The drinks here are pretty good most of the time. There were two times when my drink was kind of watered down. I ordered it with regular ice, so I was surprised that I couldn't really taste the actual tea that much. But other than those two instances, all of my other visits were great. My top two drinks are the honey milk tea and jasmine milk tea. The honey milk tea is definitely on the sweeter side, but it's so delicious! I've tried other drinks, but I always go back to those two. The boba is always cooked perfectly, and I love how they use golden boba even though it tastes the same as regular boba lol Ever since quarantine started, they've been super busy, so I typically call in my order and do curbside pickup. I come here waaaay too often lol! This ding tea is always consistent with their drinks and service. My go-to drinks are usually their grapefruit green tea w/ crystal boba or signature milk tea w/ golden boba and they always get it! If you come here often like me, they also have an option for you to enter your number in so you can collect points to receive a free drink. The staff always lets you know that if there's a problem with the drink that they will fix it which is super kind. The inside is cute, very much decorated so you can take your instagram pics. They want to ensure a high level of satisfaction from start to finIsh. From ensuring that you are apart of their rewards program to ensuring that you enjoy your drink. One of things that sticks out is when you receive your drink they mention "if there is any problems with your drink please let us know ". Not many places do that. I got two drinks . The first is my go to drink Brown sugar milk tea 50% with boba . It was wonderful and I had no complaints The second drink was Strawberry Green Tea , which was my first time trying it (the staff member recommended it to me). I was hesitant at first but I gave it a shot and they recommended it at 50-75% sweetness. So I had it at 50. This drink was amazing . The crisp taste or the tea with the strawberry did wonders . It wasn't too sweet and it was nice and cold . Overall I had a pleasant experience . Definitely going to be coming back I definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys boba ! read more

Legit Taiwanese bubble tea shop in Dallas! If you check its website you will find that ding tea is originally from a Taiwanese chain where you can see them all over in Asia and Taiwan. Sometimes when the Taiwanese tea shop expands to North America and you can taste that the bubble tea is no longer as good. However, Ding tea is not disappointing . We ordered the original bubble milk tea (OG!) And the peach green tea. Very similar to what you can get in Taiwan. Top of my list! read more

Ding Tea is one of my favorite places for boba, so I'm very happy that they opened one near campus (I think they give student discount too if you show your id). My go to is always the Oolong Milk Tea at 0% sugar or the Wintermelon Milk Tea at 50% sugar. I do have to say though... their Wintermelon Milk Tea tastes different from the Garland location's. The Garland location's has a strong flavor. This location's taste more watered down. My friend who gets the same drink also thinks this too, so it's not just my taste buds being weird. The decor is cute and simple, but the store is pretty small. So, when it gets busy, it can get crowded and tables fill up fast. Also, always get the golden boba. It tastes so much better than the regular black boba. All in all, Ding Tea will always be one of my favorite chains. I'll definitely be here often. read more

A lot of people were talking about the artichoke tea, so I was curious to try it. It involves different jellies/toppings in artichoke tea (which I didn't even know existed). The drink was good, but I couldn't really tell the artichoke flavoring? The highlight was the different types of jellies inside. I actually enjoyed my husband's drink more, which was a passion fruit juice with aloe vera, which wasn't too sweet and had a nice flavor. This boba spot is very nice and clean, and also spacious with a good amount of seating inside. The staff is pretty friendly as well. I was a fan of Ding Tea while I was living in CA, but I do have to say I have discovered more better boba places in the area. I got a lychee Yakult ( my usual order ) at Ding Tea but this time I wanted to see the new location by UTD since I was passing by. The drink was good! The only problem I had was the ice amount. I specifically asked for less ice & I always do this with any drink whether it's boba or coffee bc I don't like my drink tasting too watered down towards the end & also bc I don't like tasting ice. But they gave me like ALL ice ): I drink my boba pretty slow so this was a little disappointing considering the drink was practically done within 10-15 mins bc of all the ice in there. I can taste the ice particles LOL. But overall it's not bad, just please make sure to give less ice next time plsss. 50% ice does not mean fill it to the rim with ice haha read more

Mark my words, this place is on the come up. It's a little far from where I actually live but I came after I saw on Ad on Facebook for a new boba spot next to UTD. It was quite busy and it seemed like business was okay considering they had just opened up, the store was almost full and they had a decent line. I picked up a variety of drinks for me and my family including the Signature Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Milk Tea and the Passion Fruit Green Tea. Each drink was completely different from one another and trust me this is as good as it gets. The decor was aesthetically pleasing and was not "all up in your face" like in some other places I've been. The staff was very friendly and even offered to remake my drink if there was anything wrong with it, not many boba places will do that unless there's something vastly wrong with the drink. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with boba at Ding Tea Richardson. I used to go to the Garland branch, but decided to go to the Richardson one since it's closer. The brown sugar milk tea was DELICIOUS. It's by far my favorite brown sugar drink since it's still milk tea but has the nice sweetness and flavor of brown sugar. The boba itself isn't super soft though, but the same as the garland branch. I think the drink would be even better with a bit less ice as well. The size of the cup is really nice though! I believe you get a bigger cup size than the garland branch for the SAME PRICE! Ding Tea Richardson also has a very nice interior. I could see myself going there with friends to hang out once COVID gets better. Glad Ding Tea came closer to where I live! read more

Checked this place out for the grand opening near UTD. I've got to say that this is a smart location as it's right next to the bookstore we got supplies at while we were in college. Near the college campus, this area is starting to pop up again and another Ding Tea showing up is going to create some cannibalism. On to the ambiance. The location is nice, no complaints and very clean as of now. It is spacious and people are able to study or hang out with their friends. Just because I haven't gone during a normal time, I don't know how busy it'll potentially be and if I always have to wait a while before getting to order. Nonetheless, I think it'll come together.
