Good value, everything is priced reasonably. For the best stuff, follow them on IG as they post their newest items on there and you can reach out to them to hold that item. Give this place a shot, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to sift through hundreds of vinyls to see if there is anything worth buying.

The holiday selection at HomeGoods is far superior to almost anything around. It's a mix of Big Lots, Rite Aid, Michaels, and Macy's. The variety is impressive. My only issue is with such a small store, the holiday's usually take over a good 1/3 or even 1/2 the store making regular everyday things a little harder to find. What I do love is the name brands they carry. Last Christmas, the had some Lenox dishes. And while they are less expensive, a full set can still run a hundred or so dollars, but it's better than the 3-4 hundred at Macy's. The store still feels a big junky and disjointed. Not as bad as Goodwill, but sections can feel close. You also have to look carefully at what you're buying. We were looking for a laundry basket, and it took a while to find one that wasn't damaged. And not everything is cheaper. We found a better and less expensive garbage can at Costco, so do you price comparisons. The people that work there are nice enough. I haven't had to ask anyone of the floor for help, the checkers do take the time to wrap what you're buying if you ask them. And on a plus side, they actually have restrooms! This is good since the mall no longer exists.

Since we have two members within our household, that's two bottles a month! I decided to host my own wine tasting at home with those wine and Home Goods in city of Orange definitely made my life much easier by carrying all kinds of beautiful drink ware and home decor for me to entertain my guests. The prices at Home Goods are always great to begin with, and since tax is lower in Orange County than in LA County, I save even MORE money when I shop here. The cashiers here were very efficient and the lady helping me took her time wrapping all my ceramic plates and wine glasses. They also have REALLY cute reusable bags there, which is a HUGE plus for me because I collect all their bags! I can't wait to come back here the next time I am in the area.

My daughter pointed at a Highland cow plushie, and a worker who was standing around the shelf suddenly said, "That's twenty dollars." I hadn't asked how much it was, wasn't looking at the price, and honestly wasn't even having an interaction with her. The comment caught me off guard and made me feel like I was being judged based on whether I could afford it. My daughter ended up choosing a Precious Moments plushie instead. As I was walking toward the checkout behind my friend, the same employee, while she was checking out another customer, said to me, "Are you going to pay for that?" Obviously I was walking toward the cashier because I intended to pay for it. The way it was said felt extremely rude and made me feel like I was being treated as though I was trying to steal something. What really disappointed me was that I came in happy, with my daughter, simply wanting to browse and enjoy some time together. I left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. There are respectful ways to assist customers or ask questions without making them feel watched, judged, or suspected of something. I understand employees have a job to do, but customer service and the way you speak to people matter. I hope management addresses this because no customer should leave a store feeling embarrassed or unwelcome when they haven't done anything wrong. This was around 4 pm. Thursday, August 27th.

Manager was rude. Tried to make a return for a furniture piece over the weekend that we purchased…read moreat another location. Tried to explain that it was the floor model, weren't sure if it was a managers special or not but we KNEW it was NOT final sale because we asked before we bought it just because we weren't sure if it would match our furniture. Manager refused to help and said it was final sale and waved us away, and on top of that states "there's a ton of damage to this". First, how would you know if it's final sale without even attempting to customer service us or contact the other location, and second, ONE nick (which we tried to explain was there at the time of purchase, which is why it was on sale) doesn't equate to a "ton" LOL. The one thing their manager DOES know is exaggeration. But of course, I don't think she even heard us speak? I was disappointed and surprised to say the least because you just don't treat customers that way, it's not acceptable. Regardless of how busy the store is, or how much you don't want to deal with a return, you still do your job. Of course had to drive all the way to the South Coast location (which is where the original purchase was made) and completed the return with no issue. They not only laughed when I told them about the "ton of damage" to it (which they checked and nope, just the one) but they were confused about not being able to return as it was NOT final sale (as I said to Tustin Marketplace). Wish I would've snapped a photo of the item because it was near perfect. I should've just save myself some time and went straight to South Coast even if it was out of my way. Note to self and to anyone else - skip the Tustin Marketplace location, even if it's convenient. World Market South Coast all the way!
