I had recently moved to the area from out of state and had bought a home and installed 3 new units by another contractor (poor choice) to the tune of $23 k. After the other contractor came out for my fall service last year they gave me an estimate to replace the a coil on 1 of my units because it was leaking but the coil was under warranty by the manufacturer. The other contractor gave me an estimate to replace the coil...... on the estimate they showed an inflated price for labor and showed a $500 rebate from Lennox. When I received the estimate from the other contractor I decided to call other contractors along with the service manager and sales girl from the other company to share my frustration. T hank goodness I called and spoke to David this time. He checked with Lennox and they stated there was no such rebate but the coil was still under warranty. He gave me a fair price to replace the coil (several hundred less than the other contractor after their false rebate) They showed up when expected and I am now using them for my spring and fall services. They showed up in the spring and did what needed to be done on time and very professional. Unlike the other company when they showed up they serviced all 3 units and didn't hand me estimates to repair/inspect my electric and plumbing or HVAC since the units were under 3 years old. I would highly recommend this company for all HVAC needs! David is the best that I have worked with since I've moved to Texas! I needed a new heat pump and I got three local estimates. Polansky Heating and Air was not the lowest but seemed to be the most through and honest so I want with them and I am glad I did. David, himself came out to my house for the estimate. He was very knowledgeable and actually took measurements in order to make a reliable recommendation. He was able to answer all my questions and address all my concerns, plus he would always answer my calls or return them in a timely manner. The day of the install three very professional and personable guys, Jimmy, Vic and Wynn appeared and first laid some coverings on all the floors where they would be walking. They then presided to dismantle the old units and then install the new. They had to work in very tight quarters and even had to rebuild the platforms where both the indoor and outdoor units had to be placed. None of my requests seemed to bother or annoy any of them and they completed the job, with smiles, in a timely manner and perfectly. Because of Polansky Heating and Air, I am once again the Cool kid on the block! And I have found a reliable Heating and Air company in the Waco area. read more

polansky installed the hvac system in our home when it was built 4 years ago, we heard a loud bang every time the system stopped for the last 4 years. The sound stopped a couple of months sago and we noticed the bedroom zone getting colder and the living room getting warmer so we called them to come out to check, the tech was here for over 3 hours and told us we had our thermostats set wrong then told us he found a wire blocking the damper and it was fixed. He charged us over $350 and nothing was fixed, we called another company and the took pictures of the mess Polanskys tech left with nothing sealed up an two dampers not working so needing to be replaced. Don't use this company, they just charge you by the hour and don't stand behind their work, they installed the system incorrectly but still couldn't fix the problem. We called Polansky because they were the installer for our Trane syste. The service rep came to the house and spent approximately 3 hours inspecting our system and came up with nothing was wrong just don't put the 3 zones to the same temperature. I then called a certified Trane service company and after their inspection found that two dampers were broken and we had a slight gas leak. They promptly fixed all the issues, replacing the broken dampers and tightening the gas pipe. Bottom line I was charge a lot of money and got very poor results from Polansky's service. read more

The float switch was installed by a very knowledgeable technician. He was friendly, polite and explained the repairs and installation in detail. My home AC had an issue - I called Monday morning, got the dispatcher, and David called me within 30 minutes. Even with their weekend backlog calls, they got to my house by 1:00 p.m. Fast, honest, very reasonably priced, and very nice. Highly recommend and will use in the future. read more
