We decided to give this food stall in the food court inside the Asian Garden Mall a try on a recent visit on a Monday in January 2025. The food looks decent and there's quite a variety, and we tried the shiu mai, xiaolongbao, and wonton noodle soup. Only the wonton soup was fairly decent. The shrimp and pork shiu mai was dry and tasted old. The xiaolongbao was lukewarm and lacked any juice. I had better samples from Costco. $8 for the shiu mai and $9 for the xiaolongbao is pretty pricey for food court food. The service was friendly but you may want to pay in cash as they charge a flat 3% for credit card payments. read more

Sorry to report the bad news for new customers like myself. Ordered almost $200 of food to be delivered which took 2hrs and the food was cold. Cold dim sum is a sin. Seafood Shrimp was super salty. Shut Mai looked like miniature size from h-mart frozen package. Chicken feet were tough to chew on. Chinese donuts were the only thing good and greasy. BBQ pork bun was solid cold. Come on guys... Pass on this. Dim Sum Co is much better or Seafood Cove should be the place to go instead. read more

F O O D They serve dim sum all day, which is really nice for me since I love it so much and cannot always make it out early to get it for lunch. Their portions are larger than what I'm used to, but they're about $6 so it's fairly priced. Their shu mai and seaweed wrapped item is juicy and filled with meat. Their football is more pastry-like on the outside by having a slightly flaky feel. Their BBQ pork bun wasn't as saucy and sweet as I would have preferred, but their meat to bun ratio was very good. Overall, decent quality dim sum served all day with a drink bar next door. They serve milk teas and various sugarcane drinks all the way to size XL! Food is delicious, price point is decent. It's inside a big Asian mall towards the front facing Bolsa. Ordered ahead via DoorDash, came about 5m after the "pickup time" but they had no idea of the order. Showed them my name/receipt of the order, for whatever reason they were trying to figure out my order. I was trying to explain if it's not ready just get it ready but they wanted to verify the order, even with a receipt with date/time stamp. Took them 10 minutes to figure that out, another 5 minutes to get my order ready. The whole time they never acknowledged or even apologized. I'd say that's pretty bad customer service. At the very least acknowledge they messed up somewhere and apologize for the inconvenience. Understand that this could very well be a one off but the service during their mistakes tells a lot about the restaurant. read more

Looking for a quick fix for Dim Sum on our way back from San Diego. Was considering other place, but they only offered to go. We were looking for a place where we can pick something quick, eat, and go. Prices seemed to be okay! Not sure how long the food has been sitting on the counter, but the lady who served us always reached for the bottom one and even that the food temperature was just lukewarm. We ordered har gow, shumai, bbq pork bun, egg tart, and yang chow fried rice. My husband ordered the rice with the roasted duck. The food was average! Nothing really stand out! I'll give shumai and bbq pork bun 4 out of 5, but the rest were meh! The guy who served the rice and duck scooped the rice from the rice cooker and quickly returned it back. He went and got the leftover rice instead and warmed it up in the microwave. I'll give credit to the lady who served our food! She was really nice! That's the only reason I give 3! Will we be back? I ordered some dim sum items via DoorDash and it was decent. The service was quick, but the food quality is lacking. The green beans were garlicky and quite tasty. The rest of the items were very pretty basic. The siu mai was good, the honey sauce ribs that were given contained more fat than meat, the sesame balls were lacking in filling and we also ordered the steamed piggy red bean buns but they were actually custard filled (I don't know if that was a mistype in their menu), and sadly the steamed juicy pork soup dumpling arrived with no soup anymore (it may have just gotten absorbed into the wrapping, so it's better to eat those fresh at their location). The milk teas were pretty basic too and the boba was okay. Overall, not quite worth what you pay for but there definitely better dim sum spots that do their to-go items better. read more

It's super old tasting, super wet and soggy, and super oily for some reason. I've never had such mushy, wet, and oily siu mai before. I never ever go into the Asian garden mall but today we went because my niece wanted to watch her friends who were part of the lunar new year fashion show being held in the mall. The food was so salty, old tasting, the fried pork dumplings were the best tasting but not great. Bbq pork (char siu) buns were cold and bread chewy. The milk tea my boyfriend ordered HAD NO TEA flavor whatsoever. I took a sip to see what he meant and it was straight up milk with artificially tasting sugar. Like where is the tea flavor?? They were so busy and disorganized that he didn't want to bother asking for a remake or refund. He just gave it back to them and told them to dump it bc it didn't taste right (he was not rude at all by the way, just didn't want to add to their busyness). I am just so confused at why this place had such a long line lol..... but upon looking around, it is mostly teenagers ordering here who don't know any better. If you are okay with paying for overpriced dim sum then this is the place for you. To me, it's definitely not worth it. I ordered the pork sui mai that had 5 pieces. According to the price list that said $5.45 for 1 order, you have to look at the parentheses that says except for sui mai, rice roll, and other stuff). I've eaten a lot of dim sum and this place sucks. Beware of the nice lady that steers you to her establishment. She's nice, but she forgot my rice roll order and I stood there for 20 minutes before approaching her and she said sorry she forgot. So I waited another 10 minutes. I'm all for supporting small businesses, but this is price gouging. It's cheaper to go somewhere else. This place is located in Phuoc Loc Tho and food in there is expensive. Also, no one there spoke decent English to explain to me that they only had 1 flavor for the shaved ice. The one picture on their menu doesn't display it clearly.
