Once again, The team at Jiffy Lube Lakeway has come to my rescue!! Latroy was able to quickly diagnose my Tundra check engine light to a missing air filter. I took my Truck to a brake repair shop in Cedar Park and they try to sell me an air filter and a bunch of fluid servicing but I told them no ! I get my oil changed with Latroy and his team because they always go the extra mile taking care of all my vehicles!! I could've done a better job if I spent the time learning how this stuff works. This is why I despise mechanics because the majority does not take care of your stuff and/or loses parts. I came in for an oil change done May 29, just to get their mistakes fixed by a family member. Mind you my car is only 3 years old and oil started leaking everywhere. This is not a car problem, it's a people problem. They didn't screw in my oil filter enough so it leaked all over my safety panel and stained it. When you also look in my engine bay there is oil stained over the plastic engine cover. I mean if you're gonna make a mess of that degree, at least don't lose the last bolt for the cover too. This compilation of these "slip ups" expedited the duration my oil shoulda lasted by like 3x. Come on. That's double homicide Jiffy Lube...be for real. read more

I've never been to this Jiffy Lube before, but have had great Experiences with this Multi Location Company in the Past ! This Jiffy Lube is 'The Best' !! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I didn't have an Appointment but when I pulled up LaTroy stopped what he was doing and greeted me with a Smile asking "How can I Help You Today?"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I explained that my Service Light was on and that I had recently clicked over 40,000 miles on my Toyota Hybrid Highlander! I thought I needed an oil change but they caught the fact that the dealership did not reset the oil warning light. When checking fluid levels they found sludge in my coolant and needed to be flushed and coolant added. I was in need of new break pads and roaters on short notice. After contacting several different companies I decided I would call jiffy lube and that would be the last quote I got. Man oh man I sure a thankful I called. Jiffy Lube gave me a quote that was 1/2 of the price of the other places and was able to get me in with a days notice. For reference the other places I called for this serve ranged from $600-$900 and that didn't include roaters... Jiffy Lube charged me only $260 plus tax and that included new roaters!!!! The last time I was in this jiffy Lube, I was so impressed by how attentive and friendly they all were. I needed my oil changed again, so I came screaming back in at about 1min to 7 pm yesterday. The doors were still open, and I asked if they could do one more. The manager, Latroy, was the only one there and said, "Sure, come on". OMGosh, two times in a row, several months apart, and again, amazing service. Bravo, way to go. Fast and efficient but don't carry all of the fluids for certain care makes and models.

My wife took my '04 Land Cruiser for a simple oil change and when she got back, the car was leaking oil all over the driveway. I looked at the oil plug and it appears that the "mechanic" lost the original one, tried to make something work using some new bolt and a gasket-maker sealant and it didn't hold long enough for us not to notice. It looks like they crossed threaded it in there. Additionally, they didn't take the sticker off of the windshield from the previous oil change, just left it on and pasted their new sticker under the old one. Also, the recommended mileage on the new stick has already happened. I really regret ever taking my car there for a simple oil change. Who knew someone could screw up a simple oil change this badly? For the past 25 years I have been a Jiffy Lube customer and finally had bad experience. I was told to wait at bay one and while I waited three other vehicles came in and were serviced while I waited. Got out of my vehicle and discovered there wasn't anyone working on the car in bay one. I went up to the young HS kid helping out and was instructed that car has a transmission issue. So to resolve this he asked me to move to another bay which had just serviced another vehicle and was now empty. Great but as soon as I get there the main mechanic came over and told me that bay wasn't in service and to move my truck back to bay one behind the vehicle nobody was working on. I ignored his angry attitude and decided best to drive off. Not sure if y'all were having a bad day but that was pretty poor service. read more

"Not my car not my problem" Never before have I been treated in the way I was at the Lakeway Jiffy Lube. When coming in on a beautiful Saturday for an oil top off I was going through the motions when I saw them pull my car out and open the hood again. In confusion I walked out as a young blonde kid was unclamping the cover under my hood. When I asked him what he was doing he said my wind shield wiper fluid was not spraying. He then proceeded to bend and ruin the cover and ripped the wire so now both were no functioning. When I calmly asked him to replace them after pulling the wire and putting a hole in the hood of my car (where the sprayer was) he told me they do not fix this. When I asked him why would he pull on it and put a hole in the hood of my car if they do not service this? He copped and attitude and turned his back on me. Looking under the influence with head phones in. I followed him and asked to speak with a manager. He then said there was not one there and mumble things under his breathe that I could not make out. When I raised my voice to him he told me "not my car not my problem". When calling Rick (the manger) and coming in a 6:50Am before work Rick told me to get it fixed and that I would be reimbursed. When I brought him the receipt he raised his voice, laughed at me, and said he would give me an oil change. (Me not wanting them to ever touch my car again) After making me go out of my way on three occasions and leaving work early two days to get it fixed I was furious. He said it would be sent up the chain and it has been well over a week with no response. I am honestly not expecting anything at this point but the unbelievable customer services and incompetency is mind blowing. I have been coming here since I got my drivers license and I am 27 now. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I will never take my car to this location ever again and I can imagine Rick or this employee will be there for long. read more
