originally agreed to pay. This is a tough review to write as we know and respect the owner of Qualtech. We have taken our vehicles to Qualtech on 71 for close to a decade, and historically we've had great service. A few years ago there were some competency issues when they serviced our BMW, and afterwards we decided to take that vehicle to someplace that specialized in foreign cars. Recently we took our Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an intermittent electrical problem with the headlights. Qualtech was able to resolve that problem, but needed to take the front bumper off to replace the headlights. Upon picking up the car, we discovered that we had a warning message on screen indicating an ACC/FCW failure. In addition, the audible back up warning no longer worked, both headlights pointed at oncoming traffic, the front fender was scratched and both fender trim strips were pulled away from the body. We called Qualtech and they indicated that the error message and the headlight alignment issues were likely caused by the front sensor that is mounted in/behind the bumper that they had removed and something during the removal and reinstallation had caused a problem with the sensor. They indicated that they did not have the tools necessary to calibrate that sensor, but that they would take it to Jeep to have the calibration done. They agreed to take care of the fender trim and the bumper scratches as they agreed that damage was done at the shop. Upon inspection, Jeep indicated that the sensor behind the drivers rear view mirror needed replacement and the cost would be $1,500. Qualtech asserted that they hadn't touched that sensor and therefore they would not be responsible. Their position was that they were responsible for things they damaged, but not things that "failed" while in their shop.  After debating this with Qualtech and getting nowhere, I personally followed up with Jeeps service manager. He indicated that the sensor that failed was on the same circuit with the front sensor (that Qualtech had contact with) and the backup audible warning sensor. While he could not say with certainty that anything Qualtech did had caused the failure, he also couldn't rule it out. He agreed that the timing would suggest that perhaps something had occurred that caused it to fail. I again spoke with Qualtech, who again stated their position it wasn't their fault and would not cover the repair. At this point, Qualtech was still being civil, but they were no longer being polite.  I pointed out again that Jeeps service manager had indicated there was room for doubt and that based on the timing it was "possible" the shop had caused it. And again, he could not say for sure.  As there was reasonable doubt, I offered a compromise and offered to split the cost, and they declined. I asked the service representative to take the facts to the owner, and let him make a final decision. I would respect whatever decision he reached. A different service rep called later that day and left a simple message saying it was being taken care of, but couldn't tell us what that meant.  The car was subsequently taken to a body shop for the front bumper, and over the next week I needed to call for updates as they were no longer proactively updating us.  When, nearly two weeks after we dropped the car off we were able to retrieve it, we were told that they were covering the cost of the repair, but that they would no longer service our vehicles.  If this has been our initial vehicle service with Qualtech I might have understood their position, but as we have had, over the last decade, 4 vehicles regularly serviced there. Further, we were willing to accept and respect the decision of the owner regardless of what decision he reached. We hesitated to write this review as our experience with Qualtech had been so favorable for so long, but we feel their approach to service and their customer service has changed as they've grown. It's a shame. read more

My Kia was having electrical issues and the dealer was out 3 to 4 months before they could even look into the issue. QualTech was able to diagnose the problem and get it fixed. However during the re-assembly there was an issue that caused a short in the radio, instead of saying this was a separate issue like I know most shops would have, they ordered a replacement radio (factory and not cheap) at no charge to me. No need to go anywhere else once you find an honest mechanic! read more

I really don't like giving bad reviews but in this case, I don't mind. I have had a massive knocking/wobbling in the front end of my car for a while now- mostly on the driver's side. I brought it in to QualTech because they have stellar reviews. They lifted it and came back with a $600 quote to replace the brakes. They didn't even bother to test drive it. I asked if the brakes can make that kind of knocking/wobbling and how much life is left in them, since I hadn't heard any squeaking whatsoever. The dude said "oh you've got like 60% left on them!" "Ok. So how long can I drive like this because I don't know if I can do $600 right now..." The dude: "oh you've got like 6 months left!" So I drive away thinking maybe I was worrying for no reason and that I didn't know as much as I thought I did about cars. I don't know much, tbh, but I know that brakes don't typically cause your car to death wobble. Basically it boils down to this: these guys were going to charge me $600 for something I didn't need and I would have driven 60mph down 2222, I completely would have gone off the road and probably died. So I took it to a place who actually found the problem and strongly advised that I don't drive it until it's fixed. Bye, Felicia. read more
