The Taro flavor is real and doesn't taste artificial flavor. . The boba is flavorful with some honey tasting. Also warm and chewy. . The inside is simple yet clean and organized. Love the floral interior wall which is great for fun pictures or like background for social media. . The parking lot outside is great with lots of parking. They offer 25% discount on a medium signature milk tea only, for the Boba Bracket. I ended up ordering a large wintermelon milk tea (non dairy base), with less ice. I was asked if I wanted my drink water based or green tea based; I went with green tea. It was sweetened perfection with that nice, traditional wintermelon flavor that I love. The boba was the right level of chewy and sweet. The cashier was nice and was helpful. I do like there's a speaker attached to the plexiglass barrier. I had a hard time hearing her at some points. Before paying, I'm asked to confirm my order is correct on a screen. Nice! Ding Tea is a forgotten boba place on my list but we ate dinner in the shopping center today so we finally made our return. We ordered a taro with cheese cream and a peach milk tea. The taro with cheese cream was delicious but on the sweet side. It had so much ice that my husband finished drinking it before we even got to the car! My peach milk tea was tasty but the 50% sweetness was too low, so now I know that 75% is probably the ideal level there. During the pandemic they adapted to an online ordering system only so that can be a little annoying if you didn't know and showed up in person and try to order in person. I've been to Ding Tea twice now. It's located in a strip mall next to BurgerIm and Suki Sushi. The first time I had their brown sugar milk tea with boba, which was good. Their boba is fresh and chewy. The drink was on the sweet side, but I'm a new fan of milk tea, so I like it sweet lol. Their brown sugar boba latte looks cool, but I'm not really sure what's in it and I saw reviews that it looks better than it tastes, so I followed another Yelpers suggestion to get the signature milk tea and add the syrup around the cup. It was really good (and sweet), but I'm not sure I would get it again. It kept me up til 4am hahah. The place is always packed with teenagers hanging out and they play loud music. The decor is a little over the top. There were Christmas decorations along with a floral wall and a giant mural. Kinda weird lol but doesn't really matter. Their boba has a great texture, and they have been able to maintain their consistency at each of our visits. I like that you can taste the tea in their drinks since they're not as heavily loaded with syrup compared to some other places. This is my third visit here, and I've been able to try different, solid drink choices! This time, I went with the Medium Top Fruit Tea (~$4) with 50% sugar. The top fruit included passionfruit, strawberry, and pineapple mixed with a green tea. Based on their opening weekend, I think they're potentially a promising contender against the existing establishments in the area. The interior is small, probably seating about 20-25 people. It's very nicely decorated, with a large mural on one side, a nice floral backdrop with neon sign that says "live colorfully" in pink, and cute artificial succulents on the wall throughout the location. I came here on both the soft opening day (Friday, Oct. 12, 2018) and the grand opening day (Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018). The first day led me to believe that they weren't very generous with their boba portion, but they seemed to include more boba on the 2nd day. The boba is a good texture. Their cup sizes are small in comparison to other places; the upgraded size is around the same size as other places' regular size. I've tried the Taro Latte, Brown Sugar Boba Latte, and Jasmine Green Milk Tea; my favorite of these drinks was the Brown Sugar Boba Latte. I'll return to Ding Tea in the future. read more

Anyways, my date and I decided to still give it a try since we were there already. My date got the Hokkaido milk tea and I got their signature milk tea with boba. The Hokkaido milk tea was not good. I stopped by during work because it's Friday, so why not. They have self-ordering kiosks, which made it easy to see what they offer. I got a creme brulee latte with golden boba and popcorn chicken. I came in on a Friday afternoon and there weren't a lot of customers. Since it was my first time, the cashier was helping me pick something new and unique which I've never had before. I settled on a Hokkaido Black Milk Tea (caramel) with 25% sweetness. Even though it was only 25%, it was still pretty sweet. I'll probably just have it 0 sweetness next time since the caramel is sweet enough. In looking at the menu, there wasn't anything which would distinguish this place from the myriad of tea places in the area. It's food and drink menu are standard. The decor definitely caters to the IG crowd. I took my share of photos in front of their flower background. I got an order of popcorn chicken which was extremely salty and needed the ranch dressing to cut through the sodium. Being as unremarkable as it was, I'll most likely won't be back any time soon, especially because the music they played was pretty offensive. I'm not a prude when it comes to music with graphic lyrics. However, when the music talks about explicit sex acts in such graphic detail that even I was in disbelief.
