I enjoyed everything I tried here. The staff are friendly, and the food comes pretty fast. It's a pretty casual spot to eat, with lots of seats. The prices are amazing! Steamed Pork/Crab Meat Soup Dumplings: not the best I've had but it was still good Shanghai Wonton Soup: a bit bland, but still a good soup on a cold day Beef Pancake: crispy, fried exterior filled with meat Golden Lava Bun: love these so much as a dessert Spicy Pan Fried Dumplings: comes with 4, each was so big

Would love to give this a 3.5! I've been wanting to try this for awhile and after my brother's recommendation my boyfriend and I decided to try it. The menu was not the easiest to navigate or read. It felt kind of cluttered and minimal in options. I've only had dim sum once before and recognized some of the dishes from my past experience but they also had a lot of the Chinese dishes that you can find at your neighborhood Chinese restaurant. My boyfriend really wanted dumplings so we ordered the pork soup dumplings which were very good. I wanted the crab and cheese Rangoon- this was terrible. It was mostly dough and maybe had a 1 tsp amount of cheese filling that tasted fishy. No crab detected. Just pass on this, it was bad. We also ordered pork fried rice and sesame chicken - more basic staples. There was just two of us and the food was fairly filling but I would like to try more dumplings later ! The staff was nice but seemed very hurried. The inside was pretty and very crowded. They didn't have a drink menu so we just got water- not sure what else they had available. They also have one of those little robots and it literally pushed the entire table that was connected to ours. Obviously not very great. I think overall this has potential to be very great but maybe could use some fine tuning. They also do charge a 3% fee for credit cards - as they note upon entering. They also do takeout and the food delivery apps which also seemed to be busy!

I was craving dim sum and so we ended up here. It's not quite the same dim sum experience as in Philly, but I don't mind. It is a nice break being able to order from a menu and enjoy a quieter atmosphere. Dim Sum Factory has nicely decorated interior. The service was good, including the robot delivery. The dim sum dishes were delicious. We ordered a variety of classic ones. The soup dumplings didn't disappoint. The beef brisket noodle soup, however could be a lot better. The broth isn't as flavorful. It was somewhat bland and overly sweet. The sweetness did not come from hours of cooking beef bones. Overall, we had a good experience. We will definitely come back to try new dishes. P. S. The tea we had was a rice tea of sorts. It reminded me of the ones from Korean restaurants. There should be a stronger tea option. P. S. S. The disposable chopsticks sucks. It would be nicer to have real ones.

Traveling the country in search of dim sum restaurants I tried this place on a visit to the Philadelphia area. The place was not too busy for a Friday lunch, with many tables available. Given the name of the restaurant, I was surprised to see not too many dim sum options. The overall quality was average, but the exciting part was watching the dim sum come out on a robot. Overall an average dim sum tasting experience with limited options.

We had the vegetable stir fry noodle and the pork soup dumplings! Both were excellent and super hot! Service was fast and not rushed. Would definitely go back and get this again :)

This is really nice restaurant serving a variety of authentic dim sum as well as rice and noodle dishes. The place is not too crowded when I visited but the plaza where the restaurant is located has limited parking and pretty busy place due to the number of other shops in the plaza. The service staff was really helpful and courteous. It's a family-friendly restaurant too as I saw several families with young kids dining in there. The Cumin Fried Noodles was really nice and tasty too. The sticky rice ball dessert was really good, though I personally find it a little too sweet. But overall a great dining experience. Definitely worth coming back if I'm back in the area.

*Indoor dining review* Our group (10+ people) has a quarterly get together at different restaurants, this time we decided to go try Dim Sum Factory, since couple of our friends have already been here and said the food is good. While the food was good, the service was lacking...almost chaotic. Restaurant: 4/5 Service: 2/5 Food: 4/5 Parking: Free parking lot ~Restaurant~ The restaurant is decorated beautifully. It has plenty of tables for different party sizes. It also has a private party room in the back for large parties 30-40 people maybe. ~Service~ Our reservation was at 12PM on a Saturday, it was not that busy at all by the time we sat down. They take your orders via handheld tablet, and Food delivery is via Robot. There is sure sign of Chaos in the kitchen. While we might think there is no way orders would get messed up, we were very wrong. We received couple of items we did not ordered, as well as we received some how 6 orders of Pork dumplings vs just 4 Pork dumplings, 1 Crab Meat and 1 Chicken dumpling. When we checked the receipt at the end, looks like everything was correct, just the food we received was not. We decided not to mention about the food, since by the time we received our food the restaurant was pretty busy, and the food wasn't bad. If it was wrong and bad, we might have said something. ~Food~ Overall all the food were good. We order an assortment of items... couple of Shumai's, Chicken skewer and Fried Pork Chop. But majority of our orders were Soup Dumplings (Spicy Pork Dumplings, steamed crab meat pork dumplings and steamed Chicken soup dumplings.) In conclusion, If you not in Philadelphia Chinatown and would like to try Soup dumplings, this is a good place to try. But It is not as authentic compare to Dim Sum restaurants in Philly, because the menu is very limited. Example: Jade Harbor, Ocean Harbor, China Gourmet, where you would get a lot more items for a much better price.

As many others have written, there are no standout Chinese and Japanese restaurants in Lower Bucks and NE Philly. We tried the Dim Sum Factory in Horsham a few times years ago, and good meals each time, but over time it had gotten more crowded, parking became a pain, and due to the crowding, it was louder and not a relaxed atmosphere; so we stopped. Didn't realize until last night while searching for a place for dinner that Dim Sum Factory had other locations. As other Yelpers wrote, this Dim Sum Factory on Krewstown Rd was nowhere as busy hence, a quieter more relaxed environment, with ample off-street parking. We came early, arrived at 5 PM and the place was surprisingly empty but shortly after we arrived others came and by the time we left, I'd say 1/2 the tables were occupied; did notice they do a fair amount of takeout. This is a far smaller-sized restaurant and perhaps the larger share of the business is takeout. That said there was only 1 server handling tables as takeout and she was terrific; cool, calm, and friendly. We did not feel as though we waited a long time between dishes as we didn't order everything at once; we like to pace out our meals. This comes with that negative feel of other places that want the full order, and claim to pace but don't; hence feel as though they need to turn the table on a timer. Nuff about this stuff, let's get to the food it was fresh, beautifully plated, and very tasty. We were very much pleased and will be back now that we have found a suitable place. Just a longer drive, hence we drive for our good meals. We opened with the pork soup dumplings, 6 pieces, we long ago learned how to properly enjoy soup dumplings. Made with care and no skimping on meat or broth in the dumpling. Next, we had the HK-style Shumai, 4 pieces, big pieces at that. We prefer smaller more delicate dumplings. These per the photo are large and the meat is more packed, and more solid than we like; nonetheless, it was a good dish, especially with the dumpling sauce, which gave them a sweater flavor. Next, we had the spring roll, 2 pieces, not usually my favorite, is my wife's, but I will say it was not over-fried and not greasy; all pluses in my book. We then shared the chicken with garlic sauce and added eggplant- this was a hit. All the fresh and interesting vegetables, the textures, and the peppers gave it flavor.... the eggplant was a nice addition. The best dish we had this evening. We also had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, not my thing, more my wife's. I picked out the veggies, pork, egg, and the huge clean tasty shrimp. See our photos. Will be back again.

There was also a robot that now brings out the meals with a pretty obnoxious song that plays as it travels throughout the restaurant. The rest of the food was great though and I was pleasantly surprised with the spicy soup dumplings! It was quite a unique experience as we've never had dumplings with broth in them and the flavor was amazing. It was a little too spicy for my wife but I thought they were phenomenal. The staff here is always very pleasant and the prices for all the dumplings are absolutely fair. The regular entrees aren't really worth it when you could get more for the same price and quality at any Chinese takeout joint. This is somewhere to go for unique dumplings and fun desserts, we will be back!

The food came out quickly, was hot, and tasty. The wonton soup featured a delicate broth, plump wonton, and generous portions of seaweed, thinly sliced fried egg, and green onions. The beef chow fun and Chinese broccoli portions were very generous. I needed up taking half of each home for another meal. Overall, the service was friendly and efficient. The decor was Asian in flavor, and seating seemed ample--there was maybe enough space for 30-40 patrons. When I drive by, it often seems busy, so it wouldn't hurt to take advantage of the online reservation system, order ahead and take out, or delivery. There is an ATM inside if cash is needed or preferred, but credit cards are definitely accepted. I look forward to coming back to try other items off the menu.
