Pizza box and a brownie

This was my first visit to Dion's in Roswell. My daughter brought me here for dinner while I was in town visiting from California. Now before you roll your eyes... yes, I'm from Cali... and yes I know more about pizza than anybody else... just kidding... kinda. The place looked real clean inside and the staff was super friendly. Everyone seemed in a good mood and the vibe was laid back... which I appreciate. We got a medium "Special" and a large pepperoni. The special had green chile, mushrooms, black olives and pepperoni. Not gonna lie... it hit the spot. Cheese was gooey, toppings were solid and everything came out hot. The large pepperoni was decent too... but I felt like it needed a little something extra. Maybe a pinch of black pepper or some kind of spice to wake it up a bit. Just felt like it was playing it safe. Now the crust... that's the only real downside. It wasn't bad... just a little tougher than I prefer. I like a crust that fights back a little... not one that wins the fight. Their Dion's ranch though... that stuff deserves its own review. If you like ranch you're gonna wanna dip everything in it... including your keys. It's that good. All in all this was a good experience. I'd come back again. No major complaints. Good food. Good service. Good vibes. I think most folks will enjoy it even more than I did. --Kevin from Cali... pizza snob in recovery

Visiting the area and this was one of the best spots we found on Yelp. Ordered a Medium pizza to-go. Had to go inside and wait in line for pick-up which did not take too long. It was ready during the 20-minute time span as they quoted. The checkout team was very friendly. The place was pretty packed inside as well which adds up to their delicious pizza! We had left overs that we took home and enjoyed it even when it was cold, it was still just as good!

Everything was so delicious! Considering we're in new mexico in the middle of nowhere it's…read moredelicious!! We had a table of 4 and we ate everything!! I highly recommend the Vodka Pasta so good, i couldn't find any reviews of it so i had to try it 10/10 recommend. The servers were amazing! We noticed the serves have to make the drinks so other servers helped serve our food since our server was busy making drinks. We didn't get a second batch of bread which sucks but they were pretty busy.

Was torn between the ravioli and the lasagna. Saw they had bechumel sauce for the lasagna but also…read morericotta on it so I ordered it. Was very disappointed. No ricotta that I could detect and around 8 or nine layers of noodles. Hardly any filling. And the sauce wasn't good. Tasted a bit bitter and didn't have much flavor. Seems like they just used off the shelf sauce and added meat to it but they didn't drain the meat well as the sauce was oily. Didn't finish it. Garlic knots were good tho. Ordered creme brule for dessert and they went overboard with the torch the caramelized sugar was slightly burnt and way too thick and hard. You couldn't break it apart with your spoon and the excess heat turned the up layer of the custard into a thin granular mess. Only had two bites of it. If you are going to be an Italian restaurant that isn't a chain you need to do a much better job and make your sauce from scratch
