Our traditional Chinese place is closed on Tuesday. I thought, what a good chance to try a different place! My husband was feeling under the weather and really wanted his go to, Sweet and Sour soup. I ordered a side of crab/cheese Rangoon too. Upon entering I noticed a clean take out restaurant with some seats and was greeted warmly by a nice person. My order was ready for pick up, as promised. My husband has been eating sweet and sour soup for decades from all over, so I consider him a "connoisseur" of sorts. When he started to eat it, he added vinegar to it, because the flavor was lacking and wasn't "sour". Also had very little of the traditional vegetables of bamboo shoots, carrot, and mushroom. Also very little tofu. The Rangoon side dish was lack luster too. Not sure exactly what, but a little tasteless. Not sure we will be back. read more

We loved how fast and reasonably priced dinner was here! The scallion pancakes were insanely good and the sesame chicken was great too. Service was super friendly too, I'd definitely come back for take out again! read more

Not good at all. The food quality is very poor. Panda Express uses better quality meat than this place. Didnt see service or ambiance because ordered it on delivery read more

I tried this place on a whim one day because I happened to be in the Safeway parking lot. I saw a review that said something about really good pork fried rice so even though that's not what I was craving, I gave it a go. I'm glad I did. It's honestly my favorite pork fried rice. There is a lot of meat in that rice and different types too. Prices are reasonable and the people are very nice. Bonus, I love that they have ice cold Pepsi in a can!!! This is my second time and I'll definitrbe back. read more

Food is terrible. Ordered Kung Pao chicken. A bad smell came from the order, not appetizing. The meat did not taste like chicken and did not have the texture of chicken either. I don't know what it was - maybe pork - but my imagination was working and I could not eat it. Tossed the whole thing in the trash after a few bites. Ate the rice, which was bland but at least it did not smell weird and I know it's rice. The dumplings were pre-fried and not hot, but edible. Never going back. read more

The restaurant is clean and the woman who took my order was really sweet. That alone, deserves 3 stars. I dined in. I was craving sesame tofu and veggie egg rolls. The egg rolls were crispy and hot, but not good. They served the egg rolls with duck sauce in a packet. I wouldn't purchase the egg rolls again. The sesame tofu was beautifully plated, with a scoop of white rice and broccoli. The sesame tofu wasn't good and wasn't crispy. I wish I could articulate what wasn't good about the sauce, but I can't. The white rice was good and there was soy sauce on the table to use if I needed it. I only expect soggy sesame tofu when I order takeout. Otherwise, I expect it to be crispy. Perhaps I have the wrong expectations for this dish, or maybe I've been spoiled by other restaurants that serve crispy sesame tofu. I was really disappointed in the meal. I might give it another try, but I won't waste my money on the veggie egg rolls or sesame tofu. read more

My friends and I dined in here. The food came out in a timely manner and was hot and fresh! Owner was very friendly and hospitable. Great food, 10/10! read more

This is probably the best place to go in SE Denver for vegan Chinese food. I've never seen a Chinese restaurant that offered meat substitutes for chicken and beef and not just tofu. I had the "chicken" and mixed vegetables and it was fantastic. The "chicken" tasted a bit like seitan but had a unique flavor of its own. At $10.95 I'd say it's a little pricey when compared to most Chinese takeout places but it's worth it for the uniqueness and they still have me about 2 meals worth of food. The restaurant was pretty standard for Chinese takeout but it did look very clean and well maintained. I didn't have to wait at all for my food to come out when I arrived at the counter either. I really appreciate that they give it to you in a cardboard box instead of a plastic bag. Much more sustainable and easier to carry. All in all, a very good experience and I will likely eat here again. read more

This is one of those restuarants that I've never actually been to, but always order delivery from. They are always on time, sometimes early even and the food is awesome! You get so much for the price and I'm always full. The customer service is always great too! They always seem so happy to see us and it brings a smile to our faces. This is such a great place for Chinese takeout on a budget! read more

Food was unusual selection, but good. Service pleasant. Pork and veggies perfectly spiced.

Friendly people, fast service, and both times we've gone we've been really happy with the food! Our go-to takeout near our house.

the food delivery was quick, but the food was awful. I ordered teriyaki beef and it was completely flavorless. Huge disappointment

Great food best in Aurora! Shrimp fried rice is my favorite. Pineapple fried rice is yummy.

I ordered takeout and the food was ready fast and it was delicious! The lady behind the counter was very polite and attentive. I will definitely be coming back here! read more

As fans of Joy Asian for several years now, my family and I have been repeated customers. I love their BBQ Spare Ribs, as the taste is similar to the Cantonese BBQ Pork (Cha Siu). My mom loves their Chow Fun (stir fry rice noodles) that closely resembles the homemade Hokkien style my great-grandmother used to make and the HK Chow Mein that kinda resembles the drier HK version in Dim Sum restaurants. After catching Covid-19 for the 2nd time, we're grateful for them to remain open through our severely ill and disheartening days. They made her feel almost as if her grandmother is still around, or maybe she guided her to this special chef to show that she's still watching over her. Since the 2nd time we caught Covid and became long haulers this time around, my mom's stomach ulcer and other medical conditions worsened as a result of Covid complications, and she needs more substantial noodles for her ultra painful condition. So I order the HK Chow Mein with extra egg noodles and no black pepper because her stomach can no longer take anything spicy at all. The last few times it came with no black pepper as requested. We've ordered it soo many times that they pretty much know exactly what I was going to say before I tell them. However, despite me saying repeatedly over the phone for "With NO black pepper, NO spicy at all," it came WITH black pepper. My mom ate only 2 small bites and her stomach burned within less than 2 minutes afterwards. I called back and asked for an exchange for another one with no pepper, explaining repeatedly over the phone. They refused to admit any mistake on their part by insisting it had no pepper. I pointed out that my mom's intensely burning stomach and the black dots in the noodles are black peppers. They still refused to admit anything and refused to exchange it. Then the lady handed the phone to "a man with authority" (Owner? Manager?). He escalated his voice at my mom, blatantly GASLIGHTED her by pretending to have misunderstood the "No pepper, no spice" request. Again, she tried to explain her stomach ulcer issue and how she does not want to end up back in the ER for a 3rd time. He then yelled at her, "if you want exchange, you bring it back, we have no driver." But with chronic wound on her feet that recently flared up again and Covid-induced nausea and severe vertigo, she can't stand over the stove to cook, which is why she absolutely needed that egg noodles in the first place. As she was starting to explain why she can't drive in her condition and if she does end up in the ER again, who will be responsible for another ER medical bill? Before she could finish her sentence, the man immediately cut her off, absolutely refused to admit any mistake by yelling at her again, "THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. I DON'T CARE!" And he hung up on her. This level of professional misconduct and lack of compassion and integrity is uncalled for and a deal breaker based on our traditional Asian values. My grandpa was a Chinese chef for decades and my mom used to bus tables at East Cafe during her teen years. So we are well versed in Chinese restaurant operations and uphold the utmost respect, understanding, and patience with any restaurant staff, including non-Asian restaurants. But to yell at a Covid long haul patient or other fellow humans when we are severely ill at home is beyond disheartening. How unfortunate that we must end this many-years-long fanship and loyal support, as they have lost 2 loyal fans permanently. read more

It's hard to find good food spots. This is definitely a gem. Great food! Try the honey chicken extra crisp.

Was a bit nervous to try due to the very mixed reviews but I'm sooooo glad I did. I ordered from the yelp app and my food showed up at my door exactly 15 minutes later! We ordered tofu in garlic sauce, vegetarian sesame chicken, vegetable fried rice, and vegetable lo mein. We absolutely loved everything we got. They even threw in a free box of sugar donuts! Tofu in Garlic Sauce: tangy and flavorful with a perfect amount of sauce. Contained tofu, onions, peppers, baby corn, bamboo shoots, and bean sprouts. I ordered it with medium heat, I'd amp up to spicy next time Vegetarian Sesame Chicken: SOOOOO GOOOODDDD. I haven't had real chicken in a few years and I really missed orange chicken / sesame chicken type Chinese food. I'm so stoked to have found this dish. Extremely good. Vegetable Fried Rice: your typical veggie fried rice. Not superb but I will order it again. Vegetable Lo Mein: 10/10 will order again. Nice amount of flavor & a good ratio of veggies to noodles. My only complaint would be that I asked in the comments for sweet & sour sauce but there was none. Not sure if they even carry it but that would have been good to know. Overall, I will be ordering from here again! read more

The best Asian Cuisine in the Aurora area. At first you might think the price is a little high, but when you see the size of the portions and taste the food...You will change your mind and be glad you tried this place. I would give this place 9 stars if I could! We have been customers of this place for 14+ years now. I will recommend this place to any and all. read more

This is not the traditional Chinese flavor I would say..... the cooks don't even speak chinese...I think they are Indonesian. I order the shrimp with snow peas and it tasted very blend....need more seasoning. ..and the fried rice is not very hot and tasted it was day old. Wonton soup tasted like only soy sauce in water....I am Chinese and this is a shame for Chinese restaurant. read more

Pretty good Chinese food. It's not the best you've ever had, but not the worst. Just a divey local place in a strip mall. Pretty cheap--you can get a whole dinner with egg roll for about $8 friendly staff and very fast service would recommend read more

Ordered the combination noodle bowl, the meat had no flavor, very dry and just bland. My noodle bowl had an eggroll in it, VERY hard to bite into. Staff seemed somewhat friendly. I always get it to go. Food is always fresh and very flavorful. Great Asian cuisine especially for the price.

Stopped ordering from this place awhile back. I read they were under new ownership or something so my family and I gave it a try and we loved it! Our order came hot, fresh and in a timely manner. They even accepted cash as payment and had change. We tipped our driver as well. :) we ordered the orange chicken, and the beef Lo-mein noodles. I highly recommend the beef noodles. So delicious read more

I really like this little restaurant. It's just down the street from me so I have them deliver pretty often. My husband likes the sesame chicken, and I'm fond of the lo mein. Very friendly service and good food. read more

Please save your money. This place is so bad. I should have read the reviews before I ordered to save myself some grief. The portions were very small for the price and all of the food was over cooked. The lo mein noodles were mush and the egg rolls were burnt. The meat looked questionable. Just hoping I don't get sick after this. read more

My first time ordering from this place and I will say I really enjoyed the food it was all fresh the service was extremely fast and good portion sizes are a little small but overall I really enjoyed the food read more

Went there to try it out last night about 8 and ordered two things on the menu. One was orange chicken and the other was kong pow chicken. The kong pow chicken didn't taste right but I figured it was the peanuts. Needless to say I was up all night long in the restroom. The problem with some Asian restaurants is they put too much on the menu to provide for everyone's taste but you can't have all that food ready so they either freeze then bring it out when someone orders it or they store so much of everything you can't keep track of what you have on the shelf. I won't be returning. read more

Got carry out tonight-- the food was average, got beef fried rice -- was ok would not drive out of my way for it. The c.cheese wontons about what I expected. The hot and sour soup not the best I have had not the worst. The large soup is overkill size wise for one person - next time I would do the small just for myself. The bag of crunchy noodles was 1/4 full. to 1/3 full. Weird thing on ticket checking it out after I got home - there was a ROUND listed under the sales tax line of 4 cents. the subtotal was 15.70 the tax was 1.26 which should make it 16.96. Then they rounded up 4 cents to make it a even 17.00 dollars. Now I do not know if they only round up- or if they round down. Just found it raised my hackles- that with a carry out order that I am paying with a credit card and the cash register doesn't even need to be opened and change counted- that they would round the ticket. Then when I called to ask about it- the lady who answered couldn't really give me a good explanation about it. If I had know they ROUND I wouldn't have tipped. read more

Always delicious! Always fast! Best in Aurora. I personally love the sesame chicken and the curries.

Very bad customer service. I made my order, they got it wrong. I was yelled at on the phone by the representative. To only get a call back that they were mistaken. They do not know how to treat or talk to people. The food is good, but the customer service is just awful. I would not recommend that anyone goes there. The food is not worth the harassment. read more

I remember really liking this restaurant. I had gotten some Chow Mei Fun dish. My last visit I got mixed vegtables with Shrimp and egg drop soup. There was plenty of tasty shrimp and the egg drop soup was average, however I thought it came with white rice and they served it with burnt fried rice. Also, my egg roll was overcooked. I may try them again, but steer away from the fried dishes. read more

I fell in love with this place. Just when i was giving up on Colorado on their Chinese restaurants. This place is t-errific. Close to the house, decently priced and full of flavor. I have not ordered alot of stuff here. But what i have ordered has been fantastic. Pork egg rolls, yum. They are very generous with their sweet n sour sauce. Egg Drop soup ..soothes my soul and their hearty Hot n sour soup. You know its a great chinese restaurant when they can per-fect hot n sour soup. I have also had their vegetables with tofu. The staff is very friendly. I have not eaten there, i have always taken it to go. Its not a formal dining area just some chairs and tables..but because its been chilly i cant eat food when cold air comes rushin in from the front opening. Come here and enjoy the food. You wont be disappointed. read more
