I visited the massive Aritzia flagship in Midtown West (5th Ave) with my college daughter. The store is absolutely stunning and huge, but because of the size, the service felt a bit disorganized at first. I was on the hunt for a small Super Puff jacket. I kept being told the staff was looking for it, but after a long wait, they brought me an XS, which obviously didn't fit. I honestly started to feel like we were being ignored, and I was just expressing my frustration to my daughter when a manager named Helen overheard us. Helen was a total gem. She stepped in immediately to take care of us and completely changed the vibe of our shopping trip. She was so kind and even treated us to two drinks at the A-OK Cafe inside the store while we finished up. I ended up ordering the jacket online when I got home a few days later--it'll arrive in a few weeks, which is just fine by me. One thing I love about Aritzia is that the clothes are versatile enough to work for my college-aged daughter or myself! If you go, the store is beautiful to walk through, but if you run into any trouble, look for Helen. She knows how to provide true customer service! And I am serious about that. read more

I think this is one of the best Aritzia's in the city. Staff is almost always helpful and friendly, compared to other locations. Also feel like they usually have better options out on the floor, compared to the other locations. I know this location's layout a bit better than others so I can navigate it myself but whenever I need help, I hardly ever feel like I am being a burden. Their A-Ok cafe is really good! If I could give this place a 3.5 I would, and mostly because of the help I received from Anna. I came here in need a few pieces and by luck happened to ask Anna for help and about the personal shopper option. She was extremely friendly and quick to help me pull pieces that fit my body type as well as give recommendations on styling. I left the store super satisfied with my pieces and Anna and the team that was helping her were all super friendly. This location in general feels a bit calmer than other Artzia's in the city so I do tend to have more luck here. There's an array of items that feel like they can fit a multitude of body types and age ranges which I also dont always see in different locations. It was a bit difficult finding someone that could actually take a second to help me find what I was looking for, rather than just point me in different directions (i.e the first person I asked). That is why I'm so happy I ran into Anna because without her I Iikely would have just left the store. The pieces Anna helped me find were also more on the staple/higher quality side so I do feel like they'll last a bit longer, and more justified on the price point. Overall I felt really satisfied with my experience and the value of my purchase. However, I know that was primarily driven by the help I received and if I hadn't, then it'd likely be a very different story. read more

I stopped by the café at the top of the Aritzia store on 5th Ave just to take a quick break, and it turned into such a lovely experience. The space is beautifully designed--bright, clean, and the perfect spot to relax after shopping and walking for over 10 miles in the city, The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome right away. Everything looked thoughtfully curated. I ordered a fresh brewed coffee that tasted great! Overall, my experience was amazing. It's such a hidden gem and the perfect addition to the store. Was invited here for a fun first look event in the new location. Scenic, spacious for Manhattan cafe area overlooking Rockefeller Center. Beverages at the A-OK cafe included matcha and espresso beverages along with soft serve. Helpful staff members were there to assist at every point. This location is larger than the SoHo and Flatiron store with three different levels. When I went, my size was mostly in stock which was great. Ended up purchasing a reasonably priced pair of leather gloves. The only gripe I have with Aritzia is the lack of mirrors inside the changing rooms, but that's their thing so come with a friend to give you the real. I rarely leave reviews but I was blatantly discriminated and disrespected at the cafe located at 608 5th Ave, NYC, on December 21, 2025 around 6pm. My boyfriend and I went to the Aritzia cafe and ordered two hot chocolates. As we were leaving, I asked the lady I ordered from to use their restroom. The lady told me that they did not have a restroom and that I could go across the street to Sak's to use theirs. However, 10 mins prior, a Caucasian man, also a cafe customer, asked to use their restroom and the order taker asked another cafe employee to escort him to the restroom. When my boyfriend brought up the fact that the previous customer was escorted prior to us, another cafe employee chimed in and said there is a long line at the restroom. How very convenient it went from no restroom one minute to the restroom having a long line, the next minute. She did not even offer us the choice to go and wait on line. My boyfriend and I ended walking over to their rest room ourselves and there were only three customers waiting. This was downright, straight up discrimination, as I am Asian and the other customer was White. I hope this is not a policy that Aritzia condones and they educate their employees on how to be human and treat people with respect, no matter what their race is! read more

I placed and in store pick up of a coat for my daughter online. I advised the person who gave me the coat that if it doesn't fit, I will bring it back for an exchange . I went back to the store a couple of hours later, as soon as I walked in, and an associate greeted me. She asked if I was making a return, and I said yes she grabbed the bag and said I'd meet you upstairs, behind the register. I was shocked when she grabbed the bag and said it would be behind the register instead of asking me if I wanted her to do that. As I went to the second floor, I looked for what I wanted to exchange, and she immediately spotted me and said, "Your bag is behind the register." I said, "Okay," and then noticed her talking to three other associates and looking at me. I went to the register and was relieved to see that it was the same person from earlier in the day when I picked up the order. I told him about my experience and how I didn't like it at all that one my bag was grabbed from me at the entrance and that the associates were talking about me. Although he offered me a discount on my purchase, I declined because that's not what I went there for. I won't be shopping here again. Was the only person in line with my stuff behind the counter while waiting for the person in front of me to finish checking out with the one cashier open. This other girl comes up behind me with another customer and rings her up at a different register as if I wasn't already waiting in line first? And then that same girl rings me up (not sure why the first cashier I was waiting for was taking so long), no apologies for me being skipped, lol nothing. Zero stars if possible because I got physically hurt in this store by an employee. For context: every time I go to this specific location, the workers treat everyone like absolute crap. The only reason I would go to this location is because it's the closest storefront in the area I live in. I will never be returning to this location again after my last experience (posted below). I would gladly rather commute 40 min down to the SoHo location if that means I never have to deal with the abuse from this location ever again. The last time I went in there to return an item, they gaslit me into thinking the item wasn't eligible for return, when in fact it absolutely was. Then icing on top of the cake was when I was leaving the store, an employee carrying a bunch of hangers ran directly into me and the top metal piece of the hangers ended up piercing my stomach. Aritzia is one of the stores that I stopped in on 5th ave while I was in New York. I felt the store was pretty organized and has a pretty good layout. If you aren't sure you could just browse first and look around. After that see what colors you also are wanting to buy and go from there. If you still need help an associate will help you, just ask for it and they seriously can guide you to the right thing that your looking for. This store also has a pretty large fitting room and if your boyfriend, husband is here there are places they could sit in. The store is pretty friendly and if you have some money to spend you could totally come here and get quite a bit of clothes/outfits from all different styles. Tip- plenty of nice business jackets and they now even have exercise outfits too! read more

I've come here 2x in the last week and found all the girls I interacted with here to be very nice. The clothes are wildly expensive but there are some things that I love, like their super soft cozy hoodies. Both visits I was treated well, taken to the fitting room without a problem and rung up pretty quickly. My first visit it was raining and I looked like a drowned rat, and the staff was still very kind. My second visit I came from work and the staff was equally friendly so how they treat you isn't based on how you're dressed like other reviews suggest. I would definitely come again. read more

Honestly super disgusted by my experience at this location today. Typically I go to the Soho location where I am greeted with kindness and amazing customer service. However, I decided to head to this location with some friends and left feeling beyond offended. While browsing around, I held two hoodies around my arm, clearly intended to purchase. I wasn't done shopping so I continued to browse around when out of nowhere a sales associate stood behind me and said "Oh are you trying those on". I looked back and responded, "No I'm okay, thank you". I was nowhere near the fitting room and was clearly in the middle of browsing through the selection so this was odd. She continued and said "Just so you know those are final sale" and I nodded and said thank you again. I continued to try browsing but she remained behind me and this time said "I can keep your items behind the register". I looked back offended and said no. This time I walked away. As someone working in retail, this is a tactic that employees are trained to use when in suspicion of a thief. Although I was offended, I tried to continue shopping but felt annoyed at the lady who continued to follow my friends and I while we browsed. I walked around the store with a bag that couldn't even fit a water bottle, where would I possibly put two size large hoodies? I put the items back and left because I was honestly disappointed and disgusted at that point. Save yourself the trip, they don't value their customers unless you fit the standard for the brand. They held the highest respect and customer service towards certain customers but to my friends and I, all ethnic people, we received the opposite. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere and save yourself the frustrations of ever trying to return anything at this establishment. Honestly, they make it almost impossible to return anything at this store and they trap you by forcing you to take store credit so your money will always be locked in at Aritzia. Don't waste your time or money. The customer service is just as bad, and there are far too many rules for returns you've made in store, but bought the item on a discount. There are also rules for returns you've made online. And separate rules for price adjustments (which are never honored). All in all, you will never see your money again, the only way you'll see it is in store credit. It pains me when I encounter dishonest establishments such as Aritzia. Everyone who works here is SO nice! (Maybe it's a Canadian thing?) I've never bought anything from Aritzia before but needed a formal coat for a wedding and they had some cute options. Spacious and lots of selection like most stores on 5th. A little spendy but quality better than many places w similar price points, imho. I grabbed a few options off the rack, and anytime I had more than 3 items on my arm, someone would come by to help me with them and put them in a fitting room. Really cool and helpful. Once I was trying stuff on, they were great about getting me sizes and checking in but not lurking outside the room as I changed (which I hate!) Attentive but not hovering - now, that is an art! I found a new favorite clothing store! I found a new favorite clothing store! I found a new favorite clothing store! Okee, instead of just repeating that 100 times, I'll tell you a bit more. I don't like shopping for clothes. I like having nice clothes, and feeling good when I wear nice clothes, but the actual process of hunting them down? Not so much. So I'm pretty excited when I discover a store where I *enjoy* browsing and try things on, *and* come away with items that fit well and I can't wait to wear. Aritzia had some just-trendy-enough, versatile, and pretty things. I went all out and bought some skinny black pants that I can wear to work or to go out, a sheer black long-sleeve tee with a lovely feminine silhouette, two cute wool hats (now that I have short hairs, I need protection in the winter!), a soft gray jersey scarf, and... wait for it... a wool winter coat (which they didn't have in my size, so they ordered it from another location, and I'm picking it up today). ---Anyone who knows how much I hate winter coats will appreciate that. All of it was on sale. Otherwise, the goods here are a bit pricey, but so far I'm thinking they might be worth it. Mostly helpful and nice sales people. Honestly I should rat on the girls there that much because it's how every Aritzia is, so it's clearly the company culture's fault. Staff was gossiping about their own coworkers in mean ways/ talking about their sex lives while im in the dressing area with them using that God awful "communal mirror" to try to see if the pants fit. I wait patiently for one of the 5 of them to come over and help me decided if it's the right fit. Finally after 2 minutes one of them looks at me "oh do you need something?" Which is so weird because when I was shopping around, the girls were HOUNDING me to get into a fitting room. I love this store, particularly their leggings (TNA brand). I usually buy mine from Victoria's but the leggings here are more comfortable, especially around the waist. They come in different colors other than black. The ones I bought were $22! what a great deal! The staff is friendly and helpful, even letting me use the staff bathroom so I could wear my new leggings out. The bottom floor has sale clothes. They have very comfortable sweaters, sweatshirts, and t-shirts. But they also have an extensive collection of work clothes. I will definitely be returning soon for another shopping spree! read more
