Buyer Beware ...If I could give negative stars ...  ..same day appointment all day availability = no customers. I  hired this company to clean my carpet, but they turned out to be a bunch of liars and scammers. They were very pushy and dishonest. The quality of the service was also poor. Stay away from this company They gave me a written quote online that I accepted, but when they arrived, they said that the price was much higher because of some extra services that they claimed were necessary. They refused to do the job unless I agreed to pay the inflated amount. Shocking! What if I was an elderly person? And believed the farce?  A grim thought for sure. Jeremiah () is lazy, rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. As was his supervisor () He wasted my time, attempting to mansplain ()the situation to me. He also got frustrated and disagreeable very easily, as if I was trying to scam him!  I lost four hours just to be bent over by these two.  The quality of the service is dreadful. Our home was built in 2005, and I do not believe that the vents and ducts have ever been cleaned. Louis came to our home yesterday (April 2023) and did a great job of eliminating much lint and dust from our system. The amount that he got out of our system was amazing! Louis is an Air Force veteran, and I want to commend him for explaining everything that he was going to do, and his attitude and demeanor at all times while conversing with me, my wife, and son during his trips from one room to another in performing his non-stop job. The crew was prompt & set right to task. They were thorough & didn't try to "oversell" additional services & were careful with trim work at baseboards. Several stains were much less noticeable after their attempts to remove them. These are stains that are long-standing & have not yielded to multiple professional & amateur trials. In summary......The workers arrived within the time frame stated. They were very professional. They moved and replaced furniture as promised and was very diligent. We feel like they went the extra mile and we will definitely have them come and do future cleaning for us. For the rest of the story.....We were hesitant to call Stanley Steemer to clean our parents non-carpet floors because the advertisement listed tile and hardwood floors. My parents floors were neither. We weren't exactly sure what kind of covering was on their floor because it was there when they moved into the house a few years ago. However, we called anyway to inquire. Our information was routed to the supervisor who service the area. Andy, the supervisor, called to talk about the appointment. I tried to explain to him the type of flooring we were inquiring about. I was only able to tell him that the bathrooms floors were definitely tile but the Kitchen, dining room, den, hallway and entryway was a vinyl or linoleum type flooring. I had somewhat of a difficult time trying to explain the exact cleaning problem we were having with the floors and what we were trying to accomplish. He wasn't sure from our conversation if he would be able to accomplish what I was trying to explain but he offered to come out to evaluate the situation. Trying to prevent him from having to make an unnecessary trip, I took pictures hoping that he could see the floor typing and the cleaning problem I was describing. He believed that he would be able to help but still wanted to come out to make sure. We were impressed that he was willing to come out to check out the problem before we made a firm commitment. Andy spot cleaned a couple of areas by hand to show us what the results would be. Wow what a difference. We were "floored" when we saw the actual color of the linoleum floors. Since day one, the floor color we were seeing was wax buildup and grind-in dirt so we were only cleaning the surface. I have had my carpets cleaned by two other companies in Temple,Tx. Both used shampoo instead of solution. After having my carpets cleaned by Best Way in Temple and Rainbow Cleaners near by none of them even come close to the quality and knowledge I gained when using Stanley Steemer. They are very professional, organized and they will do an excellent job. Wet carpet!!! I've used other companies but saw an ad and read some reviews so decided to give these guys a try. Won't do it again. When touching the carpet my hand came up visibly wet and I asked if that was normal for them. Oh yes they said. It'll dry fast. 5 hours later there are many spots that are VERY WET! So much so that I'm using a sheet to blot up some of the water. Will go back to who I've used in the past. Yes my carpet is clean - but, at what cost?! read more
