If you like thick crust, this is the place to go in Burbank. Even the bad slice of Dino's (my friend always used to order a bunch of vegetables I don't like), it has good fundamentals. And they will put anything you want on there. That variety has a drawback-- the lasagna pizza isn't really a lasagna, just an attempt to glue your artery shut-- but with dozens and dozens of options, it's up to you what you get. Amazing! So crispy and delicious. Plentiful with toppings and the crust/bread is freshly made and baked! Most tasty and authentic NYC tasting pizza. Seriously. I can't believe it took me this long to follow the recommendations on other apps. Also, we accidentally said "anchovies" instead of "black olives" when ordering (only discovered through conversation about 10min after ordering). When I ran back in to see if we could intercept the order, it had already been placed in the oven. Although no one (Dino's staff nor I) was happy about the situation they graciously offered to start a new pie without charge. I was not expecting that gesture and I offered numerous times to pay for the mistake. Needing to satisfy my wife's pizza fix on our tour of SoCal, we went to Dino's in Burbank, which purportedly serves some of the best pies in town. The online reviews were correct--Dino's delivers. We ordered an extra large with Canadian bacon and Roma tomatoes (and pineapples on the other half for our son). After a reasonable wait, the pizza arrived piping hot and cheese gooey as hell. The first winning trademark of Dino's pizza is its crust (we ordered the regular)--completely crispy on the top and bottom and slightly burnt, but somehow melts in your mouth. It could have used more salt, but one of the best crusts I have encountered. The second is the sauce. Almost like marinara and it looked and tasted like it was made freshly in-house. The cheese was equally excellent and the three of us demolished our XL pie like champs. Quick and friendly service rounded out our visit. (4 stars). read more

The worst customer service ever!!! Do not come here, go somewhere else!!!! I spoke with the manager, and he quickly tried to dismiss the problem. He rather give personal advise and blame everybody else rather than giving you a good service or a basic service. Maybe he needs to retire because you can tell he doesn't care about customer needs. There is never parking because they share the space with an Auto Shop. Their establishment smells like an old mechanic's office. THEY ARE ALWAYS LATE delivering your order. I placed a large order, gave them TWO DAYS WARNING to be ready and paid in advance and they still gave me the order 30 minutes after the promised time. They didn't seem that busy at pickup time but NONE OF THE BOXES WERE MARKED, so we didn't know what kind of pizza was in each box until we opened them and spent about 10 minutes reading the menu and trying to pair each pizza to a name so our crew would know what they were eating. It turns out this people cannot anticipate the customer needs and you have to ASK THEM to mark the boxes... assuming that I read minds and can tell just by looking at a closed box what is inside or that I know their entire menu and can name the pizza just by looking at it! --- Worst business practice. --- The establishment has to ASK THE CLIENT.... This is a pizza place but the SALADS are amazing! So many to choose from and they are huge! I feel like some updating could be done with the interior seating. The dining area looked happily crowded with a family vibe feel. For such an iconic burbank pizza joint, I'd personally like to see an update. Fresh paint and new furniture and artwork on the walls would help bring this place to its former glory. The drink choices are just as big as the salad choices but what I'd like to see is maybe a larger cooler fridge for the drinks so it doesn't look like you are actually in the fridge with the cafeteria shelves adjacent to the register counter. The service is quick and friendly which makes it a pleasant visit! The place is located on the corner and the parking lot is shared with a car repair shop. Second update, pandemic-style. What ever would we do without Dino's. Thank goodness they're serving during this awful time. Ignore any review that's less than five stars because those writing those reviews clearly no nothing about pizza and by pizza I mean REAL pizza, not some designer crap that shouldn't even be called pizza. Dino's, as I've said repeatedly (but it's been eleven years since my last update), is the real deal - why? Because they have the sauce, it's that simple. Great pizza happens because the sauce is right. I've had pizza everywhere and only Dino's get's the sauce just right. Add the right amount of cheese, always great pepperoni and voila, you're in for a treat and I have never had anything less than a great pizza at Dino's. And I can also recommend their California salad with their Eyetalian dressing - really good. And now, a funny Postmates story: I ordered last week via Postmates as Dino's is a bit of a drive I didn't feel like making. Now, you order a medium pizza and get a list of toppings and stuff. I scrolled down and checked what I thought was pepperoni. The pizza arrived, I couldn't wait to dive in, and I open the box and am greeted with green stuff all over my pizza and not a pepperoni in sight. Say what? I was ready to bring the hounds of hell on everyone involved. I went to the Postmates site and looked at the order, which clearly said pepperoncinis. Say what? So I went back to the menu and yep, pepperoni is BELOW pepperoncini and they look almost exactly the same. I tried to pick off those little suckers as I don't like the kind of spicy - it was a losing game, but I still managed to eat three slices and they were great. The End. read more
