    Broccoli Beef with chow mein

Came for lunch in a Friday. They have lunch specials weekdays. I ordered beef with broccoli but added ginger plus cha fed out w Steamed rice with chow mein. They do give you a cup of soup like hot and sour or egg drop soup. Service is fast. Looks like any chines restaurant but they have lots of tables.

Since we were tight on time, we called in our order before coming in. Upon arrival, our table was set and they had already started bringing out our food with one dish on the table. Good intention but we would've felt better if they waited til we got there before bringing any food out. Overall service was great, staff was nice, value was good.

New Red Jade on Church Street is officially in my regular rotation. Their lunch special is top tier -- easily one of the best deals in the neighborhood. The portions are generous (it's almost always two meals for me), everything arrives fresh and hot, and the quality never feels like it's being sacrificed for price. That combo is rare. The fried rice? Consistently flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Princess Prawns? Yum yum. Lightly crisp, saucy in the best way, and deeply satisfying. I mostly order delivery and it travels really well, which says a lot. But when I've popped in, it's actually a cute, casual spot to dine in too -- comfortable and low-key. If you're in the area and want a solid, well-priced Chinese lunch that doesn't miss, this is it. Five stars. Will absolutely keep coming back.

Great food, great portions and value. The food was well seasoned and flavored without being overly salty. Delicious char and wok hei on the chow fun, and the string beans and tofu were nicely fried. The eggplant tofu sauce was very umami. Overall would come again, service was great too!

I have been coming to this restaurant for 30 years plus. It is my favorite go to Chinese restaurant. They have been consistently wonderful with their food. You can taste the love that goes into each and every dish. I just tried the black pepper, beef tenderloin chow mein, which isn't even on the new menu yet. Let me tell you... The noodles were cooked to perfection. They weren't soggy at all. They weren't greasy, they were perfect. The entire dish makes me appreciate this place more and more. They're not new. They're just getting a new menu! Come here.

This place is a go-to for me whenever i crave for Chinese food and want to skip cooking. Flavor is balanced and consistent, never disappointed. What i like most is the potion of the food. With how crazy and out of control prices are these days, their food feels especially worth it. one order is easily enough for two meals for me. Really appreciate this. The staffs are friendly and the food comes out fast. Overall, it's a dependable spot for traditional Chinese food with good flavors, good portions, and great value.

I'm a regular at the Red Jade, as I work nearby. Every dish I've tried has been fresh and lovely. The workers remember my face and occasionally give me a complimentary treat. This place is a respite for me from fast paced work. The atmosphere is relaxing, and I feel welcomed. What I can't eat on lunch break, I take home. My kids are always sure to finish it!

I've been here a couple of times and I think their lunch specials are a great bang-for-your-buck! FOOD [4.5/5] =========== + Dim Sum Combo (5/5) The dimsum is tasty and good portion size. I would definitely recommend this if you want variety! + Mongolian Lamb Lunch Combo (4/5) The rice to meat portion could be improved (I barely finished 50% of the rice-- it's so much!) but the Mongolian lamb is soooo tasty and juicy and tender! The soup that it comes with is DELICIOUS. Service just feels a bit mean sometimes but wasn't expecting too much anyways!

I love coming here for their lunch specials, a great deal for delicious food. Always busy, but the staff are quick and accommodating. Weekday Lunch special comes with soup and tea, and a little dessert donut. I come here frequently

The chicken wonton soup is good , we tried it the other day. This restaurant has been serving in the community for many years. Price is affordable and good place for lunch and dinner .

r free in our order, 2 little bbq pork buns and 3 little sesame balls. First, the food was generally tasty and had authentic flavors (though on heavier side, so works for us since we like heavier seasoning). Generally more greasy than we prefer but that tends to be the same at most Chinese restaurants so not outlier. We got the cumin lamb which had succulent pieces though not very lamb-forward and could have more cumin seasoning, but was tasty. Also got water chestnut snow peas (solid), broccoli and beef (solid), a fish dish which I can't remember name of (prefer if it weren't fried but was tasty), pork and string beans (ok, not the most flavorful so probably skip next time), and hot and sour soup (solid). Total was about $100 for 6 dishes. I can't comment on the atmosphere as we got delivery. Ordered through the restaurant's website directly for free delivery which was fast and smooth. Overall would definitely order again and save on list of go-to Chinese food. Photo of complimentary bbq bun and sesame ball only because we already devoured the rest of the food before I had a chance to take pictures.

I discovered this place recently and now try to come here at least once a week. I first saw their prices and was really surprised how inexpensive this place was. I thought what's the catch? Is the food not good, are the portions small? No! And No! Food is great and the portions are very dangerous. And so many things are complimentary: the soup, tea, water, a fortune cookie and even a sesame ball. The service is always friendly and super efficient. The place is nicely decorated and clean. You can tell it's nicely run family business.

The event going off without a hitch was really important, especially because the bride had lost her mom and didn't have her to celebrate this special milestone. I wanted to make sure the order was on time and there were no issues with delivery. I ended up canceling my original order because DoorDash wasn't going to confirm a dasher until the day of the delivery. I re-ordered through DoorDash but this time as a pick up. Again, DoorDash's service was leaving me unsure because they weren't going to send the order through until the pick up day. This was $500 worth of dim sum and I didn't want to take a chance the restaurant didn't receive the order or that they couldn't fulfill it in time. So, I canceled that order as well. I called the restaurant directly. They took my order without hesitation and made me feel at ease that everything will be ready on time. I called again in the morning to confirm my order before leaving for pick up. I couldn't get a hold of anyone, most likely they were busy with their Sunday rush, but they called me back even without me leaving a message! When I arrived my order was ready, The food was hot, packaged so nicely, and everything was clearly prepared with care. I was helped by a very nice staff member who made us feel like we were longtime customers. My daughter and her friends absolutely loved the food! Thank you so much, Dumpling House. This is our "official" dim sum option for weeknight take out. Personal favorites for me are always going to be the salt/pepper wings, the steamed pork buns, the crystal shrimp dumplings, and the scallion pancakes. My wife loves the soup dumplings, the shu mai. We could eat those dishes every week until we die pretty much, they are reliably good and comforting. Particular shout out on the pork buns though because they are just the absolute best consistency from a filling/bun standpoint. Soft, pillowy, they are glorious. I used to get pork buns from Good Mong Kok Bakery, but tbh, this is about 10x better. The soup dumpling also are quite good, I like the spicy ones but the black truffle is defintely worth it for the occasional splurge. They give you the red vinegar for it too which not all places do. Everything one needs to enjoy. I haven't been in person so I couldn't speak for the service or the location, but if you want a spot that delivers on time and often includes items for free (the pork buns are now free for orders over $50), this is great value and just great food. Chefs kiss.

Naturally, I thought the same would be for this location, ordering for delivery. Sadly, I was proved very very wrong. I got a total of 3 items and paid a little over $50 not including tip.First plate, stir fry noodle Shanghai style 0/5. Noodles were stiff, entire plate lacked flavor, it was really dry. The cabbage was just sort of thrown in there and to my surprise, there was chicken (I didn't think it came with meat) and it was so suspicious, one bite and I immediately had to spit it out. It was chewy and tasted uncooked. I began to lose my appetite... Sesame Chicken 0/5 - it was all batter, little to NO meat inside whatsoever. Saucy but it was very clumpy. I was so disappointed with this one. It was literally just eating fried batter in sesame sauce with sesame seeds thrown on top. Braised String Beans - 2.5/5. They were fine, flavored enough with the grilled onions and garlic other than that, not impressive at all. I had really high hopes for this place/order. I had been craving Chinese food for so long and was going to order from my typical place but decided to give this one a try. I definitely should have stuck to what I know would have hit the spot. An absolute waste of $50, so frustrating.

Bao is warm and woody and serene on the inside, a great counterpoint to the bustle of Valencia at every hour. Upon entering there is a large window looking on to the kitchen prep area where culinary experts are often at work constructing the food diners later enjoy on their plates. Tonight a couple of wizards were in the process of making chicken potstickers. Even being vegetarian, just seeing how the dumplings and other items are made is like seeing secrets being shared. I love it and it sets the vibe for the restaurant. My order consisted of the steamed vegetarian buns and sautéed string beans. The buns come out beautifully presented and taste even better: the bun itself is just slightly sweet and that sweetness adds an amazing dimension to the chopped fresh vegetables inside. Can't tell you what any of these veggies are individually and I don't care, they are so good. Next came the sautéed string beans and the sear on the beans themselves was perfect and smoky and delicious. The crispness of the sautee makes the string beans a lovely pairing with the soft yummy of the steamed buns. Last came the sesame balls as a sweet meal ending. The baked bbq pork buns are sweet with a decent amount of filling. The deep fried dumpling is plump, juicy, and crunchy. The shrimp and chive dumplings are my favorite. It's full of shrimp with a slightly thicker skin, which I think adds a nice chewiness. The veggie egg rolls were okay. I personally wouldn't order those, even if I was craving them. The spare ribs had a really nice savory flavor from the sauce. The egg tarts were okay. I need to note that these bags are leftovers from the day, so they're not as fresh. But they held up the next day so I was able to stretch 2 meals out of them. I can't comment on service since these bags are only for pick up. But they quickly provide the bags once the window open. And it's a small space, with maybe 2 tables. So this place is probably best for to-go orders. Their 2g2g bags have more variety than their Chinatown location. Not sure how many dim sum options there are in the Mission, but I would go here if I was in the area and craving a shrimp and chive dumpling.
