So I have to say this, hands down the best dim sum in the city. I came here for a lunch with my co workers. Upon arriving, there I've noticed it is a lot of locals eating here which is a good sign already. How you order is they give you a marker and you mark how much portion you want on the menu given to you. The portions were so BIG. We honestly ordered way to much. My favorites were the salt and pepper tofu which melted in your mouth, the crispy shrimp balls, & the turnip cakes. The service was super fast & fyi there was only one worker there who spoke English. It was super busy during lunch time, and I wouldn't say its underrated because it seems the locals already know whats up with this place. Now, if this place were to go viral I wouldn't be surprised. I will definitely come back with my own family to eat here again.

What an experience!! I ordered some of my favorite dim sum dishes and a few new ones and boy was it satisfying. Service was spot on quick and the atmosphere made it feel even better. Yall gotta stop by this place but be prepared to wait. Place your name on the waitlist clipboard but keep an eye on your spot. Sometimes you'll get those that like to go ahead of you because they think it's ok.

The only rule about dim sum club is you tell others to come! This place was bustling soon after opening for the day, and as soon as the first dumplings started arriving, it was clear why. Perfectly done shrimp & chive dumplings, stuffed eggplant, beef balls, and we kept it coming. The beef chow fun was a solid rendition, maybe a little on the oily side, but mighty tasty and wok hei'd. The owner Huang Mei was at the register and cheerily keeping an eye on everything. She owns five other restaurants in SF, and a sixth is opening in Fisherman's Wharf soon, so hey dim sum empire.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of dining at Dim Sum Club for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were only three of us, but we ordered what seemed like a ton of different dishes plus some garlic pea sprouts and the pan fried noodles with beef and black bean. Every dish was very tasty and came to the table piping hot. The dumplings were plump and well seasoned and came with four in an order. We had the egg yolk lava buns for dessert and even though mine was cold by the time I ate it, the sweet egg yolk filling oozed out. It was a bit too sweet for me, but still good. My friend, who had never had it before, really liked it. The pan fried noodles were pretty plain, but still tasty; there was an abundance of onions, some green pepper, and a fair amount of beef. The beef was tender and the noodles had some nice crispy parts, a big plus for the dish! We got there at about 11 on a Monday; they opened at 10:30. We were seated immediately, but about half an hour later all the tables were filled and people were still coming in looking for a table. Service was friendly and attentive; they filled the tea pot a couple of different times for us and brought us a pot of hot water when it was requested. Everything went well and the food was very good. I found the prices to be a bit higher than many other places, but that probably won't prevent me from returning!

Went to Dim Sum Club on Saturday around 11:30 am. All the tables were taken, but the wait was only about 5 minutes for a table of two. The menu is front and back, and ordering is simple: each item is listed in Chinese and English, includes a picture, and shows the price. Just grab a marker and write in the quantity you want for each item. The server then takes the menu and enters everything into their POS system. Everything ordered is delicious: Shrimp & Pork Siu Mai Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll Sticky Rice Chicken in Lotus Leaf Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings Beef Ball with Bean Curd Skin Sesame Ball I've been here many times, and it's always reliable. There are many grandmas and grandpas dining here, which is generally the highest endorsement a dim sum place can get. Good food, generous portions, and great value for the price.

We started out the new year by having dim sum here today Monday around 11:00am. The restaurant was 1/2 full already. We ordered dim sum items off the order form which included pictures of each item. Everything was hot out of the kitchen. Only one little hiccup where we got someone else's rice noodle. We started eating it before the staff noticed wrong table. We paid for it of course. The only item I would skip next time is the spicy XLB. Otherwise all else good. We had a total of 14 items for the three of us. Good thing we worked out at the gym prior to coming. Tea $1.50 p/p.

Price to taste quality is more than fair here. Easily one of the most affordable dim sum restaurants in the city. The salted egg yolk pumpkin is quite good. Ha gao, siu mai and chicken feet meet expectations. My dad loves the quail and cha siu churng fun here. The fried tofu, fried rice and veggies are some of my favorites here. Service is fast. Restaurant is cramped. But it feels like going back to old school China. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

My party of 4 arrived at dim sum club around 10am on a Saturday and were lucky to grab one of the last open tables. It was busy, and seating was a little tight, but nice and clear, warm and brightly lit inside. We ordered way too many things with a pen on the provided menu, and food came out at a steady pace. The menu is really extensive and includes all the dim sum classics and some items that you don't always see elsewhere! Standout items included the stuffed eggplant and lotus root, and the siu mai and har gow were also quite good. The duck dumpling seemed to be a specialty, and was tasty but didn't stand out as much as the other dishes. Everything overall was really good quality, and came out hot. Our tea was always refilled promptly, and overall service was quick and efficient. There are plenty of great dim sum places to frequent in SF, and Dim Sum Club is a great option - I'll likely add this to the rotation :) It's not as crowded as many of the other dim sum places may get, at least at 10 on a Saturday, though there did seem to be a line forming outside when we left at 11:30!

On a Friday afternoon I treat my mom and sis to dim sum!! We get seated immediately! :) there have been dim sum restaurant closures in the Sunset so this is a gem. I hope it stays open because it is good! It's comfortable in here. Not a big space but we enjoyed it. Everything we ordered was great especially the beef balls, stuffed green peppers, preserved egg and pork porridge and mango pudding!! My mom wanted to go back immediately and my sister gave it 9 out 10! Really good! We loved it!!

We were visiting SF and one thing my hubby always want is dim sum. We just didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for it. We heard of Dim Sum Club and never tried it. So why not? We were 2nd on the wait list and got seated within about 10 mins. Its a small cute little restaurant so no carts rolling around here. They give you a menu and pen, you mark what you want. They took our order quickly but food took a while to come out. Once it started coming, though, it was worth the wait, everything tasted great! My favorite was the chives and shrimp dumplings, the skin was a perfect thick/thinness, so fresh, full of flavor. We ordered two types of tripe, spicy and soy/ginger. The radishes was crispy on the outside and soft on the outside. The stuffed eggplant was surprisingly delicious, it had a crispy skin and sweet soy glaze with a little ball of minced plumped shrimp. The chicken feet were tender and seasoned just right. And of course you can't go wrong with thr basics of ha gow and siu mai. The food was delicious overall and not overpriced like a lot of dim sum spots in SF. Even with the slow timing, I'd still come back for the food alone.

We came here for lunch. Everything was hot steamy and crispy. This restaurant does not serve woo quok/fried taro root. The 3 of us ordered 7 dishes and finished it all! Haw gao, siu mai, hom sui quok, chicken feet, veggie egg rolls and shrimp and leek dumplings. Everything was steamed and hot and savory. Delicious!!

My friends and I came here on Monday (Indigenous people's day) at 2pm, with lunch ending at 3pm. There were several parties inside but not too crowded, so we were easily seated. We ordered a variety of dishes - shu mai, XLB, sticky rice, turnip cake, stuffed eggplant, egg yolk buns, egg tart, pan fried pork bun. The food was solid for dimsum. I've had better XLB, turnip cake, egg tart, and sticky rice; but then i also loved the egg yolk bun and the shu mai. XLB the coating was a bit thicker than i am used to, the turnip cake could be a bit crispier, egg tart and sticky rice a bit more flavorful. However, I still enjoyed this meal! I heard this place can get crazy busy, so I was thankful we were easily able to get seated. Maybe you just have to come at off hours. This dim sum place gets the job done.

Service wasn't bad. We came when they were about to close midday. I could see this place feeling really crowded if they were crowded. Tables are not spaced very far. Out of everything we got I liked the XLBs and salt and pepper fish. Parking can be hard to find since it's all street parking.

The staff were friendly and super prompt about clearing empty plates and refilling our tea whenever we signaled it was done, which is always great as the dishes just get on coming! We ordered a bunch of dishes to share, and several really stood out. The spicy tendon was fantastic, shredded paper thin and swimming in a classic spicy sauce. The spicy lamb dumplings were another highlight, with an incredibly thin wrapper and a super flavorful and not gamey at all lamb filling. I also loved the stir fried rice cakes, which were sliced thin enough to avoid that overly chewy texture, and the stir fried noodles Shanghai style were classic and simple in the best way, with big chunks of cabbage and meat and just executed really (the chefs clearly have some serious wok skills!). Not everything we ordered was an absolute knockout as the vegetable dishes could use a bit more flavor and seasoning, but everything overall was good, and the portions across the board were very generous. The desserts were a last-minute decision and I am so glad we went for them. The lava custard buns were fluffy and amazing, with a molten salted egg custard inside, and the sesame balls had a satisfyingly crispy exterior that gave way to a perfectly chewy interior and sweet red bean filling. The value here is also excellent. We left absolutely stuffed and spent around $30 per person, which felt like a great deal for how much food we got and how much we enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Stopped by Palette Tea House with The Kid after FoodieLand thinking we were just coming for tea... and ended up having a full experience. We sat at the communal high-top table in the center of the restaurant, which has a small pond built into it with little goldfish and even a tiny rubber duck sitting on the rock formation -- such a cute detail and definitely adds to the ambiance. Our server Ken was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended the Iron Goddess tea, which ended up being excellent. The Kid ordered the Milk Aroma Oolong, which surprisingly tasted almost like milk tea even though it's just brewed tea. Each tea comes with its own kettle, and Ken even came back to refill the hot water for us. For food, we ordered the Wagyu Beef Fried Rice, which was a huge portion and easily shareable. Very flavorful and well prepared. We also tried the Sichuan Seafood Dumplings and the Iberico Pork Dumplings, both of which were delicious. One order is definitely enough to share. The dumplings come with several dipping sauces including soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, hot mustard, and a cilantro-based sauce that had a slightly sweet, horseradish-like flavor that really stood out. Bao is warm and woody and serene on the inside, a great counterpoint to the bustle of Valencia at every hour. Tonight a couple of wizards were in the process of making chicken potstickers. Even being vegetarian, just seeing how the dumplings and other items are made is like seeing secrets being shared. I love it and it sets the vibe for the restaurant. My order consisted of the steamed vegetarian buns and sautéed string beans. The buns come out beautifully presented and taste even better: the bun itself is just slightly sweet and that sweetness adds an amazing dimension to the chopped fresh vegetables inside. Can't tell you what any of these veggies are individually and I don't care, they are so good.
