When the Technicians came to clean and seal my air vents I was very pleased with what they did and the effort that they made to get the job done professionally. I have enjoyed the results this month with a much lower electric bill and the lack of dust in my house. The problem has been with the expediant processing of my personal check for over $4,000.00 It was sent by certified mail on March 30, 2026 but has not cleared my bank as of today April 20, 2026 which causes me great concern. I have been in touch with the Branch Manager of Montgomery and tried to get in touch with his immediate supervisor since last Friday without a reply as of 2:00 pm today. As a result I reached out to the VP of Corporate Customer Service and have been put back into the wait for a response at their convenience. After over 30 years of experience in a number of corporations working for and with the Officers of those company's I have never seen such a poor handling of financial and customer service. read more

I am not a customer of Aire Serv, but I am the persistent target of their obnoxious, intrusive auto-playing online ads, imbedded in sites which have nothing to do with HVAC. I believe that a company which resorts to this sort of trash-bombardment 1) has no faith in the ability of their product to sell itself on merit, and 2) believes that anyone who would select their product on the basis of their advertising is of below-average intelligence. I had to file a complaint with the BBB over the poor quality of my whole house vent cleaning. they missed at least three vents and lines that I have found so far. I took the vents into the office to show them but when they kept me waiting I left. I later went back into the office to show them. I want a refund for the lines they did not clean. This cleaning was done through the Tipton County Tennessee office in Atoka Tennessee. read more

They originally installed our new unit few years back. Renewed our service contract with them. Unit had issue on the 24th came out now 4 days later same issue at 1030pm. Called in told no tech available. Really? So the 24 hour service is just a lie then. 9 hours later had to call in again as zero call back or contact from anyone. Horrible service. Service contract is just a means to steal your money they dont back it up. Finally got a call and had no idea I had called the previous night. So 24 hour service is false advertisement basically as the call went no where. Save yourself money and aggravation look into other companies that back up what they say they really do. read more

Aire-Serv is a deceptive, unethical company You may think you are signing a contract with Aire-Serv. In reality, you are contracting with an independent, who is solely responsible. A high percentage of these contractors go out-of-business in the first year or two. One report says 50%. Once your contractor goes out of business, you will have no legal recourse if they are set up as an LLC. You can not sue the owner of the LLC. My Aire-Serv franchise installed an inferior unit than what I contracted for, installed it improperly so that it was doomed to fail, then went out-of-business by the time it did fail. I am out: * $900 I paid for the upgraded 16 Seer unit * $300 tax credit for a high efficiency unit * $800 labor to fix the burnt-out compressor * $300 for 2 yrs tune-ups The unit now rattles when it turns on and off, sometimes getting stuck on the defrost mode. It's louder than it was and is compromised. One could say I'm out the entire $4700 I paid for the unit, plus the $800 to get it working as well as it is now. Aire-Serv ignored emails, and their automatic telephone system automatically hung up on me once I gave them my zip code (consciousness of guilt). Our A/C went out and we called for an emergency call, they finally arrived about 2am, did some troubleshooting and determined that they would have to order a part. Took over a week to get the parts, which were under warranty, and then they came out, installed the parts and charged me almost 300 bucks. The technician was good and knowledgeable but the front office had told me that I would only be responsible for labor costs. And then I got the bill, for the warranted parts. I was not happy. They tried to explain to me that the labor cost was the same as the parts.... I could only roll my eyes. Watch out for Mid Missouri. read more

They repaired my system for $800. Great customer service, fast, and worked great. It worked for five days. Now they say I need a new complete system. Yet, when done the tech said it would last for a long time. A friend in refrigeration said it's the bait and hook. Not happy. read more

The serviceman was very friendly and honest about the state of my A/C. He even gave me ideas on how to save on a new one if I chose to upgrade in the future! He was also able to set me up for checking my heater, noting that, though he could do it that day, he did not suggest it because it would heat up the house. Seeing as it was already 100 degrees outside I took his advice and set it up for a later date. I'll definitely be using these guys again! read more

I have used Air Serv for at 3 system PM services. The technicians have been courteous. I thought they were doing a good job. Then I had a fan failure. It seems after significant review, I wonder if they were doing that PM properly. It failed very shortly after the last check. Mixed feelings due to failure but can't always blame last person. We hired Aire serve to come to our business to check on our Roof top AC. It had stopped cooling and it was getting very hot in our store. The first time they came the charged us $146.00 to screw a panel back on that was left off. The second time we called because the unit was not cooling they came and told us a part needed replaced. We paid for them to do this. An hour later the unit sounded as though it was going to fall threw the roof. I called them back and stayed after hours for them to come repair the unit again. This time he said that there were several parts that needed replaced that had gone out in just that hours time. Then while talking with the tech he said it would be better to just replace the unit. It took us almost 2 months (we hired someone else) to find out that there was a small leak and we had lost all the Freon from the unit. Once this new company found the leak and repaired the line and filled the unit things worked fine. So we paid almost $400 and did not get any help or proper repairs done. They also informed us that the panel that we paid the $146.00 to have put back on was left off and that caused the unit to fill with water from the rain. NEVER AGAIN will I ever hire or tell someone to use this company. read more

I called after hours since it was an emergency (for my family ;)) and Brandon, the on call emergency technician, showed up on time, went through a thorough process to determine what was wrong, educated me on my options and showed me pricing on an ipad that I could sign off on. Aire Serv is a MUST HIRE! Fred was called out for an inspection of our air ducts/HVAC due to draining problems/dust problems/water backup within our AC units which was all leading to our high electricity bill each month. Fred gave a thorough, yet concise summary of everything he did, what is wrong, and his recommendations on what needs to be fixed. Being a college student, a lot of people and companies take advantage of our lack of knowledge on certain things. HOWEVER, this was NOT the case with Fred and Aire Serv. Fred was the nicest and most selfless man and represented the Aire Serv name well. He truly cared about getting what was broken, fixed and was very engaging on wanting us to know what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it. My roommates and I are so grateful for Fred and Aire Serv and will be 150% recommending them to all of our friends with HVAC/air duct issues in the future. read more

I know Aire Serv did not install our AC unit but they have had the job of working on it. We had a service contract where they would do the preventative maintenance. In the last 5 years since the unit was put in, we have spent thousands to have it fixed. The latest problem is the lack of communication and service. Our unit was not cooling, my wife called them and they were right out that day. That part was good, but it went downhill from here. My son was home when the serviceman arrived. He said the unit was low on freon. My son called me to tell me what was wrong. I asked to speak to the serviceman and I asked where the leak was. He said there was no leak. Sorry folks, if the unit is low on freon, there IS A LEAK. He went back and checked again and yes, there was a leak. My wife spoke to their office and the guy promised we would have it covered under warranty and would have the problem fixed quickly. The unit was never registered with Rheem and the office said they would help get it covered. By now it has been a week. Texas summer, 100' plus temperatures? Still nothing and no phone calls, no returned calls. I understand Rome was not built in a day, but communication is important. The unit still is not fixed. Do not use this company. They were called to repair my patients air system and never performed the work but told my elderly patient they did. They also "sold" her a new water heater. They did not leave a copy of any contracts or service tickets. When called to complain he said they don't do water heaters, until he remembered who it was. Then said they didn't charge the system yet when they said they already did. Also he stated he doesn't leave copies of contracts until after the work is done. Are you kidding me? They were called to fix an air conditioner, said they did, then admitted they didn't yet? The patient is an elderly invalid who was scammed and taken advantage of by this company.
