I started service in October 2025. There was the starting promo offer. The October bill $87.11, November $113.67, December $103.04, January $137.15, February was adjusted down to $114.97 when I called to find out why the charge for January was so high. Two calls with different agents resulted in an $11.99 refund for the January overcharge. The second call, the agent adjusted the February billing to $114.97. After those two calls I contacted Vyve Broadband to discuss returning to their service. The agent guided me to the detailed billing statements on Direct TV website. As I talked my way through the details we each entered the charges, credits from each billing period. She was surprised that (A) Direct TV did not send the detailed billing with an email saying the charge would be made to your card and (B) that every single bill did not add up to as much as what was charged. We each did this twice for each bill. The results were October, billed $87.11, actual total was $65.12, an overcharge of $21.99. November billed $113.67, actual total $91.68, an overcharge of $21.99. December billed $103.04, actual total $91.05, an overcharge of $11.99. So, I called back again today and spoke to agent Ricardo who refused my request to speak to a manager or supervisor, he refused to manually enter the line items from each billing period to see that the amount billed resulted in overcharges of the actual totals. He said there was no correction that would be made to the billing and no refunds would be made. To borrow a recent statement from recent news reports " the math ain't mathin. " I have filed a complaint with the FCC today. Hopefully they are still in existence and doing the job they were established for. A consumer should be provided with the detailed statement even if they are paperless billing ( Vyve does this imbedded into the email notices before payment is drafted). A consumer should not have to manually check the math on billing statements every month. AT&T has already had Class Action suits for other things and I can see this being the next. So far, Direct TV (AT&T) owes me an additional $55.97 for overbilling. On the Customer Service reps I spoke with, the first two, a female was ok (can't remember her name) and Ali who was very good. Ricardo needs to look for another job because my review of him was not favorable. I was mostly forced to listen to him read the line by line detail of every months billing for 25 minutes. He refused to deviate from what their normal script is and simply add and subtract every line item detail to see that what I was saying was accurate. Wants to charge $50 to adjust my dish after a storm took a tree down and knocked it loose and we had to replace the roof. I pay enough for the service. I don't need this extra expense when we are on fixed income. Got a call and they offered us $50 off for 12 months to cover the cost! Nice read more

So they can send my bill to my house, however they can't ship me a replacement remote, because their computer states that my house doesn't exist. So after 4 days they finally left me one at the sales office of my development, so I can finically change the channel and count the days until I have a cluster when I discontinue their services. November is going to be a long month. Not sure if I even need. So they screwed up my service call cut off the service and want me to sign for another two years. Was promised a $5 a month credit for signing up with direct bill. Couldn't get into my account when moved my service to another city. Already had direct bill for previous account. Waited for first bill and it did not have credit. Got second bill and no credit - called and after almost 2 hours of no help, still got no help as I was told I had to do this within 30 days of service. Hmmm....My set up at new home was done on May 19, 2020 and was not completed. Was promised a tech to complete service on May 21 - who was a no show. Tech came on May 26th to complete service request. Now I am being told that my 30 days started on the 19th! What?????? DirectTV has been a nightmare to work with. I will tell every one I know to stay away from Direct TV. We've tried four times to order the SEC package, and they're hung up on us, promised to call us back and didn't, told us we would have the channel in a few minutes, then followed with use not having it until a few more days. They're service has been terrible. All we asked for was something really simple that they literally do all the time, yet somehow they are somehow managed to mess up the one thing they're supposed to be able to do. Smh. If I could give no stars I would! I had my direct tv installation scheduled for 0900-1200 and they were supposed to call before arrival, 1200 rolled around and had not received a call oh we'll figured they were busy and they would be out later. 1530 rolled around and I receive a call from the installation guy saying they weren't going to make it out today when I asked why the man stated he tried to call me 3 times in the morning and got no answer which was a lie to start with once I called him on his BS he got extremely disrespectful! Had a young man set me up with Direct TV said It would be 82.00 a month. We would get all these good channels. I asked him how was I to believe him. He said "I am a Mormon and we don't lie. I'm a student and I only do this during our brakes. I gave in. (Big Mistake) My bill was up to 201.00 Then after that it jumped higher. I called n to leave them and they said I was on a two year contract. The young man told me it wouldn't be, then I find out AT&T bought Direct TV. Hell that is not good business. That would be like going on American Airlines right after they bought Delta. The price to fly would be very high. Same with AT&T buying Direct TV. After my contract expired, I was so happy. I would give negative Stars if I could. My service was scheduled for installation this Monday the tech called and canceled because he had an engine light on. Then it would be rescheduled for Tuesday in another tech would come out that never happened. It was rescheduled for Wednesday after I called DirecTV and talk to somebody in the Philippines because DirecTV likes to Outsource jobs. They don't understand English very good in the Philippines there is very broken and hard to understand. Today at 2:39 Central Standard Time the technician That was supposed to come out and install my equipment called and complained because he had to wait one hour and 20 minutes until I got off of work. He even suggested that I should take off of work early that's what I asked him is DirecTV going to pay my lost wages? He said he would call his supervisor and get back with me. He never did. So I called DirecTV's 800 number and talk to someone in the Philippines again and told them that I do not want your service anymore because your technician is a little whiny bitch doesn't want to work in the fucking Heat. One of the worst customer service I have experienced. 2016 called in to request an upgrade and asked if there is any effect on contract ,answered NO. But yes, there was a restart of contract for two yrs. A couple of yrs later 2020, called to select a package that reduces channels that were viewed and ask for specific channels of I interest. We selected a package that includes the channels we wanted. To then have the removed and when contacted DirecTV they offered a higher cost package that actually includes them. I told them this was unacceptable and ended the call, I get a call back from them to try and sell me a higher cast package that included the channel we wanted. I do not recommend anyone to get service from Direct tv. They are not a trustworthy business. They took $571 out of my account with out authorization and on top of that I did not owe them any money. There equipment had been mailed back and the services they charged me for I did not receive. From November to January the charged me and I have had services from Spectrum since November and I have a letter to prove it from Spectrum. They disconnected Direct tv and connected Spectrum. Direct TV is awful. We canceled our service due to a move and they continued charging our account. When we called for a refund they said they had no record of us canceling and charged us for an additional month even after another employee acknowledged that we canceled when we said we did. read more

My mother's TV was knocked out in a power outage and she received outstanding assistance from Abigail Salazar Trevino. She was knowledgable, concerned, kind, and interested in what she was doing. As it turned out, it was the television that had been damaged---it was not a DirecTV issue---but Abigail still went above and beyond to help. It is rare to encounter this level of customer service and we are grateful. read more
