Cool Time HVAC

After some search for replacing old A/C system I contacted Alex, owner of Cool Time LLC, and was…read moreimpressed by his knowledge and level of communication with potential customer. He recommended me the best option and on March 25, 2026 year his co-worker Nima installed the new system. I was very lucky to choose this company because Alex and Nima really care for their customers. When later I found that the new thermostat was not proper working ,Nima came next day after my call and replaced at no cost with another model, which works well. Highly recommend this company and my best wishes to Alex and Nima.

Amazing work from Cool Time HVAC! I engaged looking for vendors on servicing our residential home…read morefor installation of a new HVAC system, because every single summer since moving into this house (5+ years now) we've always had coolant leakage and have to fix leakage and refill Freon, which is a temporary bandaid fix. This summer it broke yet again and we bit the expensive bullet and started quote shopping. Right off the bat, Alex, was very responsive and communicative in getting us quotes in numbers and cut straight to the chase with numbers games for us. This is an expensive purchase and Alex was very willing to work on getting us the best price in any quote we could procure or others we talked to in the Austin area. Our AC unit went out Sat/Sunday, we talked Sunday night to Alex, and Monday evening after talking with 3-4 more companies, pulled the trigger on our new Carrier 3.5 T unit to swap out our current Trane 3.5 T unit. Alex's crew, his brothers, showed up bright and early Tuesday morning, and got to work! Pulled out the old HVAC system for interior and exterior, which was not an easy job in how our home was built and whoever lived here before decided to put all the big ticket items in the garage but the guys did a great job getting creative! I also spoke to Nimo, who was an absolute pleasure from a business standpoint, in ensuring we could understand everything we paid for today, helped turn the system back on, confirmed everything was properly installed and cleaned up and left even better than when we came in! I absolutely love that we went with Cool Time HVAC. Their customer service is unparalleled in helping us navigate something the typical homeowner considers a headache, and painful financial purchase, but they made it such a no nonsense ordeal. We appreciated the expert eyes, care for our home, and family friendly local business and personalized service in explaining registering for the unit, along with future care maintenance tips, along with hvac inspections that we look forward to continuing for our relationship in our HVAC love so it has many many years of use out of it before we have to do this all over again :)

Unfortunately, I had to make an after hours service call. Can't wait in this Texas heat. Killeen…read moreHeating and Air had my AC back up and running the same evening. The tech arrived on site, had a good idea of the issue based on the information we exchanged over the phone, and got started very quickly after arriving. He had the part available, and got my unit fixed and was off to the next hot customer!

I will start by saying back in 2021 I would have provided an excellent recommendation. However my…read moremost recent experience has been terrible. I called last Monday (after hours) because my unit turned off. My issue. Got it! No one answered the on call, after hours phone. Luckily it wasn't too hot. Next morning, Tuesday called at 9am. I explained my issue to Holly. Once I was done explaining I inquired about the on call/after hours procedure. I let her know I called at 6pm, left a voicemail and the person didn't call back or respond with a text. My assumption would be that there are expectations with an after hours service, apparently not. Holly's response was short and could really care less. She advised that a tech would call. Fast forward to 230pm same day, no call from tech so I called the office. I asked when a tech would reach out because no one had called and the day was passing. Again her rude response was that a tech would call. Hung up and tech called my phone. He was on his way. She acted as if they were so busy but magically a tech was available. Tech discovered that wire had broken that needed to be fixed. He disconnected my unit. This took about 1.5 hours. 9pm my AC unit is still running. I could not get into my security system and the thermostat was sitting on the bathroom counter. I was at work while the work was being done. So I called Joey, the tech who came out and I called the after hours phone. I also texted Joey. I am not an HVAC tech hence the reason I solicited their service. After two or three missed calls Joey finally called me back. I had to flip the breakers, remove the cap that was over the active wires from the wall to my thermostat and re-plug them back in. Honestly, I never would have figured this out. My house was freezing cold because the AC had just been running for 6hrs. Joey was not rude, but the work was sloppy and unprofessional.
