I really enjoy Dions, I live closest to this location so I'm partial to it, I love that I can pick up my order in their drive through, but if you do dine inside I love the stained glass light covers and comfy booths. Dions does both salad and pizza extremely well, I loooove a green chile cheese pizza with mushrooms, and the chicken caesar salad. Their ranch is out of this world (and I am quite the ranch snob)! Their green chile ranch is packed with large chile chunks, but it isn't too spicy. Really you can't go wrong at Dions! I also love that no matter where you are in the city you are always close by a Dions!

Two issues I had with my salad-- One being that they should use baby spinach for salads so we don't need to cut our salads to eat it. These are huge and should be used for cooking, in my opinion. Second, better training or someone running quality control. I had 2 tiny pieces of romaine lettuce, a teaspoon of turkey shredding slopped with cheese and veggies. There were so many huge pieces of spinach packed into this bowl I didn't bother eating it. Wasn't really a salad I could eat. The pizza was good but a little heavy on the oregano.

Usually I'd rate this location a 5 but this time I'm going to give it a 4 due to having to wait 45 minutes for my order. We ordered salad, pizza and two sandwiches. I thought the salad would come out first. It came out the same time as my pizza. Overall not an awful experience just a minor inconvenience.

I was so excited to try Dion's since my boyfriend used to work there years ago. We just ordered online & went through the drive thru. Service was quick! The lemonade is phenomenal!! Very fresh! I loved it so much! For food, I ordered a small Greek salad. It was so good! This was probably one of my favorite salads I've had in a very long time! I loved the kalamato olives in this & the dressing. We ordered one slice of cheese pizza to try that & it was good. We also ordered the cheesy bread to share as well. This large portion was big enough to share. There were 8 pieces & we were able to share it with 4 people easily. We could have put toppings on this, which I thought was pretty cool but we ended up just getting regular cheese & some pizza sauce & ranch sauce on the side. I want to try their subs next time!!! & that salad, I will be dreaming about it until I return.

I grew up with Dion's and it's an Albuquerque staple that has grown to other cities/states. The service was fast and polite. The dining area hasn't changed in the 25+ years that it's been there, but it's clean. I had a sticker shock as sandwich prices were about $11. In very recent memory the sandwich ran about $7. Good Albuquerque place for a casual meal.

Dion's definitely has the pizza business figured out. As you enter, you see pizzas being prepared; there's even a step up so my grandson could watch. You order at the counter and they call your name when it's ready. Lots of seating with big booths and tables of different sizes is divided into sections. The pizza was excellent; the ingredients were fresh and plentiful.

We was looking for a place to eat for dinner. And we saw this cafe on the corner. Called Dion's so we said let's give it a try. We had no idea it was a pizza place. And WOW what an awesome Pizza restaurant. They don't have waiters so when you walk in you just place your order. But on the way to order you can see them tossing the pizza dough and having a great time. We ordered a large 1/2 special & 1/2 pepperoni on the Gourmet crust with a nice dinner salad. Both were delicious. Definitely going vs k when I'm in the area!!

Came here all the time as a kid before I moved states, and it's still as perfect as I remember. Got 2 simple cheese slices, they came out quickly, and were absolutely delicious. And the little platform to watch them make the pizza is so fun!

They had an insane pizza deal on Fridays. Was the pizza amazing? No, but the deal was! Wings, pizza, salad, AND a dessert! All for $30. Crazy!! They also had crazy pastry deals like buy a dozen donuts get a dozen free! The first time we went, we had an incredible experience. Incredible! That first experience was so good that it kept us coming back. Yet, Every. Single. Time. We went back we had issues. Some of the issues we've experienced included: losing our order, waiting over an hour for our food, attitudes on the phone, and outdated information on their website. When they lost our ticket order we waited (not exaggerating) OVER an hour for our food. They didnt even apologize lol I'm not looking for a comp on food, but damn not even an apology? We waited there, in person, at the restaurant. Another time I called to order a muffaletta. The girl on the phone had no idea what I was talking about. Then she said there's no such thing on the menu that sounds like that. I get put on hold. I wait for 6 minutes then someone else answers the phone and says it's not the day of the special (they changed it). I call to order a sub. They no longer make subs past a certain time, but that's not updated on the menu on their website. We call and at times no one answers the phone. So we have to call a few more times to only have the phone answered by an exasperated employee. I can't keep up with Sergio's. Sergio's has left us in the dust lol I truly wanted to love this place. The food is good, the prices great, and the first time we went was so fantastic that we held onto that experience despite all the issues that kept happening afterwards. I think we're gonna stick with Yeller Sub & Tully's going forward. Also, if you are looking for delicious Italian dishes be sure to check out Il Localetto Rossi in Nob Hill.
