I typically hate writing 1 star reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience so others can be cautious. My husband has been searching for an older classic pickup for quite some time. He's very particular about what he wants, and when he came across one listed here, it seemed perfect. The price was reasonable and it checked all the boxes he had been looking for. Since we live out of state, we even started discussing flights and planning a trip to come see it in person. My husband originally called and spoke with Michael to ask a few questions about the truck. During that conversation, he felt some pressure to put a payment down right away. He decided not to do that at the time because he wanted to make sure his friend could travel with him to look at the vehicle in person. When he called again later, he started by mentioning that he had already spoken with Michael before. Michael asked if he was still planning to come down, and my husband said yes but asked if they could do a quick video call so he could hear the truck run and see it before putting down a deposit. At that point the response changed quickly. Michael said he had someone coming in within 30 minutes to put a payment on the truck. What stood out to us was that this wasn't mentioned earlier in the conversation until we asked about a video call. When my husband pointed out that they could lose another buyer if that sale fell through, the conversation became tense and Michael ended the call by saying he wasn't going to argue and hung up. After this interaction, we did some additional digging and noticed that several of the vehicle photos appear to come from Legendary Motors, LLC in Massachusetts. That raised some red flags for us. To be fair, the address being used does appear to belong to a legitimate business. However, the showroom and inventory photos being presented don't appear to match what is actually visible at that location. We're sharing this experience simply so others take the time to cross-reference listings and verify information before sending any money or making travel plans. The website looks legitimate at first glance, but it's always worth doing a little extra research when something seems unusually good. read more

Do not buy a car or truck from this place EVER! Their salesman will make you feel like you can trust them, will promise you that if anything happens to the vehicle that they will fix it. Truth be told, yeah they'll fix it, but their mechanic doesn't know what he's doing. He does the bare minimum or less than that. We bought a truck from them and before we had even driven it off the lot, I ran my OBD tool and sure enough the codes had recently been reset and the vehicle showed that it could not pass emissions. The salesman actually had the nerve to say, "well its already passed emissions anyway." As if that made any difference. We said no, fix the truck or we won't take it. They kept the truck for another week, fixed that problem. But I guess while fixing that, the dude messed up the wiring on the truck and unbeknownst to us until that night when we tried to drive the truck at night that the lights didn't work! Not only do the lights not work, but they took a 2 ton Tommylift tailgate off the truck and replaced it with a different tailgate per our request. However they put the tailgate on with incorrect parts so it rattled like crazy. And the dude didn't adjust the struts/shocks when he took 2000 lbs of weight off the truck. So either us driving it or him removing the tailgate trashed the struts to the point that they were leaking oil and the truck was a wobbly mess. On top of all this the following day when driving the truck to the dealership to have them fix these problems, the truck cuts out and dies. The accelerator pedal position sensor had gone out! So we call them and they apologize and come tow the vehicle to their shop. They assured us everything would be fixed. They kept the vehicle for a day and said it was fixed and even brought it back to us. Turns out they didn't fix anything but the pedal position sensor because it was cheap. Everything else would have cost them around $1500 & GOD FORBID they spend any money to fix the problem. We should have taken the vehicle back and got our money back, but my mom was so in love with the truck and fed up with searching for a truck that she said f*** it and decided to keep. Just beware with this place it's a hit or miss if you'll get something that isn't a complete POS. read more

Drove 6 hours only to be told that the vehicle I was supposed to check out was sold and tried selling me other vehicles. Was not the only vehicle already sold that was still listed. I informed the person I was corresponding to about the sale and still continues to list it along with the others I have found. Don't bother if you're not local, you'll be wasting your time and money. They need to either coordinate among themselves better or stop luring people in to enter their lot to sell their other vehicles. Drove another 6 hours back home empty handed. Not happy at all. At least I didn't support a shady dealership that employs bait and switch. Don't be fooled! You've been warned. Avoid this place like the plague or in contemporary terms, avoid it like COVID! Doesn't have quite the ring to it like the latter but I hope the message is clear and get through enough. Edit: Just additional information since I've been shopping around for cars and have come across other listings. They also use their dealership as a front for their OfferUp business to legitimize it. I am gonna be honest, I'm not a fan of these types of places (yeah I'm a little boujee). I only ended up here because of a truck I saw online and had to have. But let me tell you about this place - these guys are nice, HONEST, and fast but not pushy. I've never had a car salesman be honest with me and let me tell you that these guys aren't here to play games. They give it to you straight, offer to help in any way they can, and they are overall nice people. After all of that, they are quick as hell. Never been in and out of a dealership in an hour in my life!! They took care of everything and had my documents ready, explained to me, signed and processed and I was out of there in an hour with my amazing truck. I'm a fan and will come back. read more

Discount Auto Sales LLC 2640 W Adams Street, Phoenix, Az consigned a 2006 Porsche Cayman S with the Barrett Jackson auction September 01 in Las Vegas. The Porsche was featured as 40,000 actual miles and in very good condition. When the Porsche was delivered, in Florida, I noticed a pining noise coming from the motor, did not hear it at the time of purchase. After the mechanic examined the engine it was concluded that cylinders 5 & 6 were damaged. This was confirmed by a work order dated May18th, 2018 that stated the scoring of the cylinder walls and recommended replacing the engine by a Porsche dealership that was found in the front seat compartment . Carfax reported that the car was serviced that day, but did not report the engine problem. I have given them 2 option: 1. Purchase the Porsche back and pay all expenses. 2. Pay the cost of repairs with genuine Porsche parts. Nothing has been done as of yet. When purchasing a $26,000 vehicle in good faith you would think it needs $20,000 in repairs. read more

If i could give them a zero rating i would, Who comes on a Saturday and takes my car they do... I have insurance on my car, and they tried to say that the insurance company called them and told them that i had no insurance on my car. When they picked up my car I was fully insured. they finally admitted after about 10 minutes of talking to them that they called the insurance company and the insurance company told them i had no insurance. First of all if my insurance was canceled the insurance company would have to call me and send me a letter they would never call you and tell you as you first kept saying that the insurance company called them and told them. that was incorrect. They also said that they repoed my car because i wouldn't bring the car in for an inspection. I told them that i can take the car anywhere and have it inspected because i have a separate extended auto warranty on my vehicle and i can take the car anywhere i choose. I went to discount auto because they came recommended by another dealership. I was wrong for getting a car from them.
