**I am NOT from San Francisco. I am from Salem, OR! The ambience of Dip Nails is one of peace, serenity, and luxury. Another descriptive--and important!--term is clean. This space is exceptionally immaculate as well as tidy. The organization of the shop is first-rate. None of the accomplished nail professionals waste time trying to find utensils or powder because everything has its place. The nail tech I see is Linda. She is wonderful! I have been a client of Linda's for almost a year, and I have been spoiled by her! From the very first day, she made--and continues to make--me feel I am number one on her priority list. She is sure to ask if I'd like a beverage or anything else to make me feel comfortable. Linda listens carefully and reads me so that she doesn't intrude if I am in a contemplative mood. After all, after a long day at work, one doesn't always want to solve the world's problems. I appreciate that. She also recognizes if I have a playful attitude, so then she visits with me and is full of energy and shares stories then listens attentively to my response. The pedi chairs are absolutely plush and relaxing. In addition to being enveloped by the lovely cushions, the operator, Linda, absolutely pushes me over the edge of relaxation heaven. After meticulously cleaning my feet (cuticles, nail trim, etc.), the massage she gives is superb! I consider the scrub application part of the massage, so I feel I get a double dose. Linda carefully cleans the oiled nail beds with cleanser so the nail polish application will go on smoothly and last for weeks! My nail dip experience with Linda is just as wonderful as my pedicure. The same meticulous care along with her professional know-how makes me feel like I am in the hands of a skillful and competent artist. She configures the nail into my desired shape. When she uses the dip powder, she is in control. You should see her French manicures--out of this world! Somehow, Linda is able to make shorter nails look long, clean, and elegant by the end of the Frenchie process. One thing I don't like is misshapen nail plates at the end of a nail service. Honestly, I don't know anyone that likes grooves and divots on their newly applied nail plate after an hour of pampering and paying $40 dollars for the pampering. Linda efficiently goes over the nail and creates a smooth, even finish that the most discriminating client will appreciate. My experience at Dip Nails is five stars! I honestly cannot say enough good things about DIP Nails. I received a gift card for my birthday in Dec 2019 and was very hesitant on going to a new salon as i went to my previous salon for over 10 years, but I scheduled my first appointment with them in December. They are very known for their "DIP nails" hints the name of the salon.. have never had DIP Nails before as I always used to get Acrylics, but was recommended to try DIP as they are so much healthier for your nails and you guys... I have been in love with them ever since. These ladies are all so sweet, very professional, the salon is so nice inside, very clean & they will work with you to make sure you are getting exactly what you are wanting. I always come to them with fun designs and I have never been let down. I can say that without a doubt DIP nails is my forever Nail salon. Their pedicures are amazing as well. I have also had my eyebrows waxed and seriously have no complaints with any of their services. This was my best experience ever on getting my nails done . Linda was awesome and very nice to talk to, her establishment is so nice. Lots of room amazing colors to choose from. Wax area with reasonable prices and pedicures which include the hot rocks or not. Opened Monday thru Sunday 10-7, which Sunday being open is amazing because we all know we break a nail on Sunday and every place is closed. Dip nails has it all and is very friendly and open. This place is beautiful and clean! I've been getting my nails done by Chau for about two years and I'm so happy she had the opportunity to open up her own shop. She's a perfectionist and always does such an amazing job. I'd recommend her to anyone. The other nail artist Linda is always very sweet and hospitable as well. I love this place! Its clean and pleasant. The ladies are all wonderful and they do a fabulous job. My dip nails last 3-4 weeks and trust me I am not gentle with them. I was a longtime user of acrylic, solar, and shellac. Since I discovered dip powder, i will never go back. My nails have never been healthier. They will still do all of those services here, but really try the dip if you havent yet. The color selection here is incredible...so many options. read more

I have no doubt this is going to be Salem's new premiere nail salon! Not only are Chau and Linda, the two best nail techs in Salem, the proud owners, but the salon is so beautiful and pristine! What a wonderful new nail salon! The business is bright and fresh! As I sit in the pedi chair, I feel like a queen. The chair is super comfortable and the massage part is not hard and pounding like the older salons. Especially nice is the disposable liner in the pedi chair!!! I have followed Linda wherever she worked and am excited for her to open her own shop. Today was my first time there and it did not disappoint. The salon is beautiful and is easy access from the street. She has 600 colors to choose from and does SNS, gel, OPI powder with matching colors for toes. You name it, they have it. Great selection. I love this nail salon! They do all types of products on fingers or toes! I get the SNS dip nails that last like no others I have ever had. I can go 3-4 weeks between manicures and rarely break them. This place is great! Loved how nice all the ladys were and how they explained everything and let you know how much each thing would cost. We tried the dip powder and its actually really great, it's way better than acrylic shellac nails. It is more expensive than most other places but its definitely worth it. My visit to this new salon today was awesome. It is spacious, beautifully appointed & so, so clean! The product used on my nails was called SNS - a powder you dip your nails in.
