I'm going to have to ding this shop for running out of 501 originals. You come to a place for their classic jeans, and they run out of them... terrible. Inside, a lot of other styles that people didn't seem to care about piled up, and colors that looked garish at best. You should have a whole wall of 501 originals in blue at all times. Staffer was apologetic at least. Back had the men's wear (women's upfront), and a changing area. Noticed that 30x30 length on the 501 straight was a lot longer than before - they could do tailoring, but I didn't want to come back. read more

Funny thing about Levi's Jeans is my parents dressed me in them. I guess growing up in the 1950's and 1960's I didn't wear any other jeans. Now I visit here to shop jackets and vests. I'm a weird collector of different brand and different color Jean Jackets. I like to own one in every color I can find. I'm partial to the classic Levi's Style. I've never had an issue at this location. It's convenient for me to get to by subway. It is also in a neighborhood with a lot of my other favorite shops. I need to return soon. Due to pandemic isolation and inactivity I'm outgrowing some of my clothes. I'm recommending you visit this store if you are a lover of Levi's Classic/Historic Brand. Over the years Levi's has really fleshed out their selection. Occasional sale but not as much as nearby Macy's so be prepared to melt your credit card here. read more

Dropped in to return an online item. I was in and out the store in under 3 minutes. I was greeted and assisted as soon as I walked in and sent to a register without having to wait on a line. I wasn't asked any questions on why I wanted to return the item and no one tried to convince me to buy anything else. The cashier was really nice. The interaction was short and sweet. read more

I had an excellent experience here. I had two separate returns on two separate days, (both were my fault for not trying the jeans on before I bought them). The team was super kind, helpful and efficient. One of the team-members remembered me from my previous visit. It's always nice to be remembered. I'm not sure if I've ever been to this Levi's store. My go to is Soho or Times Square. I must say that it looks great. Narrow, but great. I'm going to have to digress thought. I love Levi's. I have to. They used to be so amazing. Not anymore. With every pair I get the "denim" is thinner and doesn't last as long. Anyway, the store is kind of well laid out and I found people there really helpful. I did want to look at the sale section, but it was a disaster, besides there were at least 200 pairs of size 24 pants hanging out....um, why? It was the end of the day and I've worked retail, so I totally get why that section looked the way it did. I had to return some things but wanted to see if they had my size in stock. They do, but 99% of the time when I shop at the Levi's store my size is the largest, while the men's sizes go up to like 44. Also my size is always in "the back", hardly ever up front. I tried on a few items with the help of Devonjanay (sorry!) who was really helpful and patient. Since I really wanted to exchange I asked the manager if I could get the same discount I got online. He said "they couldn't do it". He offered no other reason, just that online and retail are different. Dude, it's not a franchise. It's Levi's. They're gonna make their money either way. I've done this before at another Levi's store with much better customer service, so I know that can't be true. I definitely would have bought more pants if he would have offered me the 10% extra I got from my other purchases but whatever. He didn't seem to care, as if they made their goals for the year. read more

Levi's are great! Customer service seems a bit whomped at this busy location. Found what I wanted, just wished the associate I ran into was capable of answering my question in a less dismissive manner. So, what you see is what you get here, which is still a lot! It's time square after all. They do keep the store organized enough to grant customers some autonomy, which in the end allowed me to get in and out quickly with my brand spankin' new Canadian Tuxedo. read more

I normally do not leave reviews for retail stores but I feel obligated to leave a stellar review after today. I have always had the kindest most attentive store reps walking into any Levi's location in New York (I frequent the SoHo and midtown locations), but I had an exceedingly positive experience at the 32nd St location today. The store reps are friendly, approachable, and constantly walking around asking if anyone needs help. I'd also like to give a shoutout to the manager for being so incredibly nice. Absolutely atrocious service in this store. I went in to try to replace a pair of defective jeans that I had ordered online. The first time wearing them two of the buttons fell off, mind you, this happened to me while I was at work. I ran over to the store to try to exchange them so I wouldn't be stuck wearing pants with an open fly all day. The first thing the tall male manager that I was working with said to me was "you should try a bigger size". I was baffled and beyond offended. I had ordered my usual size, and the pants fit, the buttons were clearly defective as not one but two of the buttons immediately broke off. This man should be ashamed of himself. There was nothing in store for me since I needed an extra long size, so I went back in a couple of days later to return the defective jeans. After waiting in line for 5+ minutes behind one person being checked out while two other people behind the counter neglected to help me, I was met with confusion and indifference. No one knew how to process a return for a damaged item, or they just weren't willing to help, but I was told to reach out to customer service. That's what I thought I was doing by visiting their store, as their website clearly states you can make in store returns, however no one working in this store has the first clue about how to treat a customer. Poor customer service and ridiculous return process. Two cashiers are open and when it's my turn, I let her know that I had a return. She motioned over to a third person, a man named Jovan, who I assume is the manager and said that he would process my return. He's just standing there, surveying stuff and then proceeds to pick up the phone. So I wait until he's off and go to him saying I had a return, he just looks at me and goes, "No, she'll do it."- pointing his finder at yet another cashier. YAY! Cashier tag, how fun! (NO obvs that's sarcasm). I explained that the first cashier told me to go to him for the return and he just shakes his head. What a lovely man. Fine. Whatever. I wait on line some more and finally she starts the return process, not a smile on her face but I get that, I hate smiling and being nice. What's really annoying though is that she proceeds to call in to I don't know, verify the return? This has happened before so I suppose this a LEVI'S policy of some sort but seriously? I bought it online, you'd think the process would be more streamlined... maybe the transaction occuring online instead of having the cashier stop what she's doing just to call in? Overall, customer service at this location I found lacking. It's like they all had the soul sucked out of them. They really really don't want to be there. Take my advice, go to the LEVI'S in Times Square. They're more friendly and overall more knowledgeable and helping. They even throw in a smile or two! read more

Despite being in a high traffic area and the obvious day-to-day frustrations of having to tackle the problems associated with such a location, I should think that the associates would have found a system to cope with these ordeals. This is NOT the case. I have found the staff of this particular Levi's store to be poorly trained, terse, and completely disinterested in their jobs. While trying to ask a very basic question regarding the fit of a particular garment, I was repeatedly interrupted with the same information, which I had already been made aware of, and was not pertinent to my query. For example, not a single person I talked to was polite in any regard, nor did they have the decency to actually listen to my needs. As this is the basis of customer service, I am deeply disturbed by my experience here. I hope this review is read in good faith, and that my opinion is taken constructively. I find this store lacking as an ambassador of the Levi's brand. Working in retail myself, I fully understand the daily frustration of dealing with difficult customers. However, this is no excuse for poor service. I highly encourage the management team to address these behaviors, and rectify them as quickly and as professionally as possible. read more

300th Review! Hooooo! I love me some Levi's. It's the only jeans I ever wear....511s for me please. This store is big. They have jeans of every size, style and color from the floor to the ceiling. They open early and close late which is very cool. The staff are helpful and the pricing is typcial. Be prepared to wander the store and leaving with less $ with what you came in with. read more

This store was just awful. The staff doesn't even bother to greet customers as they walk in. They do not engage with you or ask if there's anything they can help you or even smile. The customer has to approach them and even when you tell them what you are looking for they still will not help you. I was so upset I walked out and just went to American Eagle across the street, where they do know what customer service means. Not sure if store managers ever look at yelp reviews, but just in case they do, your store and employees SUCK! read more

I like this location. The ppl are nice and you can get great discounts at the sale rack - especially if there is a store-wide sale.

The associate on the floor and the one on the dressing rooms were useless. Lenny, the one on the floor, gave my wife jeans that were two sizes bigger after measuring her, that was insulting, inappropriate and unprofessional. When we asked him for further assistance he ignored us, as did the associate in the dressing rooms. Don't bother going, ended up in the H&M next door, 10 times better. Besides the aggressive sales people, this store doesn't properly post its policies. I bought a pair of jeans that were 50% off. I ended up returning them because I changed my mind. When I got to the register the cashier told me I couldn't return then because they were more than 50% off and they were final sale. I told him no one told me they were final sale and they were only 50% off. He goes to show me where it was written on the receipt. Hello genius, if your not telling me it's final sale until you give me my receipt you take away my options. Fast forward I ask for a manager he points to someone standing next to him and says he can help when he's done with the customer. The customer leaves and I'm waiting only for the cashier to tell me to go talk to him. Um no, you go get him and tell him to come talk to me. In the end I got my money back like I knew I would but I would never purchase anything from here again. Any other store tells you up front that an item is final sale, marks it on the receipt and sometimes even make you sign. Levi never again read more

extremely AWFUL customer service... went in on Tuesday 12/18/12 around 7pm to, for the 2nd time attempt to return a few items I purchased a few weeks back. all items had tags, were in original condition and accompanied by the receipt which you would think was enough. WRONG. fist time - turned away because i did not have original card used to make the purchase which was lost. fair enough... after receiving the replacement card went back and was shocked by how rude the cashier was, who started marking up my receipt before finally letting me know that "LEVI'S CANNOT ACCEPT THE RETURN IF YOU LOOSE THE ORIGINAL CREDIT CARD USED TO PURCHASE THE ITEM UNLESS YOU HAVE A LETTER FROM YOUR BANK STATING THAT YOU LOST YOUR PREVIOUS CARD AND ARE NOW USING THE ONE PRESENTED." i found this absurd for the fact that people loose their card's all the time and having to go through such a process for a simple return is completely ridiculous. so after speaking with the manager thinking she would resolve the issue ended up making it worse by initially allowing me to bring up my bank statement on my phone and once i got in to my account online said i then needed to print it out or else she would not be able do it. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS STORE. it's such a shame though love the clothes and just moved a block away but will never be doing business here again. just lost 300 dollars as well as 2 afternoon's dealing with this. not worth it. will be shopping at the very easy come, easy go, surrounding stores from here on out. read more

First time I came to this store the other day. What a disappointment....... Store is very small (few selection) and staff members have no training whatsoever. I found my size pants and I carefully took out in the the pile and this feminine guy working in the back w/ ghetto attitude walked up to me and screamed at me "You are messing up my stuff, ". W.T.F???? your stuff? When you see your size pants in front of you what do you do? Call the customer assistance to grab? That is his job to straighten things out after customers if there is job to be done. This genius doesn't realize he will lose his job if there is nothing to do. When I asked his motives he said "Just go, we are closing soon". They are closing at 10 but when I looked at my watch it was only 9:15 What a low life... I was so angry and humiliated in front of other customers, I stormed out. The manager guy stepped in, he was helpful but I was so humiliated. Bottom line? If you have to buy Levi's go to other stores. I've been in retail business long time. I will be shocked if they survive next two years, amid all these competition in the area along with incompetence. read more
