I purchased some B21 sneakers back in 2018 which i absolutely loved i thought they were a better cuter and better brand of the sock sneakers. I had an issue were the fabric was separating from the rubber and idk what to do, Dior over looked them and said they where basically faulty, they did take them in to get repaired but the glue made the rubber a yellow color which was stupid. Originally the person who helped said if they can't fix them they would exchange them for another pair which was amazing but then they needed the receipt and i came to find out i bought them from saks fifth avenue and i had closed my saks account and couldn't get it. I applet what they did but it didn't solve the problem of me spending the amount for these shoes and the structure is not at Dior quality. read more

Hedi Slimane lit the torch passed it to Kris Van Assche and he has been running with it ever since. Dior is phenomenal. I honestly think that Dior can arguably be the face of men's fashion. Once you pass that heavy glass door, you enter a stark minimalistic boutique that has some of the hottest shoes lined up on the floor. The staff may seem a little snooty when you walk in but they are courteous as soon as they see that you are a paying customer (midtown gets a lot of traffic of window shoppers). After your purchase, I guarantee that you will want to go out that night to show off your investment (I call it that because you're probably going to waste money that you could have put into your etrade acct instead). I stopped by Dior Homme the other day because I was looking for a simple black tie. Walking into this location on 57th Street is a delight. Even though the store itself isn't large, it's pretty well kept. Things are neatly hung on the racks and along the shelves, and there are plenty of staff to help you out. The staff to patron ratio is definitely in your favor. As far as selection goes, they pretty much carry the currently men's line. From shoes to clothing to accessories, Dior Homme has it all. During my experience, the person who helped me out was useful to say the least. He was able to find the exact tie that I needed ($270) and within a matter of minutes, I was on my way. Granted, things aren't on the cheaper side of things, but you get what you pay for. read more

A lot of the reviews here seem pretty old and are probably outdated. We've been here multiple times before and after the remodeling and never have we been greeted rudely by the staff - and to be clear, we did not "dress up" to signal to the associates that we are going to drop thousands of dollars in the store. We've also been to a few of the other Dior Homme boutiques around the country and it always seems like this location has a better/wider selection - although the new Soho/downtown location is right up there also. Honestly it is not as if any of the Dior Homme boutiques are constantly being overrun with patrons given the very specific look and cut - hence the staff has always seemed happy to help and generate the sale... read more

I would never go back into this Dior. The sales man was very rude and had an attitude like he was bothered by the fact that we had even begun to talk to him. When my friend asked if she could try on a pair of shoes, he pretty much told her that she couldn't afford them. In response we told him we would never pay that much money for an article of Dior clothing that wasn't designed by John Galliano, that the brand has really gone down hill after Raf Simons was instated as head of house. The sales associate looked a little taken aback because clearly nobody ever talked back to him and he also looked a little confused by our knowledge of fashion and little scared because what he assumed were tourists turned out to be possible customers. we promptly left before he found out we were actually just sassy fashion students who were messing with him . I would recommend you go to the Store in Soho where the sales people are much nicer and not as quick to judge. read more

Clean and sleek, you get the sense that something is going to be very special about the clothes just by walking into Dior Homme. The atmosphere(due to either the clothes or the workers) can be intimidating, but it's nothing you do not expect from a high end boutique in NYC. As Hedi Slimane(the chief designer of Dior Homme) is leaving after this season, I recommend dropping in just to see what the clothes are really like in person. read more

Pretty much Dior is the only clothes that perfectly fit my body. They are expensive but they last a long time. The cut is superb. Everything on the racks seem to be extra special. The space design is also quite nice. Browsing can be very dangerous because the clothes stimulate the need for them. I ended up thinking I was just going to browse and left 1G less. Worth it though. Hedi Slimane will be missed, I am hoping Dior will still retain the cut and superd quality. lets see'. If you can't deal with the heat get the hell out of the kitchen! This is an AMAZINGLY designed store to show of the jaw dropping designs of Hedi Slimane for Dior Homme. Like most high end boutiques in NYC, attitude is everything. If you cant walk in here looking like you could drop $2500 on a suit without breaking a sweat the staff is not going to notice you. That is just how it is. It may be rude but its part of the aura that has to surround the idea of paying $400 for a T-shirt. My review discounts for the fact that Dior Homme is so highly sought-after that the staff can afford to be aloof and chilly. In some degree it comes from the fact that most people walk in and browse a bit awkwardly before being terrified at the prices and walking out. No five-star rating, however, because I've dealt with other Dior Homme Boutiques, and at least one of them - in L.A. - is actually staffed by genuinely friendly people. That being said, the store itself is actually quite nicely set up, and the fitting rooms are clever and enormous. The staff, when you are actually interested in buying something, do attend to you without being solicitous, and don't make a big deal out of getting multiple sizes for you. Price-point is what it is. Since Dior's fit is perfect for a guy like me (6'1" 160-165lb), and since the materials are mostly top-notch, I don't mind at least paying the sale price (50% off, very nice). Denim is excellent, even at full price ($325 for Japanese blue and black denim, 19cm); while the quality of the denim itself is not on par with denim-addict Japanese brands, the fit is unparalleled. I've had my two Japanese-denim 19cm jeans in black and blue for about 2.5 years of constant wear, and they still look great and will probably last for another 4 years. So it's a worthwhile investment. Kris Van Assche is also beginning to find his design stride, so the quality of the designs has improved dramatically since the brand's Spring 2009 nadir, which was disastrous beyond belief. It's nice to see the house growing up a little bit beyond skinny-boy-rocker style, which is boring. Overall, good place to find interesting fashion, but obviously you should know that you pay a hefty amount for it up-front. read more

the clothes here are what one expects to find. On my recent visit, however, the service was definitely not. A blonde saleswoman, new to the store, was so pushy and insulting that you'd think I was trying to sell her a pair of jeans rather than the other way around. Her priority seemed above all to put me in my place. First she insisted I try on a color I said I didn't want, then she professed amazement when I said I was only buying one pair, and then and then, until finally I realized that, no matter how much I liked the jeans, their purchase from this person would always leave a bad taste in my mouth. fantastic place to shop...if you can afford it. initially though, the boutique can be somewhat off-putting because it's so stark, white, minimalistic, intimidating. and the door is heavy!! if the security isn't aware you're standing struggling with the door. shoes are lined up on the floor and clothing is either folded on the shelving or hung on the racks. there are accessories and watches in the displays further into the boutique. the staff can be somewhat aloof if they mentally deem you a window shopped versus an actual shopper. that's totally understandable in situations like these because most likely the staff works on commission so why waste time dealing with a window shopper who comes in doe eyed aimlessly wandering around versus someone who comes in and knows exactly where to go. the boutique also has a stairwell that leads from Dior Homme to Dior next door so you don't have to walk outside. read more

Well. I had never been to Dior Homme until yesterday and I can't say that I was very impressed. I get the whole aloof salesperson thing and it is in full force here (even the doorman seemed slightly entitled) but that isn't what really bothered me. By Dior standards I am obese at 6'1" and right at about 200 pounds (I weighed more than the whole staff combined) but believe it or not they do make clothes that look great on me. The jeans are incredible even in a size 36 and the polo shirts fit like no other even in an XL. The store had 4 pairs of jeans on display all in size 28. Ok. I picked up a pair and almost laughed. Am I in Baby Dior? All of the polo shirts were S or XS. Sweaters same thing. I know that this is their customer but come on. You can't even put a medium on the rack? Or is that the new large? They had the jeans I wanted but I was afraid that if I asked the staff for size 36 they might faint. I am a man shopping in a mens store but with the mean girl attitude of the employees and the junior sizes available there is a certain lack of masculinity that is a turn off. I don't know why people are saying that the service here was bad. I walked in here wearing jeans and a tee shirt looking for a suit and I was treated great. They gave me some recomendations, brought out some stuff to try on, and also gave their opinions about the fit. I walked out of there feeling like royalty.
