I was excited to get a flyer in the mail from this place. My husband and I finally made it in last month. They were not busy and we ate in. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. We had crab cheese wontons (just ok), Original Pork Xiao Long Bao ( excellent), Pork & Shrimp Siu Mai Dim Sum ( so good!) and Lobster Shrimp Dumplings (perfect!). We ordered Sesame Chicken and Mongolian Beef with steamed rice. Unfortunately these 2 main course dishes were disappointing. Although advertised as hot & spicy, we found them not to be at all. The Sesame Chicken was way too sweet and mostly batter, very little chicken, and tough. The beef was tender but too salty for our taste. The rice was perfectly cooked. We decided we would definitely go back for the dumplings but probably not order a meal again. The cost was typical, close to a $100 including tax and 20% tip. We did take home leftovers. read more

Bee a long time since I had authentic dumplings. My sister recommended this restaurant. To go order, online ordering was easy. prices seemed reasonable. I ordered regular steamed rice and Long Bao (8 flavors) just to See if going to be good. Generous with the rice. the Long Baos were delicious. Regretf I am not normally in this area often. The highlight for me was the beef in the beef chow fun. It was flavorful and the texture was cooked perfectly. The dim sum and soup dumpling aren't bad but I prefer more oily dim sum (that's the best kind), that's just my preference. The dumplings and other dim sum dishes were pretty thick in dough (not a fan) but the flavors are good. It seems like it's still an up and coming restaurant. When my husband and I went there was only one server handling all orders. Food took some time to come out. Most places give you the hardy stuff last so you don't get full. This place didn't do that. They brought the noodles out first then all the dim sum dishes. We just waited until the dim sum dishes were out to eat the hardy stuff. There were only a few tables inside with a long bar. This place used to be a sushi restaurant so it's a little tiny and the tables are a little too close together. Since it's right down the street from us, we'd probably go back but if we wanted real dim sum, we'd go to the Federal area in Denver. read more

Came in to town for a visit with family over Christmas. It was Christmas Eve and my dad hadn't been feeling well. I had gone out like a raccoon to forage for something to eat and see what was open. Came across Dillon's Dumpling house and it did not disappoint. The manager stopped and took time to answer questions as to the types of dumplings. By remembering about Xiao long bao and where they came from sparked a very good conversation with the manager. The dumplings were amazing and gone quickly. The shrimp fried rice perked my dad up as well who hadn't been feeling well. The restaurant itself may have seemed small, but it made you feel close to the other patrons without feeling like you were on top of them. Will be going back when I come back to Colorado! read more

First time visiting. Had a wonderful experience overall. The service was very good and personable. Of all the things we got the beef chow fun was my favorite. The Chinese broccoli (gai lan) was perfectly cooked too it was tender yet still retained a good crunch to it and seasoned well with the oyster sauce. The Peking Duck was good with nice, crispy skin but the meat itself felt a little under seasoned to me. Now for the main attraction: the Xiao Long Bao. We ordered the crab and pork ones but after eating some, realized that it had shrimp in there too. We don't have an allergy but that wasn't what we wanted so upon letting them know about it they proceeded to get us something else which is when we got the original ones with pork. It turns out that they had just made the change to the dumpling a few days ago and it has not been reflected in their menu yet. We definitely appreciated their attentiveness to our needs and rectifying the mistake so we didn't have to pay for the crab dumplings given that was on them. Now for the soup dumplings themselves overall it was good but I would say that skin is too thick and the soup to filling ratio is off. There should be more soup. Otherwise it was really good. We'd love to visit again. read more

This place is very small environment but excellent. The portions are very good and the service is quick. Me and my family love the soup dumplings, the sesame buns, the jalapeño triple beef entree, the edamame, the wontons and chicken pot stickers. Chinese cuisine has always been fascinating. It's very complex and the spices are abundant. I love dumplings or. gyoza (餃子) as it is known in Japan. When I was in college, I would get together with other graduate students and have dumpling parties. You make them and make them and fill yourself. It's really sociable because everyone's making the dumplings together. I was very impressed with the Chinese grad students. I never saw any drunken parties or fist fights. They're always very diplomatic and considerate and they were so dedicated.. It was study study study. And they made great friends. Although not large in scale like some, the quality of the food is fantastic. Quite the treat to say the least, we were pleasantly greeted with a smile and seated. We ordered steamed lobster and shrimp soup dumplings as well as some pork and shrimp siu mai for a snack. Delicious and savory we discussed how much we liked the food. A family run establishment with a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, we're determined to explore the menu more. The soup dumplings were stuffed to the brim with filling and I loved that the wrapper was thin and light. I had the Mongolian beef. I've had this dish plenty of times at other establishments. All were good. But this particular dish was super spicy and very very peppery. I mean ALOT of pepper. To the point your nose gets all tickly. Had to toss it out. It lacked any Mongolian sauce flavor. Tasted just like alot of pepper. Was really looking forward to this dish. The dumplings were absolutely delicious and my vegetarian partner was stoked to have a veggie option of the soup dumplings, something we can't always find. The restaurant was packed when we got there, but the staff was still able to seat us quickly, take our orders, and get our food out impressively fast given how busy they were. Went for a post game meal with the family. We have been looking for a an Asian dumpling location in the south metro area. This place did not disappoint! Since it was a holiday it was a little quiet but the staff quickly made us feel welcome and no delay in service, they were hand making dumplings so you could watch ... no question at that point it was going to be fresh. We ordered a variety of items so we could sample a many items. We did get hot and sour soup as we always love that to start ... very good and no skimping on textured items in the sooo, also got seaweed salad. I really enjoyed that it was not overly acidic. We chose soup dumplings,, steamed and pan fried dumplings and a steamed pork belly bun. Everything we had was really nicely presented, no overly strong sauces to hide the flavors.. all the items were nicely balanced with their accompanying sauces.
