I recently stopped by the Fine Jewelry department at Macy's MainPlace Mall for help with a pair of small diamond hoop earrings I purchased from Macy's about six years ago. The clasp had gotten loose, and the gentleman helping me actually tried to adjust it himself first. After taking a closer look, he realized it needed a little more work and would probably have to be sent out for repair. Instead of automatically having me send them out through Macy's, he suggested I try a small jewelry repair shop inside the mall because he thought they could take care of it quicker and for less money. I'm so glad he did! They had my earrings repaired, cleaned and polished within about 15 minutes. Macy's may not have gotten the repair sale that day , but THIS is the kind of customer service I appreciate. He genuinely tried to help me find the easiest and most affordable solution instead of worrying about making a sale. Thank you to the gentleman in Fine Jewelry who helped me! Five stars for great customer service.

This location really needs to get their staff on the same schedule here and not make up false closing times. If you guys don't really want to work and want everyone out of the store, just change your closing time to 10:30. Look at every other chain department store. When it's closing time, they make an announcement beforehand and when they actually close, but they don't start pushing people out way before then. Tustin Market Place is way better. They don't aggressively push people out and the security guard there is nice and friendly.

The employee was a Hispanic woman with blonde hair and glasses. I was looking at the shoes in the aisle when I stopped near the area where she was organizing the boots. She spoke to me in Spanish and said: "Váyase a otra línea porque yo estoy arreglando aquí." The way she spoke to me was very disrespectful and made me feel uncomfortable and upset. I understand that employees are busy and may need to organize or restock an area, but there is a respectful way to communicate that with customers.I spoke with a team member at the front and explained what had happened. Because of the way I was treated, I decided to leave my items behind and leave the store.I am not asking for special treatment. I simply believe customers should be spoken to respectfully, even when employees are busy or frustrated. I hope this interaction can be addressed with the employee so that other customers do not experience the same treatment.

I will say that the racks are fairly bare, which is not the norm for a Tj Maxx. It's giving Ross vibes as far as inventory goes (iykyk) They have a pretty decent skincare section and homegoods items. Their sale items are a bit pricier than I've seen at other locations. It may have just been that they've been really busy and waiting for more inventory. If you're in the area, still a solid location to do some browsing and possibly find a great bargain on something!

It has three levels but only saw registers at the first floor with just three to four cashiers. Thought they would have more for Black Friday.

The cashier that rang me up was mad because I didn't want their credit card. I argued with her saying I wasn't interested. I'll take my business to Brea from now on.
