I called and was just hoping they can help me right away since our AC suddenly out of Freon. Plus I was reading the Yelp reviews and were great, so I decided to give it a try. The lady was very receptive and kind over the phone. She told me that they didn't have any appointment available until Monday since I am a new customer. This happened on a Thursday morning and I informed the lady that all I need was was Freon, lol. I got lucky that the technicians were out already and they will be able to come to our house after another house call. Anyways, Fred and another technician came and were able to fix the problem temporarily since we need a new HVAC. Fred was very thorough and explained what was wrong with our system. Ronnie who is the sales representative, was able to find us a new system with a very reasonable price. And the process didn't take very long. Within 2 weeks we had our new HVAC installed. We are very happy and pleased of the service rendered. Plus the installers were amazing. They even clean up the area after they were done. The house feels so much cooler, even we have it on the same temperature setting from our old one. Since it's new, it's also quieter. I highly recommend them and I will keep them on my to go list for maintenance. read more

Not a trustworthy company. They installed a drain trap for my hvac drain pipe that was causing issues incorrectly. A few months later it had a clog and water overran to the backup. I asked them to come fix it since they did it wrong (didn't cap it) and help address the issue it caused before I got water damage. Not only did they refuse the office woman said I got a refund of the work done. They charged me like $260 for that and that was a lie. They didn't refund anything. Don't trust them. They'll do it wrong, refuse to fix, and then lie to you. read more

Do not trust these people ,they will try and con you. My outdoor AC unit was not shutting off this guy told me it was my thermostat. I researched this issue for a week and not one person said the thermostat would be the issue. Changed the thermostat and it did not fix the issue. I'm guessing since It was because it was my first visit and those are are discounted price they figured they'd come back a second time to charge again. THEY TRIED TO OVERCHARGE BY HUNDREDS!!!!!. Our heater was not heating (kicking on the blower). Called, they came right away. Cody and another Tech. The checked the unit and without poking around or checking ANYTHING else, just by the hum of the blower motor, they told me I needed another blower motor, and they would have to drive to Waco (from Belton) to get one and charge me for the trip. They quoted me $1300 with the motor, capacitor, trip and parts. I ask if I could get my own motor and after some maybe and have to check etc, they provided me with the parts# and told me to call the to install it when it got in. I ordered the part and added the capacitor as well for $380 rather than $1075. When the items arrived, we opened the inside unit and the capacitor looked bad and was not connected right. We changed out the capacitor and the unit started right up. I am sending the blower motor back and it only cost me $8 plus the $110 for the service call. Rohde, your service techs are BAD and tried to rip us off and overcharge. We will spend our money elsewhere in the future. read more

Just had Rohde do a full install of two 5 ton systems on a very large residential home. This was a complete new install including all vents both under house and in the attic. One system was a all in one unit for the first floor with 12 foot tall ceilings as well as a dual system with compressor and heater unit for the upstairs with 10 foot tall ceilings. From the first day working with Ronnie for the system design as well as every crew member that came into our house they all went way above my expectations and did great quality work as if they were doing it for their own home. First the tech was great fast, knowledgeable, got it done. I had 1 pin hole leak on a condenser line that made the ceiling collapse 5x5 hole. He got a ladder climbed up through the hole braised the pinhole 30 min call 417 dollars not after hours. Service call was over 100 I called to get a receipt and detailed billing statement and called to ask about it and I was told it was not in my County and basically too bad. read more

Our heating unit failed to operate at the start of this heating season (it worked flawlessly the last time we used it, last April). Our Nest thermostat kept indicating an error code when the heat attempted to turn on - E102 "over current on the W1 wire". A Rohde tech came out and quickly diagnosed the issue; one of the two contact units for the heating strip was showing a big change in resistance compared to a new one. The tech changed both of these items out and solved our error code. The entire process was quick and convenient for us. Job well done. Would recommend Rohde and will use them again if the need arises. read more

Yea he stopped at a store in Roger's and he had a open beer and the vehicle smelled of marajuna and he went back in to the store to buy more beer. I will be contacting the police to report this man he said his name was Morgan. When I told him I was reporting him he got disrespectful. I twice had to call someone to deal with a lack of cooling coming from my 2-3 year old unit. Once last year and this year again. I at first attempted to call the service company who installed my unit when I bought this house. They couldn't be bothered so I called Rohde... twice dealing with their service tech Fred. He was responsive and came over right away, even though it was an after hours call, and on a Sunday last year. In both cases, Fred had what was needed on his truck, and when he left I had cool air restored. In the most recent incident, the blower motor to my electric furnace appeared to have quit working. He put in a temporary motor for me the first night, so that I could have a comfortable home until the ordered motor came in. Although this situation was more complex than last year, he got the new motor ordered and installed in less than 48 hours. Fred is friendly, dependable, efficient and honest. This company deserves its 5 star rating! In fact I am considering switching to Rohde for my routine system maintenance. If you need an honest and customer-centered HVAC repair/maintenance company, this one is it! Although my unit was still under warranty, Fred took care of me in a fair and reasonable way.
