As I walked in, there was no staff nearby or elsewhere on the floor, so I went straight to the buffet and grabbed a plate and later realized there really isn't much service at this place. Dimassi's buffet has a wide selection of items that you desire in Mediterranean offerings and the good thing is it caters equally good to both the Vegetarian and Non-veg. I wasn't crazy about the atmosphere; the tables are placed as if they were just unloaded from a truck and somehow it felt loud and humming inside but the food was pretty decent. They salads were plentiful and fresh and they have all kinds of sauces that goes with salad, pita bread and falafel; the hummus, however was salty. I liked the dolmas and most of the vegetables. There were many varieties of chicken and most of them were alright. The gyro was good and so was the fish. Their Mediterranean rice was awesome. The baklava and other dessert items were really good. It feels somewhat expensive but considering the fact it includes dessert, fountain drink, coffee, it seems alright to go here once in a while. read more

This establishment in Irving, Texas, has been my preferred choice for an all-you-can-eat Mediterranean Buffet. The selection of meats, including chicken, fish, lamb, and beef, used to be diverse. However, in my recent visits, I've noticed a consistent issue - all the meats are consistently dry and burnt. It seems that they aren't replenishing the meat as promptly as they should. I took the initiative to share my observations with the staff, and they were responsive, acknowledging the feedback graciously. Despite receiving positive responses three times, the situation did not improve. The desserts, particularly the baklava and semolina cake, also suffer from the same issue - they lack freshness and are noticeably dried out. On a positive note, the restaurant's ambiance is commendable, and the staff is generally responsive. Regrettably, the subpar quality of the food significantly detracts from the overall dining experience. read more

Not the best experience by any means. Probably won't be going back. Horrible service, and horrible food. All the plates on the buffet line were obviously not cleaned correctly. I had to change plates multiple times because the backs were filthy with food stuck on. The girl at the front paid little attention to the guests that came in to be seated. As for the food, the lentil soup was poorly maid, and had been sitting quite a while due to the dry ring around the soup container. The dolmas obviously come from cans, and the deserts were cheaply made as well. The only reason I gave it two stars was for the fresh and warm bread and for the beverage station. Tables are dirty, bathroom is dirty and staff is not friendly. read more

Google selects the wrong reviewer, So, I leave my comment as it is. Salad, vegetables, and fruits were good, BUT, MOST of the food on the buffet, were COLD. Lamb shanks used to be delivered from the kitchen to the customers in ONE piece and HOT. But, this time, on 2/25/2023, they were broken in pieces, poured on a huge tray, placed on a higher level of buffet, apparently no heat coming from ANY side of this tray. Their soups were the only items which were hot. I was embarrassed in front of my guests because we all were expecting HOT food, and there was none. Should have gone to Olive Garden that night. $21.99 per person, was NOT worth it. read more

Small buffet, but quite delicious. The Tabouli and Artichoke Salad were absolutely delicious and Couscous definitely worth having. The beef had great flavor, but was pretty dry. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the kabob chicken, kafta kabob, and gyro meat - all quite divine. My only disappointment was that none of the hot items were really all that...hot. Warm is even a stretch. There needs to be a better option to keeping the items hot because the flavor is so savory! Wouldn't have complained if I'd gotten a refill on my water. There are a few times in life when a meal is so expertly crafted and my visit to dimmasi was one of these times ,every thing was bright and clean ,the food was really fresh and tasty ,the service was amazingly great ,the guy behind the counter was really nice and the tables guy works neatly ....i am coming back for sure read more

One of the best Mediterranean buffets in the entire Dallas metroplex. The staff is extremely nice the food is very delicious and the price is very reasonable. If you are looking to have a great lunch/dinner with a group of friends, I highly recommend you to take a visit. read more

One of the best halal restaurants in the DFW area!! We have made this our monthly stop. Price is fairly reasonable as well. Sometimes the food gets a little cold but the taste is still pretty good. read more
