Great Dinner as always at DiMaio. Very enjoyable experience from beginning to end. The service is always very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant vibe is what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. If you want a great meal. This is the best dine in experience in BH and local areas

I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. She made a reservation for a large round table by the window. When I arrived, I noticed they have two entrances in the front. The door on the right leads to the DiMaio's Pizzeria section. This is where you can place an order for Pizza, Stromboli, Calzones, Hot and Cold Subs,Pasta Dishes and more for take out only. The door on the left leads to the actual restaurant where you can sit down and be served. This is a BYOB which I love. I was immediately greeted by an our server I believe her name is Paola. She was very friendly and attentive. DiMaio's has a good amount of tables for dining in. The restaurant itself has a casual, subtle and warm vibe. I found it very relaxing. This place is family friendly, and Wheelchair Friendly. They can also accommodate vegetarians. When you arrive there's a few spots in the front, 2 handicapped spots, and a few regular spots with remaining parking in the back around the side of building. This restaurant has been around for at least 45 years. It's has been a staple in the Berkeley Ht's area. For starters some of us chose their Tomato, Cucumber, and Feta Salad. The rest chose their House Salad with shaved Parmesan on it. Both salads were very good. Hot Rolls with Butter were also put on the table. For my Entree I chose their Rigatoni and Chicken Alla Serafino-Sundried tomato, broccoli, mushrooms, peas. It had a light flavor and subtle components. One of my friends chose their Chicken Valdostana- it was served with mushrooms, prosciutto & Asiago cheese. My friend ate every morsel.Another friend chose for her Entree Chicken Marsala-mushrooms and Marsala wine, she enjoyed it.Another friend chose for her Entree Seafood Marinara-shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, and calamari. Again, everyone enjoyed their meal. The food is good here. We found for the area the food was pricey. Their chicken Francese was $29. The Seafood Marinara was $39. The other thing I found interesting was there was a charge to serve our own birthday cake. $2 per person. We decided to let the birthday girl take it home and enjoy it with her family. We just ordered desserts we picked off their tray. They were delicious , but for the price they were small portions which ranged between $11-$13 apiece. That's definitely pricey for dessert. They do catering and parties here. I've had their pizza, and it's decent too. They make a good Grandma Pie.

Old school Italian cooking & pies. My margherita was great. I prefer well donesp will ask next time. The chicken parm was delicious. Great sauce and pasta. Will bring the wife here next time for date night. Support local & small businesses.

Pizza takeout review only. Unfortunately our go-to pizza place in Long Hill township was closed for a summer vacation week so we tried these guys out. Large plain pie. Not even close. Sorry, just not that good in my opinion. It was undercooked and had a weird flavor. The dough seemed like frozen store bought. Maybe a bad night but 0-1 in my book.

My foodie colleague made a reservation at Dimaio. We had short wait for our table which was a good thing because this is a restaurant where you brown bag your wine/booze. Good thing there is a wine store a half block away. Wine in hand, Sara our server opened our bottles while we discussed the menu. They have many Italian favorites that are not listed on the menu but can be prepared for you I.E. Chicken Marsala. We ordered the Pork Chop, Chicken Parmigiana, Rigatoni with Sausage all the entrees came with salads & bread. The chicken & pork chop was so tender. Everything was delicious. We were talked into dessert. The cheesecake was so light, Chocolate Mousse was delightful, the Tiramisu tasty & the Limoncello was divine. This place is no frills, good Italian and filled with locals enjoying food & friends.

So glad that the front desk at the hotel had this restaurant on their list of near by recommendations. Being from AZ I was not sure how we would handle the outdoor dining in 28 degree weather. But the tent was well lit, comfortable and very worn. Each table had their own heater directly above. The menu was amazing. So may good choices, everything looked delicious. I went with the salmon piccata and it was delicious! The service was excellent and I look forward to coming back again next time I am in town.

From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Our server was attentive and professional, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and quietly classy--ideal for a relaxed lunch and conversation. I started with the Candy Roaster Squash & Coconut Soup, a vegan dish with a warm, sweet, and hearty flavor profile. It was absolutely perfect on a cold winter day. For my entrée, I ordered the Brewer's Burger with pepper jack cheese, caramelized onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato, rosemary aioli, and a side of frites. The flavors came together beautifully--salty, sweet, and savory notes all working in harmony. Truly a dance in your mouth. One additional detail worth noting: the gender-neutral accessible restroom was spotless and had a very pleasant odor. It was top-notch, just like everything else about this restaurant. I would absolutely return.

The Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Quesadilla had solid heat, melted pepper jack, pickles for snap, and a ranch drizzle that kept it balanced. The food was strong across the board, and their lineup of in-house brews added a unique twist. We enjoyed the visit and will absolutely come back to explore more of the menu.
