    Overwhelming huge
    Sasha B.

This store is huge! It's multi-level separating women's and men's department. The layout of the store starts off with your basics, under garment and layering pieces as well as graphic tees and then leads into shorts and classic summer pieces...dresses and skirts near the fitting room. It mimics another major giant with similar structure but where the other hops on every trend, this brand tends to stick to very classic pieces that are unique to them. For example, they pride themselves on their fall/ winter pieces having built in heat technology. Think pieces that aren't bulky but will give you the protection from inclement weather and are great layering pieces. They have a wide selection, great prices and the goods are quality but lower your expectations around getting assistance on the floor.

This location of the UNIQLO store is MASSIVE. This store is three stories high. When I initially walked inside I was pleasantly surprised to see both sides of the entrance filled with fresh flowers, so you could make your perfect bouquet. In addition to selling men's, women's and children's merchandise, they also have an area where you can customize your own hoodie or tee shirt. This UNIQLO store was filled with shoppers, but it didn't feel so bad due to the large layout of the store. The prices are very fair. They had 100% cashmere sweaters for the regular price of $99.00. Also, due to the large nature of the store, it takes some time to navigate and find everything you might be interested in.

Flagship store with multiple floors of clothing from different collabs, different styles, and different clothing types. There is also a coffee shop inside too but much of the seating area is occupied so you'll have to find seating in other areas. Plenty of trendy options and lots of clothing to mix and match. The interior is bright and well lit with lots of mannequins wearing tasteful outfits. Staff are available everywhere for your assistance.

Uniqlo 5th Av Flagship - Ultra Light Down Repair Service Patch

Have been shopping at Uniqlo for most of my clothing since their first store opened in Manhattan. Was even for the early morning start at former Herald Square location for Uniqlo's 1st "Arigato" sale, where Ultra Light Down Coats went for $10 dollars! That's not what this review is about. This Global Flagship Uniqlo on 5th Avenue offers their full selection, including nice priced markdown items, which is important considering how Uniqlo's everyday prices have gone up despite the strong dollar... which should enable more reasonable prices. That being said, this is not what my review is about. Having now several different Ultra Light Down jackets that I regularly wear, one of my favorite had a tear on the pocket's inside, which created an opening so large that anything in it fell out. I had heard that Uniqlo offered a repair service for the jackets for $5 - a great deal if it could happen to make that pocket again fully functional. My belief is good clothing shouldn't be thrown away if it can be fixed! When at this store, was pointed to the Service Center on the 2nd Floor (at the back and not the Embroidery center) to bring my coat. Apparently the infrequency for such repairs being done brought confusion as to whether they could do it, plus the process for submitting, paying and processing. (Payment, once confirmed that it could be done, takes place with the 3rd Floor cashiers.) Once the time the associate promised lapsed and had reached then 1 hour, I followed up since their "Wait" app still showed 100-120 minutes to go. The repair was done, yet caught somewhere between their tailor center and pickup point. The diligent Service Center team thankfully finally found it! All these minor hics aside, I was impressed! For $5, they made a not outwardly visible sturdy repair to fix the pocket well (especially on the same day while I wait) and enabling me to continue to enjoy the jacket with full functionality! From putting hems on pants to this, Uniqlo's in-house team make me more loyal than ever to keep coming back. Kudos, Uniqlo for this great service!

This is a great store! Originating in Japan, I've shopped in stores all over the world. London, Paris, Lisbon, Madrid and now in New York. Casual clothes for Men, Women and kids. Everything you need from socks and underwear to some of the best travel clothes. I can always find something here and the prices are great. This store is huge with 2 full floors and great helpful staff.

I have been to a few Uniqlo stores and this one Is very impressive. It is a very large space and it was crowded so many tourists. Decorated so nicely for the holidays. I did spend some time in here. They have a ridiculous amount of winter coats an I tried a few on but after a while everything looked the same to me. I tried to pick out some holiday presents but I just kept buying presents for myself :-). I really enjoyed shopping here and its really a great location.

One of the best Uniqlo stores I've been to, great selections of so many different styles. Super clean , great service, fun Tee-shirts from NYC artists and it's a beautiful two level store. Great prices for good quality products.

Uniqlo has become my go to for business clothes and workout clothes. The Disney Springs location is huge and amazingly vibrant. But the NYC location is much better laid out. My fav purchases so far are as follows: Small - Airism Biker Shorts (W) Med- Long wide leg pleated pants (W) Med - Stretch Ankle pants (W) Med - Button up rayon shirt (W) Med - Airism shirts (W) Med - Washable knit ribbed pants (W) I love every single item I've ever purchased from this store. So affordable and comfy and stylish! I'm telling you it's dangerous lol those footsie socks are so damn comfy I never ever want to wear any other socks! It's a slight obsession lol Anyway! Check them out in store or online you won't be disappointed. Hack: if you use a cash back portal or cc deals you will always fine uniqulo popping up for those deals. They often offer $10 off of $75 coupons in the app. If you're a newbie and are in the store download the app an LD get an immediate $10 off purchase coupon. Love uniqulo! They have kids clothes as well. Great undies and sports bras and hats and bags etc they are super popular for a reason! Graphic tees are nostalgic and modern and cool Ft. Imagery like various Anime, Disney, MoMa e.g. Basquiat, Keith Hering, etc., video games like mortal combat, etc.

Can someone tell me if there is a way to find items from 2-3 years ago?

No. Not unless they re-stock the same items. If you really need to find an item you could try ebay.

I still preferred the old location near Macy's in Herald Square but can't complain too much as this…read morespot in Times Square is huge, over three floors of men's, women's, and children's clothing and accessories. Well organized, bright, spacious, and clean. I picked up a few things for summer season which were on sale. Many items I saw were on sale which they normally have throughout the year. Always some sort of sale going on top of their decent pricing. Clean dressing rooms and a public bathroom to use, but you need a staff member to let you in. Staff was nice and helpful. Plus, they have late hours here. Open until 11pm most days and until 1am on weekends.

I had purchased a bunch of stuff online, and unfortunately all of the jeans I ordered were too big (I think their size chart changed - that, or I lost weight lol). Instead of returning them, I decided to go exchange them as I really wanted them, they were just too big. This location is HUGE, which is why I decided to come here instead of the smaller one located near me. I figured there was a higher chance they would have my size in everything I was exchanging. Turns out, I was right! I took the jeans to the dressing room to try them on, and the attendant was great! She was super nice and even cleared out the few things left in the dressing room before leaving me to it. I'm finding more and more retail stores to have chaotically-messy dressing rooms these days, so this was super refreshing! After trying on the new jeans and confirming I got the right size this time, I stood in the checkout line to do the exchange. The guy who helped me was super nice! He explained that he would have to refund me for the original purchase, then charge me again for the new jeans but assured me I would get them at the same price. He explained that this is how Old Navy makes them do it and that it confuses a lot of customers (rightly so, I might add!). He also noted that it was smart of me to buy them online as I got a way better deal on them had I just purchased them in-store. Woohoo! While the exchange process took a bit longer than I had originally anticipated, it was super easy overall. Although I hate dealing with Times Square, I would definitely choose to come back to this location due to the size, the friendly atmosphere and because it's open crazy late. Definitely worth the trek, in my opinion!

However, you're buying them for a teeny tiny baby who will soon grow out of them. i don't think I care because they baby you're buying for is probably worth it. Obvi. So seriously, I walked by the store window and saw these beautiful things in the window and it was like I saw a puppy - I just had to have something. I saw the most adorable striped HALTER baby bathing suit and I thought about it and thought about it... text pictured it to a baby momma to see if she loved it and when i didn't get a response, I headed home... Well, on the subway ride home, I felt I made a terrible mistake. I kept seeing the baby bathing suit and decided I must find another just as cute option in SoHo that day... but alas, after traipsing around the West village AND SoHo, I could NOT find anything remotely as cute as this adorable adult looking but made for babies bathing suit... so I headed right back up to the Upper East Side today and snagged it with a matching sun hat. I won't tell you how much I paid though. Also, I read another person's comment about poor customer service. I'd like to say that I think this definitely depends on the day you go and who's working. Yesterday, I was met with very poor customer service, however, today, both ladies working were very accommodating. One kind sales woman went downstairs three times to get a size, find another bathing suit to show me and look for a had that would "better fit" the 8 month old I was shopping for. I appreciated this a lot. I will definitely return here to find more beautifully made baby clothes and accoutrements for my favorite little baby girl - or another lucky bundle that might steal my heart.

I called this store after finding out that I needed to buy a baby gift for a client of my company. I neither know this person nor anything about her, except that she's very pregnant and she's a lovely human being. I felt awkward about calling a 'baby place' and asking for a gift basket to be messengered. Do little babies have things messengered often? Do people who sell little exquisite baby things deal with crass people who do things like call smoky, leggy messengers to pick up petite bundles for petite bundles of joy without ever having met said bundles? I felt awkward. It's also three days before Christmas, and I can only imagine that the petite bundles of joy are filling the halls with things other than holly in this store. In fact, I imagine that the entire Upper East Side is standing there glaring at the salesperson as we discuss what to put in a basket. I have to say that the saleslady was an absolute DOLL, and so understanding; "What would you like to send in your basket?" (not that they have baskets, but because I'd asked for one, she was graciously following my lead) "Um....ionno...we just found out that she's about to have a baby, and we don't know what she's having...I'm sure SHE knows what she's having, cuz you know, it's hers....and uh...well I just don't know anything but I still have to buy something. Can you put something in a basket and let a messenger come get it? Something non gender specific? You have um, sheets? Every baby likes to poo on a good egyptian cotton, right?" She and I were crying with laughter on the phone, she was very sympathetic to my lack of baby-philic tendencies and she took care of me as smoothly as....well, you know. If I could have tipped her I would have. But I'm betting that she's beneath such things.
